I am amazed to have exactly the shade I want with the grey coverage I need. The directions are easy to follow and let you recolor without having the too dark obvious ends that often happen when coloring at home.
I am very happy with the results I get after coloring my hair. I am over 50 and color just doesn't want to stay in my hair longer than 3wks. This color system allows me to go up to 5wks without a touch up.
This is the best hair color I have ever used and I have been coloring my hair since I was 14 years old. I love the convenience of home delivery and that I can customize it or change it anytime I want!
I love my color, best of all it saves me time and money. While I'm waiting for time to rinse, I can work on something else I need to do. I couldn't be happier.

This is the second version of custom hair color that eSalon prepare for me and although I had to adjust the timing (less time) to avoid blocky monocolor 'helmet-like' hair - I am very happy with the end result. Plus the support team gave me a neat trick if I go overboard - which involves using a cleasing shampoo neat to break up the excess colour...
I did my roots to cover my grays and it is just perfect. I am never happy with box color and I got out of the shower this time...looked in the mirror and I was blown away by the results. Already sent pics to everyone telling them to order!
The color made for me is exactly what I've been looking for, it gave my hair a natural look. The coverage blended my roots and previously dyed hair seamlessly.

I've been very impressed with how eSalon has colorists help choose what mixture of pigments will get the customer (Me!) to the hair color we want. Kudos for this method! Outstanding color. Very economical and the color of a colorist. Highly recommend that you try it, especially since the color is matched for the individual.
I do like the way you can achieve the exact colour you want but it does smell very strong and does dry the scalp so I try not to use too often. The conditioner does help and leaves hair very shiny.
I love the that I do not have to go stare at the wall of color at stores every time its time to do the gray cover-up deed. Going to a salon gets pricey and at the rate my gray pops out I would be broke. The color is great, the price is affordable, and the convenience is even better!

I was very impressed with the kit and instructions. I did get concerned when my hair started to get stiff, but I think it was because I was taking too long to cover my hair. It rinsed very well and did not bleed alot after. I wish I would have picked a lighter shade, but I really wanted a violet tint. Overall, I was happy with this product.
I love my new hair color and this product! Even when I had a problem with my first order you were extremely helpful ond only concerned with making me happy...you did!

I was a bit nervous having read the reviews of some. I took my time reading through everything delivered and waited to apply when I wasn't going to be interrupted or rushed. I followed the instructions to apply to roots then emulsify to ends. The result is great just what I wanted. Shampoo conditioner great too. Hoping it will last well. Will use again.

Hair color is divine perfection. I love the liberty of using it at home as I have a busy schedule and sitting in a salon for hours on end every few weeks is not my idea of "Productive." The colorist are amazing at matching your color and I love the ability to fit coloring my hair into my schedule on a moments notice vs sitting in a salon. Highly recommend your custom color from EColor.
I like the personal service and the fact that it comes straight to my home. No more guessing in the color aisle at the store or finding out that the color I need is out of stock. My personal color that is mixed is spot on too!
Highlights just showed up in my hair. Great coverage. I don't know why I stopped receiving the second bottle to rinse through my hair. Was that part of the new formulation? After 3 weeks still looks great, although I always have gray hair on the sides of my hair when the new box arrives.
I was very pleased with the result of my eSalon Haircolor. I'm very sensitive to many boxed brands of haircolor & even salon mixed hair color sometimes; but when I tried my e-Salon haircolor, I did not have a reaction to it such as itching on my scalp, hairline, etc. The color was perfect (Medium Golden Brown) since it was dark enough to cover my roots & it also made my hair very shiny & soft. I will continue to use this same formulation I have now. I highly recommend eSalon vs. other brands & I'm really glad I tried it!
This was my second order from Esalon and I could not be happier. No change in the color but I did have to move up my auto ship order and they sent out the kit promptly. I received it 4 days later. All of this has been a wonderful experience and the color is perfect. Thank you to everyone involved in this whole process!

