I'm loving the neutral dark brown shade it covered all my grays and color looks really natural and compliments my skin tone the kit is really nice comes w everything the customer service is awesome I just had my husband help me w the back of my hair much more affordable than going to a salon and I like the convenience of doing it at home w a product that is much better than box dye
When I was applying I thought the root would be too dark but I trusted the process and when it was developed the results are amazing. It looks done professionally and I’m going to keep purchasing love it
I have been a client since 2020 and's it the best color you can get. To me it’s better than the salon cuz it covers all of my gray and then some. It’s rich in color, it’s easy, convenient and better yet cost effective! I love it

The color was spot on! I am loving it so much that I think I'm going to forever keep my hair this color. My only concern with this color is how quickly it starts to fade out.
I was having an issue with my color being too dark but my stylist addressed my concern and I loved the result! However, what really impressed me was the customer service! I had forgot to change my shipping address when I moved & my color got sent to my old address. I emailed to let them know and without even a response had another order in the mail to the correct address. It’s a great hair service with great service!
I must admit that I was a little nervous to color my own hair but I went for it!! So glad I did! My color came out perfect.. I couldn't ask for any better. It sure beats paying a high price at a salon.
I have to say I was a skeptic, I dye my hair so often I wasn't sure if esalon could add anything to that process but I must admit when I am wrong!
Easy to follow instructions, nice kit of accessories and my hair feels amazing after! Also instead of just the mundane feeling of putting another dye on, I really enjoyed the special feel of the process! Super pleased with result 😀
Wondered what all the hype was about - well the product is lovely. It has taken to my hair very well and the end result is a colour I'm really pleased with.
I really love this color. I was afraid that it would be flat, but when I was finished and I blew dried my hair, the color was fantastic, my hair was so soft and there were subtle highlights. I just love this color. Thanks to my colorist Genvieve for getting it on point.
I use esalon mainly for covering my gray hair. This time the the effect is great and my hair is smooth and shiny with the desired hair color. It covered the gray well, thanks to the stylist changing the instruction and formula after my first time use resulting in an unsatisfactory result. I appreciate very much for modifying the formula for me.
I have been so pleased with E salon and the results I’m getting by doing my hair myself, it’s brilliant .
It’s fairly easy to do,and saves me so much money .

Not only was the colour the exact colour match to my natural roots, it was creamy, thick and smelled so good! I loved the richness of the formula.
I was scared at first because it looked really dark but once it was rinsed out it was PERFECT :)

I normally do not leave reviews because I'm pretty lazy...........And I'm used to spending $150-$200 for hair color, and even then I'm not satisfied and have just learned to be ok with what I've gotten. I ordered my color from here and waited several days to apply....because once again I'm lazy.....and decided to color my hair before work this morning. I LOVE it! It was incredibly easy, especially for a lazy person, it turned out perfect! I love the color, I love the tone, I love everything about it. I don't have to settle for something and hope that some will washes out soon so it will look more natural. I am a travel nurse and have a hard time finding someone to color my hair on my schedule. This is better than any best case scenario.
I am not one to write a review but with this amazing transformation I must! I had been spending hundreds every 7 weeks to go to a salon and have my hair colored/ highlighted. I was never that impressed with how it came out. I did my profile and called my consultant and had her add some golden and copper to my next hair color. It arrived lightning fast from CA. To NH. I waited a couple of days to say goodbye to my blond highlights that I definitely spent hundreds on over the last year. Today I colored my hair! It was extremely easy and I have to say that I am beyond happy with my results. THANK YOU ESALON! You have won me over for your excellence in color correction! I finally have the color I want. Thank you so much for your time and expertise on my updated color. I’ve been with you since 2014 and in 2023 decided to go to a salon in my area for a cut and a new look with my color. I went 3 times. They did really well the first time but had almost turned my hair blond by the 3rd time. I came back to eSalon and told you what I wanted and Oh My Gosh! I simply sent a pic, explained what color I was hoping for and it turned out better than I even expected. I don’t know how you did it. I’m so happy! It’s back to my more regular color with a hint of Ash which I love because I’m getting older and needed to blend the gray. It’s been 3 weeks and I got a nice compliment this morning from my daughter saying how she loves my color.

