I have dyed my hair for many years but have never had such vibrant colour and coverage before. Would highly recommend this product. Easy to use app and help if needed.
Love the packaging and auto delivery service. One less thing I have to worry about. This hair dye totally covered all my grays!!! Would have given 5 stars except my color came out darker than I had wanted. Hopefully with the alteration request my next order will come out perfect 👌

This is my first time trying eSalon. I also went alittle darker. I just have to say I love my hair color and the way it feels. I highly recommend eSalon and I will be ordering my hair color from you guys for now on!!!!
This is the second time I've used eSalon for my color and I have not been disappointed. The color is just what I wanted and lasted a long time without fading (which is difficult with reds). I don't know why I would ever go back to store-bought brands again.
I highly recommend a color consultation if you are located near an eSalon! I booked a custom color appointment at the El Segundo salon. The color specialist immediately began to check out my hair, and asked questions about what I liked, what I color I am looking for, what my daily habits are, etc. Nicole recommended a certain blend & mixed the color for me, and proceeded to show me what I need to do at home. She took time to explain what I'd receive in a kit, how to apply the product, and what to do afterward. She blow dried my hair, gave me some styling tips, and offered some products that may help with my styling needs.

After a few adjustments on each Custom Colour made for me, the most recent mix is exactly what I was looking for & I am extremely pleased with the result. My hairdresser was very impressed as well so I shall, therefore, be continuing with this mix for the foreseeable future.

I read the reviews about this service but I still had cold feet. I finally decided to take the plunge and use this service. Best decision I have made in awhile ! This formula was non damaging and gentle to my hair. I will say I have never had such vibrant realistic color since I first started coloring my hair. This service is a keeper. If you are concerned about fragile hair I should tell you I have several health conditions that cause my hair to be delicate along with certain medications I must take daily. I had no problems at all. Hope this helps !

Really like this color. Despite my hair being mostly grey, when it is colored the golden tones were coming through making it too light after a few washes. I needed to stay in Dark Blonde range, (Browns are too dark) so this change, made in October has really helped. Like it so much better. It took attention and correspondence, you can't expect to hit it right the first time through and you worked with me to achieve this. Thank you.
It's hard to believe how good this product is! The color is very vibrant and deep (mine is medium brown).

I have to admit I was very skeptical at first with coloring my roots at home. But after following the simple instructions, I was very pleasantly surprised with the results. The color was perfectly matched to my current color, so it did not look like that “just got your hair colored” look. Plus, there was no lingering odor after washing and my hair looked shiny and felt soft. It was fast, easy, and I was able to do it in my own home the night before work the next day! I’m very pleased with my results!!

The hair coloring system is quite easy to use. I like the fact that you can adjust your color at any time. I found the product easier on your hair than other dyes
I really love everything about this product. This hair color has no smell, makes my hair shiny and soft and smell good too!, it also lasts longer then store bought.
I was happily surprised at the vibrancy of this color. I feel my personal colorist really listened to my preferences and created a color that well suits me. It's a little dark/bold at this time, however I feel like it will mellow out in a few washes as reds always do. I really like the color and products that come with it, and will be setting up an auto-ship for my color. Thank you!
I love this color. Matched well it makes my hair shiny. I did however have gray show up by my ears by the first time I washed my hair though. I followed the instructions?
I loved everything about it, the fact that there was plenty of colour for my long hair, the accessories, how my hair felt super soft rather than it's usual dried self after colouring and all of this for the same price as buying 2 over the counter hair dye which is super damaging for your hair.

I loved it but I ordered to dark a color and had put my orders on hold until I can strip the color from my hair first to go back to a lighter color. Fully intend resume at that point. Good job esalon!!😊

The color made for me was EXACTLY what I was looking for, when I first ordered I thought it might be too light but with the little information I gave you about my hair you did exactly what i wanted thanks so much.
The color turned out great! I will however, need to leave my color on my roots a bit longer than recommended. I am gray. When it was time to rinse out the color before washing, the color
rinsed out easily. And there was no left over color smell. The shampoo and conditioner fragrance is great! So for me this is for sure a grand slam! Great job eSalon!
I had chosen a target color and received an email later that same day from my color care team letting me know they felt the color I had chosen would be too dark. They modified it and shipped the adjusted color. My new color matched my natural color perfectly!
My color is perfect. It is exactly what I wanted and looks like I spent $100+ on it at a salon. It was the perfect shade and saved me loads of time and money. The shampoo and conditioner included were so good I am buying some for regular use. I highly recommend this system if you want to have hair that looks like a million bucks without paying a million bucks!
This is a great in-between appointments option!! Saves me money buying me weeks longer between regular stylist visits and works really well.

The color turned out so beautiful. I've gotten so many compliments about how perfect the color goes with my skin tone. I was a little nervous because what I chose was quite different for me. But I absolutely love it! I had lots of gray in my hair and always have had trouble covering it with other at home coloring brands but this did great! It does contain ammonia since you have to have that in order for it to be a permanent color application so just thought you should know that since that has a very distinct smell. Be sure to follow the instructions about finishing it in the shower by adding water to the mixing bowl or bottle and mixing together then pouring it over your hair and massaging for 2 to 3 minutes. Very important. When you go to rinse it you may think it feels like it's not rinsing but just pay attention to the fact that the color is fully rinsed when the water runs clear and use the shampoo and conditioner and those will wash out any residue. I was a little clumsy with pouring the water mixture over my head but I'll do better at it as I get used to doing it. I've had my color done for a week and still love it!
I’ve been a strawberry blonde / redhead all my life. My hair started going gray in my late 30’s and it was impossible to find a hair color off the shelf that looked natural. Professional coloring was super expensive and I don’t have the time to sit at the salon or forecast out my schedule. Found eSalon on Facebook and gave it a shot and have been a fan since. Just ordered a full size of the conditioner and I’m so excited to use it on a regular basis as I love the way my hair feels when I use the packet that comes with the coloring kit!
Just did my roots only touch up. The color is great! Explained that my hair grabs color and turns dark fast and pulls a red cast very easily. The formulation that my colorist mixed did none of those! Very happy and will continue!!
I cannot begin to tell you how beautiful my light lab highlights are! So easy to use. Great instructions & no awful fumes from the mixture A+! Always love my root color as well, seeing I have a full head of grays to cover. You have saved me hundreds of dollars :) ps the shampoo with the light lab kit smells amazing too
My medium copper red got so many compliments right away. I used two colors, one for roots and one for existing, and they blend perfectly. My hair didnt get all dried out and fade out quickly like a drug store color would in past. Looking forward to trying other products. This mail order is so much easier than spending 30 minutes in the store trying to decide which color on my own!!!

My grey roots are fully covered and the custom color looks great. My hair is shiny and the darker color from another product looks a little lighter as I wanted. At my age darker hair makes me appear hard. I'm not young so I wanted to look my age, but not fake. The custom color made just for me looks so good. Thank you so much. I'm hoping to lighten as time goes on. Love the stain guard and stain remover.
The entire process was easy to use with clear directions. My daughter applied the color for me and it turned out beautifully. I’ve had it in for 3 weeks now. I have hard-to-color grays so I’ve been watching carefully. While the color is still vibrant, I can see a few stubborn grays whose color appears to have slid off, but overall I’m loving my color. The colorists developed the perfect shade for me based on a photo I submitted.
This is my first experience with eSalon. I submitted my requested color, and the Colorist (Paul) came back with a suggestion for a color that might be a better match. I took his suggestion and was glad I did. The result is PERFECT! I compared it with my prior professional salon applied color and the eSalon dye and it is virtually the same. Thanks Paul!!!
