My original color seemed to be 1/2 a shade too dark for my taste so I asked for it to be altered and they adjusted it and it was simply perfect! eSalon makes the whole process so simple! It's fantastic!!!
I loved my new colour. The kit was easy to use, the shampoo and conditioner were wonderful and the colour itself was great. The response from the team is also quick. The only small negative is that the colour washes out quite quickly and becomes a bit dull. But i am looking forward to the next order.
I go to 'Jose Evers once every 6 months to Shannon! It cost too much to do my roots there every 6 weeks and I'm too busy. The color here is thee exact SAME saving me a lot of $!

I love this product, with the store product by 4 weeks you could already see my grey roots, with this hair color you can just barely see the grey at 8 weeks.
I normally go to the salon for color, and this color doesn't look any different. So, it's a great match for my roots. As others have mentioned, it's kind of sticky after washing out, but I have dense hair so I probably didn't get a decent amount of shampoo for my hair.
I have very long med-dark brown hair that has gotten quite a lot of grey. But, it's not pretty silver all over grey, it's clumps in the strangest of places! People keep telling me I have paint in my hair!! I tried eSalon, took me a while to get around to it, it shipped very fast. When I finally took the plunge, OMG, I love it. I texted to my girlfriends the before and the after and they all loved it!! My mousy hair is back to a beautiful auburn brown, and the greys turned a lovely golden and auburn. It makes my hair look so natural. I was told by the dentist that I was having a fantastic hair day! Didn't think it was a dye job!
I sent a comment about lightening the brown up a bit, and turning up the red, just a hair (ha ha ha). I can't wait to try the new formula, in 2 parts, one for regrowth and one for rest to keep it from fading (as all other dye jobs have in the past, until I'm blond by the end of the summer!) Love it!!! Should have started sooner!!
Really liked the color! It was quite dark for a few days but after a couple washes has grown into a beautiful color. I believe I may spend too much time in application ~20-25 minutes.

I heard from other co-workers how they loved eSalon. Being a hair colorist many years ago and knowing that the store bought product is not salon quality, I thought I would give eSalon a try. I was tired of spending $45.00-$125.00 for hair color/ highlights, but at my age there is too much gray to avoid hair coloring. I know how difficult gray coverage can be and made sure I emphasized this when placing my order. The process was so easy and uncomplicated. I sent current pictures to my eSalon colorist (Danielle) and advised her on what results I was looking for. We proceeded to share a few emails making sure I was comfortable with the color formula she was creating. The kit has everything you need and the packaging is all high quality. They send you a "portfolio" of your color formula in the kit and it is also available electronically. I loved the color and gray coverage however, I was looking for a tad bit more red. I advised eSalon of this via email and the next day had a confirmation email stating they made the change. How much easier can this get, really? I highly recommend this company if you are looking for personal professional service.
My review earlier was before I was out in public. I had so many compliments. I do want to keep my same color.

I am a natural redhead over the years my hair has become white , I choose not to be a silver hair lady. Since I have been using Salon color my hair is so close to my natural color without turning a brassy red. Thank you for giving me my color back
I was spending $30 a month buying a spray root covering.
Now I spend $25 every two months with esalon color.
It’s easy to use, my husband doesn’t mind helping me with it.
I use the shampoo and conditioner to keep my color lasting longer and the conditioner to help keep my hair manageable I would recommend both for good hair maintenance.
My color is now a sandy red, less bright than it was recently. I really like the shift, and since I usually color only the new growth and blend it through the first half of my hair, the ends are lightening gradually to make to color very natural. Great!
I travel extensively for work and it’s very difficult to be able to get to my hairdresser, so the fact that I receieve this easy, customized hair color to my home is great!

This shade was a little darker than I want. It almost seems to have some reddish highlights. I want more blondish than a darker shade. The color is excellent as far as quality, the way your hair feels and no areas that were not colored. Thank You Dot Thompson
I'm a strawberry blonde and my hair has dulled a bit since entering my 30s. Nothing drastic, but enough for me to notice. I've tried stylist after stylist in an attempt to bring my hair back to life. But the color was never quite right. Too blonde, too rosy, too RED, too pink, ugh. This formula is perfect. Words cannot express. My hair is now the color it was when I was in highschool. I've found my forever color. Don't ever leave me esalon.

I was worried this would be just like box color. It wasn't. It was true to the color I asked for. I did notice it did have a lighter or different color on the grays. Still way better than boxes!
I requested that my color be modified and sent a picture of my daughter’s red hair color next to mine. Both in bright Florida sun. My request was to get a color between the two. See my new photo. Good job, just as requested!
Even after weeks of color, it never turns brassy. My hair shines for weeks, the only reason it needs to be reapplied is to cover the gray roots! Amazing!
My hair is so ridiculously thick every time I went to a salon to get cut/color it was upwards of $300 or more and my hair always felt weighed down and heavy with no bounce afterwards .. A friend turned me onto eSalon and its been the best thing yet .. let's face it ladies when we want to change or freshen our look the 1st thing we change is our hair color or style .. with eSalon the prices are reasonable and you get a much much better product than the $5 box brand at the local grocery store ! With the help of my stylist with eSalon I got a color more crisp and bright than my own natural color and it looks fantabulous ! eSalon you have a client for life and I tell everyone I know about you :)
I was a little worried at first, the #1 bottle looked so brown, but the #2 bottle was a gorgeous red, and it came out looking so natural even real redheads think it's my true hair color
I love the color. It is exactly what I wanted and lasts for about a month. If it wasn't for having to touch up the hair around the sides of my face it would be perfect!!

