I absolutely love my color which is medium brown. No red tones at all! This was my first time using e salon, and I will continue. A lot cheaper than going to a beauty salon.

I was very hesitant and worried when I made my first order, since I have always gone to a salon, and didn't think I would be able to do a very good job on my own. When I received my first kit instructions were very easy to follow and the kit had everything I needed. It was remarkably easy. The color I needed to tweak a bit and my second kit nailed it! I loved it!! Did just as good as any store color and came right to my door which was better yet. Have told many friends who dye there hair. Why pay 100.00's of dollars when you an your friends can make it a weekend party with some cheese and wine lol. I have been getting my hair colored at the salon for years. However, this is the best color I've had in years. Usually when I have my hair colored at the salon it is too dark but lightens up after numerous washes. Also, the color drains out with the first two washes. With eSalon I got the color I wanted immediately. Also, it does not wash out with several washes. It has been only a week with no gray showing through and great root coverage. I love love love the color! I have even mentioned this to my friends at work. I will continue to watch and make sure the coverage lasts, but so far so good. I am saving a ton of money this way too! I really like the color that was custom blended for me ! My hair is dark and I am trying to get to a lighter color without bleaching my hair and I received helpful tips. The directions were clear and precise. I can't wait until my next shipment to see what changes are made in the formula as they progress me to a lighter shade overall !

I found eSalon on an advertisement and wasn't sure if it was legit or not. I went through the entire process with the first hair color not being satisfactory. My colorist reformulated my color and sent it to me free of charge. The entire process was very interactive. I was very happy with the outcome. Great color, great coverage, easy application. I thought it would be hard to do myself but I was wrong.
My initial plan was to utilize this product when I couldn't get in to my regular stylist. But I am so happy with the product I think I may just always color my own hair!! And you can't beat the price!
The shade of this color is beautiful. This color has much more multi shaded than any color I have purchased in stores. With store bought hair color I normally highlighted my hair for dimension. I do not need to take that extra step with e salon hair color.
I was recommended eSalon by a friend and I haven't gone back to anything I was using a high street product but was having to touch up my greys just after two weeks, with eSalon it last over three weeks.
It is very easy to apply, I have long hair and a lot of it, sometimes I get my 13 year old daughter to help me applying the colour to the back of the head as you can't go wrong.
My hair always looks healthy and has a beautiful colour, I am going to try a hint of violet next month and can't wait for it to arrive!

I have spent a fortune coloring my hair over the past 20 years! I hated the time involved, the funky colors and most of all, the expense. I have tried other at home coloring kits but this is by far the very best! The price is a small fraction of what I pay for salon coloring and I control the color. No more red or brassy color for me!
I love the hair color eSalon developed for me. I wanted to go a shade darker and it was advised to add some "ash" color. I was hesitant, in retails store color kits include green in their ash shades. I'm so glad I tried eSalon's ash. I love it. On the color card that comes with the eSalon kit I see where my medium blonde shade includes a hint of blue (not green) and pearl. a system that works well for me is to always keep one kit on hand and when I use it, order the next kit.
I have been coloring my hair since my late 20s because of premature graying. I was getting tired of coloring every two weeks and a friend had tried this already. It was such a complete kit with easy directions. I am SO HAPPY I joined eSalon!!

I was timid at first, but pleasantly surprised with the results. My gray roots were covered completely and blended nicely with the rest of my hair. This color was not drying at all and my hair felt soft. The after color shampoo and conditioner have a very nice scent as well. i will be ordering again!

I loved the colour, so glad you changed it from the dark brown I thought I was. The stain guard and remover were inspired and I loved the little packages of hair clips and brush and bowl. Also the additional products I ordered seem to be great, not used them enough to really review. Only issue I think is that it may not have coloured my grey as well as I hoped. I don't think I left it on for long enough. But looking forward to the next order.
I loved my hair color that you guys made for me. I really can't see the violet but I know it's a subtle look without me bleaching it but I love it and all my grays are covered ty so much!!
I finally have my natural hair color again, but better and with no gray !!! When I finally had to start coloring my hair to cover the gray I started a journey of frustration. As an auburn/copper haired girl, attempting finding a close match to my natural color only ended in tears, countless salon visits and money lost. eSalon is amazing! My first custom color was almost perfect. I emailed the specialist and describe what changes I wanted and with just one adjustment it was PERFECT!!!! Plus's = assistance with color, simple directions with a sticker to hang up instead of it laying in sink, 2 pair of gloves, and the best thing was I didn't smell like I had just colored my hair at home! Love it and you will !
My natural hair color is a ver dark brown, and I had dyed it a vibrant dark red some time ago. The formulation of violets and browns in this dye perfectly cooled my hair color to a brown and wine color, while accenting my natural highlights.