I absolutely love how my hair color came out!! The instructions were very clear and the products were easy to use. The color is so rich and beautiful! The after care products left my hair feeling so soft and it was amazingly shiny! Since using this hair color, I have not experienced the normal drying and brittle feel to dyed hair. I know that going dark the color will fade a bit, and it has, but overall I am extremely satisfied and will be continuing my subscription!
Tried a slightly different colour this time, had the red tones enhanced. Really pleased with results, the colour is just what I wanted, almost the same shade as my original hair colour when I was a teenager. The shine seemed to be extra glossy too. All in all very pleased and would recommend to anyone looking to colour their hair, far better than the colours available in the local stores.
I've never been happy with the hair color selections at the drugstore. My hair is dark brown, but the choices at the store were always too dark or too light. None of them gave me just a little of auburn that I love so much. I finally took the plunge and ordered Custom Hair Color from eSalon. I've never been happier! Easy to use, great grey coverage, and I finally have the fabulous auburn highlights that make my dark hair look alive.
The best part of working with eSalon is that they coached me about which color to choose. This is a great option to having your hair color done at a salon. Even my hairstylist commented on what a great color my hair is! When I told her about eSalon she explained that there is a difference between store bought color and salon color because the store bought color has to be general enough to color any hair but salon color is specific to you and your needs. So, eSalon is the best of both worlds, it's not as pricey as going to the salon but it's also specific to you!!

I used to color my hair all the time with store bought products. Always been blonde. Sometimes golden, light, darker and very light. Then I started going to salons getting highlights with a few lowlights, which is what I love!!! I just can't afford it anymore. So far I'm very happy with the light blond. Wishing I could put highlights in it😊 Julie
People often ask, why not just run to the store and buy a box when i need to dye my hair?? Because this has salon professional results, unlike any box ive ever bought at the store thats why! And my darkest brown NEVER looks like a witchy black for the 1st week! And it matches my natural color like no other.
The second time I have used this product and again it didn't let me down. Covered my grew roots and left my hair looking great with a lovely shine and it felt great. Everyone commented how healthy my hair looked.
Thought the color was very nice with very soft and natural looking highlights. I appreciate the fact that changes can be made to the formula as ones needs change.

I love how easy E Salon makes this process. I don't have a flexible schedule to schedule a salon visit every 6-8 weeks and am tired of paying over $100 to maintain my hair color. I have finally tried the hair color despite the concerns from the colorist on account of it being too light. I followed the instructions and it was easy. The color turned out great.Thank you Jennifer!!! The hair feels great, not fried and it looks more natural than it did before. BTW I used the plastic container the color came in (the box with gloves/etc.) to mix the color and developer in and used the brush supplied for the easiest application.

After discovering eSalon, I have been using my individually created colour for some months.....and love it! So easy to use, beautifully packaged, and superb, lasting results and shine. It's the most natural result that I have achieved with a hair colourant. Does exactly what I want it to do as it covers all grey, enhances condition and the colour is spot-on.

I color my grey roots a darker blonde and have my hair professionally colored with highlights and lowlights twice a year. The colorist blended a blonde that is not too dark, not too red, not too ash, but a perfect color to blend with my professional low lights. Yes, it is more expensive than buying color at the drug store. However I have never been able to find a drugstore color so perfectly matched or one that totally covers the grey and lasts without fading to some off color that doesn't exist in nature. I can't say enough positive things about eSalon. I am totally happy with their products, their colorist, customer service, and ease of ordering.
Color itself doesn't smell, really like that! Color needs tweeking a bit for me at roots to cover gray. I like the feel of the shampoo and conditioner. I would recommend working with this company. I haven't had results from any at home color like this. And , cheaper than stylist!
This is my third treatment and the color is just perfect. My husband and daughter love it because there is very little odor while applying and none afterwards! Red fades and my husband likes the darker red but I get the most compliments as it lightens. It's a win win for me.
The color was so perfect - it was rich without being red. It also had some dimension, which is pretty. It didn't cover all of my greys (which I keep finding more every day). I'm curious to know your thoughts on what could be done differently to get those greys away??
I've been buying store brand hair color for over a decade and always wanted a better product and for it to be customized to my color mood/season etc.
this product is great! I can tweak the color each order yet keep it within my color palate. I plan on using this in place of store brands from now on.