Copper blonde .. beautiful color.. rich.. much better than the box color I was using .. preference lightest auburn.. as i aged the preference just didn't work for me and was causing a lot of damage.. Ive only colored once with E salon but will be touching up within a week I hope all goes well.
I’ve been using your color products for about a year now. After many years of high end salons and the endless hours spent along with cost I can’t say enough. About your company and products. Five stars do not say enough need to add more stars!
This was my first time coloring my hair. I could not believe the results. It looked like I had it done in the salon. I am now considering doing highlights for the summer.
With this product, I never worry that I have a color line, or that my color makes me look like i'm trying to be twenty years old again. Consistent, subtle color.
I hadn't noticed the positive impact on my hair until recently. I was traveling quite a bit so didn't color for over 2 months. My hair was frizzy and difficult to manage despite using my usual hair products. When I finally got home and colored it, everything wnt back to normal... shiny, soft and bouncy!
Every single time I've gotten my hair done at a salon, I end up walking out so disappointed. I am literally still trying to color correct a bad dye job from a "professional" over a year ago. I received my order and was very excited to give this a try and become my very own beautian. I read all the directions and got to work. I love the pre facial/hair-line slime. I recommend using it all up. Coat your entire neck and a 2 inch perimeter around your hair line. I'll can now tell you I made a big mess. Do not leave your phone on the corner where you are working. Do not try to pick up your phone after you have begun. And yes bleach wipes will take the dye off all other surfaces. (Floor, sink, counter top, shower walls..)
OK step 1 pour 1 bottle with large mouth into squeeze bottle with small mouth.
I was concerned i would make a mess so I moved the bottles into the sink before combining. I didn't spill a single drop. Figures.
Section off hair and begin back to front. This feels weird working back to front but worked out ok. I like the squeeze bottle for the roots. It made applying easy. I ended up separating my hair into 6 sections. My hair is very thick. I love the real gloves. These are not the gloves the cafeteria lady wears. And there are 2 pair. By the way I needed 3 pair.
OK on to the second color
I had no idea how to apply the color to the length. I looked on the directions for a Web site or YouTube link. Just a phone number. Crap. OK I'll squirt and soak. The brush made for a barbie doll is not going to work in my hair.
I was concerned I would run out of color but there was plenty. I even had a sufficient amount to add water shake and saturate.
I wasn't prepared for the odor of this salon hair color.
Half way through I decided to change my clothes and put on a dark robe. Thank you husband. I completed the last step in the shower. Due to the red color, my bathroom looks like a murder scene but my hair looks pretty good.
I'm not thrilled with the dark brown roots. I'm looking forward to a follow-up tweak in my color.
Comes to your door, no guessing what color to buy, anything you need is included even a label to hold the instructions on your mirror. Where have you been all my life? :)
Even though I’ve never shied away from color from a box, I was a little hesitant at first just because I wasn’t sure if the color was going to match what I previously had done at the salon (I went from blonde to red.) I was so surprised when the color ended up matching EXACTLY what I had gotten done. Not only was the color amazing, but it didn’t smell too strong nor did it make my scalp itch. I have been sold on this service and will be a client for a little big time!! THANK YOU!!!

