I have used this product for 3 years, along with good quality shampoo. It doesn't fade if applied correctly (section the hair, and use the brush). It doesn't damage my hair, either. My stylist frequently comments on how healthy my hair is. I have so much gray that I would be spending $100 or more every four weeks. This product does a great job of covering the grays and it is a nice alternative to the salon - and I can do it in my home. I recommend.
I've used numerous brands only to find that they fade before 3 weeks. My eSalon color has been on for almost 4 weeks now and still has its golden color. It covers my 90% head of gray very well. Even though it is a bit more expensive that the "off the shelf" products, it sure saves a lot when compared to a Salon coloring. Best change I've made when it comes to my hair.
Love the hair color and instructions. I was unable to change my color preferences without creating a new profile so I'm leaving for the time being but I'm always happy to recommend the esalon system.

I've been using eSalon color for a few years now. The very first time I used it I was amazed at the feel of my hair after rinsing out the color. With all previous color products, my hair ALWAYS felt like wet matted yarn after coloring & I needed tons of conditioner before I could get a comb through it. But not so with eSalon. My hair actually felt like normal hair even before I used the conditioner. That was a most impressive first for me. I have made a few shade changes and adjusted the timing of shipments, always with ease & friendly service. I'm sticking with eSalon color & I highly recommend it.
I love this Hair color. I have always gone to the salon and decided to try it on my own. I did it myself for the first time. It looks lovely. Great color matching. I am two weeks in, hoping it doesn't turn brassy.

Just changed my color to Medium Brown (cool beige) & it's perfect! I think I've found the perfect color with the right highlights for my hair. I have found that you need to communicate with the consultants to find the right match. I originally picked out 2 colors and sent both color choices to them. They sent me this one and it's great. I was very nervous when I first ordered my hair color. But the price was so good that I thought, why not try it. Turns out this has been the best coloring I've EVER gotten. I have paid over $300 to get my hair colored & I've never been as happy as I was and still am when using esalon! This is my 4th time to use them. I will never go back to a salon again!

Let me start by saying I'm a natural red head which can be hard to find shades that look natural. I was apprehensive at first to try a mail order hair color. eSalon is amazing! I sent a current picture and explained what I wanted. My hair is also curly.
If you're willing to send in feedback and work with them to find what you're looking for, this is the way to go. It's arrives as often as you want, the smell isn't over bearing. My husband doesn't even smell it, like he could others.

This was my first try with eSalon and they knocked it out of the park. Box arrived as promised filled with clear instructions, quality products and great presentation. 45 minutes later my hair coloring was done and it looked better than several expensive salon colors I've had. I've been using eSalon custom hair colour for some time now and with each application I get a good natural result. The colour looks like my own colour before I had grey and it leaves a lovely shine. Very good service too.
I was so tired of icky hair color that always came a few weeks after over the counter color...this product is fabulous and has given me beautiful multi depth color. Couldn't be more pleased. Excellent directions...just a little bit different directions than I'm used to...but completely made sense. Love it and am going to try some other products as well.

This product is phenomenal! It is easy to use and do yourself at home. The color comes out very natural looking on your hair-not brassy or fake looking! I get many complements on it! They got the color right on the first try but I appreciate that they followed up to see if I wanted to make any changes to the formula. I would highly recommend this product to anyone. It is a little pricey compared to the box dye you can buy in a store, but well worth it for the outcome and what you save instead of going to a salon! The website is easy to navigate and I like that you can set up delivery on an ongoing basis or edit delivery at anytime. Give it a try today!
This was the first time I have tried the custom color. Wow, what a difference it made. My hair has stayed shinny, no lose of luster. I am waiting on my next shipment. Will continue with this. My boyfriend did it for me, easy and no mess.
I find the coloring leaves my hair in much better condition than previous drugstore colors I have used. The color adjustment was as I asked! Now I need it brighter, so will request that.
eSalon color gives me the best, most consistent coverage of any DIY color I've ever used (and I've used pretty much all of them). The directions are clear, the box comes with everything you need, and it's really easy to give yourself thorough, professional-looking color at a fraction of the cost of going to a salon.

I love it being shipped right to my home and I no longer have to go out and search for product at a store that is out of my color. My hair looks "marvelous"!
I have to say I could not be more pleased with my hair color. It turned out beautifully! The color was perfect, and my hair was soft and shiny. Not only that, the color has lasted FAR longer than when I had it colored in the salon! I will never go back to having my hair done in the salon now that I've found eSalon.
Wasn't sure what to think of it but I found the colour match was just what I asked for and I will definitely re order. The product was not overpowering smelly like some of the shelf products. The last couple of times I had my hair coloured at an expensive Aveda salon and the product burnt my scalp, not kidding. I found the salon product much more gentle on the scalp.
I love everything about this hair coloring system. It REALLY does cover the grey and also leaves your hair looking shiny and healthy. Also cant beat the price.
I haven't been much of a coloring person before with permanent color, but I really do like this better than store bought. It's much more to what color I want and feels really good. Doesn't take long for the order to go away either:)
I think that the custom color formulation that was developed for me from my instructions was 100% accurate.
This will save me hundreds of dollars per year as well as significantly cut down on my time in salons for coloring.
The expert colorists gave me strong professional advice on going from light blond to light golden brown (using a gradual method of steps). My daughter just did my 1st color change, and it is great! The color is dark golden blond AND I LOVE IT!!!

I was a little apprehensive in trying the color but to my amazement, it was perfect for me. I love the color and loved how long the color stays in my hair. The only gray showing is my new growth. This is sooo much better than drug store hair colors. In fact, I like it better than my hair salon's color.
Color is beautiful. Rich, shiny, looks natural even when first applied unlike drugstore coloring. Long lasting and doesn't go brassy. I have used it for several years and have had lots of compliments on my color. I always had trouble getting a color close to my natural color from over the counter products. I loved my eSalon color experience. The color was perfect and richer than anything I've bought off the shelf. With other brands my roots were ALWAYS lighter whether I did the root touch-up or all other color application method. I was worried about the cost of eSalon, but I can't imagine ever going back to off the shelf color.
Last night, for the first time, I used my demi-permanent custom color and I love it. I have shoulder length red hair that has lost its luster as I've matured but the color I purchased is PERFECT. Simply put, having the colorists from eSalon custom blend color for me has been an amazing decision that I plan on repeating regularly. My grey and white hairs are totally covered. I get compliments daily from different people on the color of my hair. Such a great investment in my overall well being.
Not only is the color better quality than I have found in the stores, the convenience is a bonus! I absolutely love Esalon! My custom color comes every 6 weeks, or as often as I want. It is great when I receive the package, because it has everything that I need to do my hair. No guess work, no searching for supplies....all arrives in one neat package. The color is awesome and when I feel like I want a change, I just send new pictures and a message to my colorist and the change is made.