Have been using eSalon for 6 years now and have only had professional results. Even my hairdresser commented on how good my colour was and was visibly surprised when I said I’d done it at home! Have saved so much money and only go to hairdresser for a trim now.
First time trying e salon. You can definitely tell it's not a box colour. The texture and cover of the dye is great. Really easy process. Can't wait for my next box.

I chose not to use the highlights at this time as I felt there would not be enough contrast ( maybe better when hair color slightly darker). Great product, reasonably priced.
I love the product specially how it leaves my hair after. This is the 3rd time I dye my hair with eSalon and I still love it. Super easy to apply and the videos are so helpful. I really recommend it.
Not only do they include absolutely everything needed to do my roots, when I wanted to go a bit lighter for summertime, they adjusted my “recipe” accordingly. I use the bottle for 3 applications as it’s just my very, very grey roots that need done every 3 weeks. Highly recommended!!

I am living on a fixed income until my health hopefully gets better and I'm willing to put aside something else to be able to buy this instead of store bought brands. The personalized color they send is absolutely beautiful and unlike any other I've tried. Not only because of the gorgeous color but it makes my hair noticeably more healthy looking. I say noticeably because of the compliments I've gotten when used. Certainly happy to send ppl that ask about my hair color to esalon because woman should build each other up and what a great way to help do so than to give them the knowledge on esalon. Really great experience!
Tried whilst my usual stylist went on maternity leave. Reticent at first however, my husband (temporary colourist) 😉 and I were very impressed with the results. Furthermore, during a recent salon trip for a cut my temporary stylist she couldn’t believe how lovely my hair colour was and said she must ask my usual stylist how she got such a fabulous result. I didn’t have the heart to tell her who the credit went to so I thought I’d share here instead!
Suffice to say, my husband is now my new permanent colourist. The best blended colour ever. Totally matched my highlighted re-growth. Tip, send in a photo as I think it really does help the colourist get the correct blend & finish.

eSalon listens and they get it just right. Amazing gray coverage and color. Very simple to use and love that they offer ammonia free color. So much better than spending a fortune at a salon with sub par service and results.

After I had this last color adjustment. (that’s 14 adjustments in 8 years) the color is a nice stand out Auburn. It has just enough med brown, copper, and red mix. It truly is a color worth headlines

I love eSalon. The color is exactly what I wanted to match my natural color. They even adjusted my color to cover more of my grey as it became more prevalent. The weekly conditioner is amazing too. My hair gets really frizzy with even a small bit of humidity and this really works to keep it soft and shiny. I usually use it more than once a week because it makes my hair look really healthy and not dry or frizzy. Thank you eSalon!

I have been searching for this color for ages. I just said what I wanted and that was it.A few days later I received it in the mail in beautiful custom box. I will never use any other product again when it comes to coloring my hair 😍
I am over the moon. My auburn hair has been my pride since I was a little kid. Now that I'm getting grays and whites, I was so scared to dye my hair. My color specialist was amazing and so thorough. My hair color is perfect. No weird pink or purple tones. It's like she managed to figure out my exact hair color. And my hair feels AMAZING! I used the demi-permanent with a brush to just cover grays. I followed directions and did the color rinse to blend. It's perfect. Thank you! You have no idea how happy I am that I found eSalon!
After plenty of advice from my expert colourist , I opted for a dark blonde to cover greys and add a healthy shine. Once applied, the colour was darker than imagined but my friend added some very fine blonde highlights which made a great difference to the overall appearance and shade. I'm so pleased with the overall quality and finish of my hair. A lovely shine achieved and greys gone! Next time, I would like my colour a lighter shade of blonde but for my 1st attempt without a hairdresser, I'm so delighted and intend to continue using eSalon for future purchases.