I started using eSalon about a year ago. I was immediately impressed. Recently I felt my color changed and I asked for different tones. I didn't feel like they matched what I wanted HOWEVER I voiced my concern and customer care was all over it and sent me another formula. They matched it dead on. Seriously how many of us try to accomplish this with a hairdresser and pay way too much money and let it slide because we know them! Get on board with this company and their customer service and you'll never forget it. Peggy
Hallelujah! I've purposely waited to give this review because I wanted to make sure this color wouldn't turn RED on my hair. I am SO AMAZED. I have paid BIG BUCKS for hair color, but everything it seems has the same results -- my hair eventually developing a red hue which I hated. I specifically requested when ordering from eSalon that it wouldn't have red in the formula and they have delivered. This color matches my natural color exactly with NO RED! I've ordered about 4 times and each formula is exact with no variance in the color. I am so pleased. Thank you, eSalon!
Growing up a Redhead was not popular in the 80s, as The Gingers are now. But if a man liked your red hair, he was hooked. After having our children, my hair started greying, I work outside so the sun lightens whatever color I put on it. The reds you can purchase in a store NEVER look natural. The last thing a man in love with a red head wants is a blonde or florescent copper! My husband and I were both Blown Away by how authentically red my hair is now. I noticed with my second shipment that the color appeared more brassy. I contacted salon and they adjusted the color. This last application was perfect.
First thing I noticed was the two tone coverage I had been searching for in a color treatment. My sister notched right away. As we age, we would like our hair to be the same color as it was when younger.
Having seen this advertised in a glossy magazine I thought I'd give it a look .
After filling in the questionnaire and then explaining what colour I would like to achieve my colourist Paul contacted me the same day asking for a photo of my current colour .
My hair is very fine , blonde with ashy undertones and a good amount of grey at the front and sides .
Paul mixed up my colour which was roots then rinse through then I was sent an email saying it was shipped .
The box arrived 2 weeks later ....inside was the cute bottle of colour , developer and gloves . Also included were a sachets of shampoo , conditioner, colour remover and stain guard oh and a brush for application.
I followed the instructions to the letter has never home coloured my hair before it's always at a salon which costs 90 pounds ever 6 weeks .
After a 35 minute wait after application I was left with shiny , ash blonde , multi tonal hair. All grey was banished 😀 Infact I have contacted Paul to ask for a small tweak on the ash and that's it .
Perfect one happy customer i wish I'd tried the service earlier .

If you have colored your hair as long as I have and the cost of a salon is too much. This is for you. It’s the real deal and my hair didn’t feel wiry like it does from store color.
Rich, Vibrant, and Radiant Hair Color that accents your skin tone. My first two orders were off by a bit. I emailed the color stylist, who tweaked it to my specifications, and now I have my favorite color that gently covers grays.
I haven’t tried the shampoo yet. Want to use up the old before opening new bottle. If it is the same as the packets used in the color kit. I know I’ll love it.
This product is easy to apply, they take what you want into consideration. It is cheaper then going to an actual salon and looks BETTER! Customer services doesn't treat you like a silly child.
Every time in my life I have tried dying my own hair it has turned coppertop. I have a lot of natural red highlights in my hair so it always pulls warmer tones. My most recent visit to a salon left me horrified at the results because they wouldn’t listen to me!
eSalon is different! They listened to me. The colorist even called me to make sure they had all the information they needed to create the right color for me.
I love E-Salon! They are so accommodating about everything. I've changed my hair color order just about every time because I couldn't decide which shade I liked... and I ended up going with the original darkest brown after all my indecisiveness. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I end up throwing out so much extra dye since I have a pixie cut. It's wasteful to me.

The whole process of deciding a custom colour is really simple and extremely thorough; it takes you through a consultation, as if you were with a stylist “in real life”. You choose your current hair colour status, mine being all over colour, what type of dye you use, when you last used hair dye, hair length and grey coverage all the way through to your ethnicity, eye colour through to your hair colour history.
SUPER THOROUGH. Theres an option to upload a photo of yourself so that the mixologists can have a better look at what they are working with. Once I had decided from the myriad of colours available, I chose, paid and waited. The next day I received a phone call to discuss the options I had chosen and to double check that’s exactly what I was after, and they were so helpful and knowledgable it put me at ease.
When the package arrived it contained everything you could possible need, and not think of! Gloves, mixer as standard but also with some wipes and a dye barrier, which you just rub around your hairline so you don’t get that awkward spackle or thick line where the dye has sat!
The colour was perfect, the application was seamless, although the only thing I will say is that my bottle of mix was screwed on so tight that I had to use scissors to cut it, but it had been out in the cold all morning so I assume that had something to do with it!
Would thoroughly recommend this service; you get the quality of product and service you would in a salon with the guarantee of a colour you will love, which is as you know never certain with a standard box dye!
I recently got my first subscription order. I had just gotten done with a very disappointing experience with another online subscription hair color service (M.R.) and had seen other people had good luck with esalon. I have colored black hair, with natural mousy brown as a base. I went through the options and based on the colorists suggestion went with the soft black intense pearl. The delivery came very quickly and included a warmer gloss for my ends, as a freebie. Awesome surprise! After doing the color, (including the gloss!) I can say that I havent loved my color this much in years, if EVER! The color is deep and intense but also soft and natural. I RARELY ever write reviews on products but this is one that I felt I must. My hair feels healthy and shiny and the color makes me so happy to see every day!! I feel like this is the start of a beautiful relationship-haha!!
My first color was a red brown and at first I liked it, it was different and fun, but it faded a little too orangey for me and I ended up not liking the red so much for me. I asked my colorist to switch to a medium golden brown and I knew that the red would still show through because it was so very red but she nailed it. It’s a wonderful medium golden brown with red just showing through. She noted that she was toning out the copper and it worked out perfectly. I’m super impressed. Perfectly blended color and so easy to do from home. I’ll never go back to boxed dyes from the store.
This is my second application, first was all over 2nd was just touch up, no fading in the color stays beautiful, Will continue to use and never go back to a box