My brown hair turns reddish with any salon or boxed color. My eSalon color is perfectly matched to my hair, and I have no red when I use it. I have been a customer for ten years.
My colorist Andrea was amazing. She really listened and I finally have the perfect colour...brown base with some red tones.
My hair feels silky and is shiny.
Only suggestion is I'd love some sulfate, silicone and paraben free shampoos and conditioners to be offered.

I LOVE the colors chosen for me. I filled out and attached a photo and received a email telling me the color I choose would not be the most complimentary and my stylist was adjusting a few things. Now of course, if I didn't like what they chose they would fix it....I LOVE IT. I actually received two colors, which I have never done myself before. It was so easy and came out so awesome. I have gotten so many compliments. I will definitely be getting this again.
This is my first time using e-Salon and I’m delighted with the results! My hair had previously been balayaged and my roots had grown in so was great to be given a root colour as well as a mid-lengths and ends colour. Was really easy to apply and the result is gorgeous! Managed to keep the tonal high and lowlights, the root blends in really well to the lengths, and it’s made my hair lovely and shiny. My hairdresser commented on how good it looked so happy to have her approval!

I love using this hair color kit as I like that it is customized for me.. I also like the auto shipping as it saves me a trip to the salon I also like the recommendations I get for other products to use to enhances my color even further.. Great purchase
My husband cut my hair in a Bob and after putting eSalon custom color on the new cut I received so many compliments. The quality of products made my hair so shiny and healthy. My husband is an engineer and thought the instructions were easy to follow. We are both retired now, with the help of eSalon I want to return to having the beautiful healthy hair I had with eSalon. Just ordered and I am very excited about my new look❣️
I was a bit sceptical about this as I have a lot of grey and my hair was already dyed blonde, so I didn't know how the dye would react with my hair. When applied, the dye was an awful lot darker than the one I usually used, which was a bit alarming, however once it was washed off and dried the colour was perfect. I still had some grey showing through but it looked natural rather than uncared-for. My hair was lovely and soft and overall I am very pleased with it. Will definitely be ordering again!
Loved the custom packaging first of all. The way they have 2 bottles, one for roots and one for ends is genius. And it's the closest I've ever begin to get to my natural color. Looking natural itself. People don't think k I even cor my hair!!

Gorgeous shiny and rich shade. Lasts long..if only my hair didn’t grow so fast to let the roots show. Much shinier than regular box colour. Colourist can adjust shade as you request it.
The convenience of using this hair color is almost as great as the product itself. Great, rich color that covers grays 100% and is relatively easy to use makes this hair color the one for me! Not having to choose between boxes in a store isle and having this product chosen for me is a huge bonus.
I have colored my hair twice now and had great results both times! The color distributed evenly and looks like I’ve been to the salon. I love that you can customize your own color with your stylist.
I am so happy with my custom color because it turned out exactly how my naturally red hair was 10 years ago! I went through hxxx trying to get my natural color and totally messed up my hair. I was about to pay $450 to get my color back but then I tried esalon… I’m in tears to have my grays covered and my beautiful red hair again!

Brilliant, roots was so long and ends alone darker than roots thought it would look patchy, how wrong was I, fantastic all over colour, doesn't stain brow or ears or neck like other dyes, Deffo keeping my subscription, thank you
I asked that my color be re-worked because I was spending a lot of time outside and up in the mountains. I asked that my color be lightened and added a bit more gold and no pearl. Previous color was pearl mahogany, now it is a beautiful reddish copper, which I love! Thank you so much to Stephanie S (my colorist) and to Silvia as well!!!
I stopped using this brand years ago because I wasn't getting the desired results. I changed to another brand and lately was not happy with theirs either. I decided to give Esalon another try. They recommended I go with Demi-permanent since I was trying to grow out my gray! I can’t say enough about the color. It’s amazing!! Super coverage and beautiful shine!! It’s been four weeks, and the color looks no different than when I put it on. I have no line of demarcation because it fades ever so slightly and seems to blend the gray, so it’s not that obvious growing in.
