I will never go back to the salon for root touch-ups! This product is just as good, if not better, for a fraction of the cost. I couldn’t believe how they nailed the color, and it left such a great glossy sheen on my hair. I keep singing its praises to all of my girlfriends! I guess some good things have come out of this quarantine.

I finally ordered a custom colour set having plucked up the courage to spend a little more than my usual box colour... and I am so pleased that I did! The process was much easier using an application brush and a bowl, much more precise and, although a little time-consuming, I will get better at doing it with practice. The result was a very natural-looking all over colour, my hair feels in good condition and all the greys have vanished. My hair doesn't look 'one colour', it has a range of tones and hence looks natural. If anyone is hesitating about eSalon custom colour, I would tell them to stop wasting time, get on with it and order a kit! No regrets - it's guaranteed. I am really impressed with the quality and it's so much more affordable than a salon... not that I can go to one right now! Given that I won't be seeing my usual stylist for a cut for another 6 weeks (fingers crossed), I may as well have fabulous-coloured hair. I think she'll be impressed!
My house cleaning crew came in for the first time in three months. The first words out of their (a crew of two 20 somethings) mouths as they came in the door: 'I love your hair color'!! I was so surprised and delighted. Thanks esalon for making my day - and many others.

I was super skeptical and had never colored my own hair before, but the combo of my choosing what I thought I needed and uploading a photo of myself resulted in a color mix that was spot on! I ended up with a reddish brown that looks very natural. The reason for 4 stars, rather than 5, is because the color seems to fade quickly in the sun.
I was so so scared at first to do my own coloring. I’ve never done my own permanent root coloring so I was super skeptical when I took the leap and purchased this what I now know to be amazing hair color. The only thing I’ve ever really done to my own hair was semi-permanent and it was ALL of my hair. But, man am I glad I chose ESalon! The instructions were step by step, accurate and clear. I usually get a “toner” put on my my stylist in between highlights to preserve and refresh my color while preserving the health of my hair. And once I used this, following step by step, I was THRILLED!!! I was afraid the color wouldn’t match or blend with the rest of my hair or that my highlights would get lost in the shuffle, but nope!! My hair literally looked just as it usually does when I leave the salon!! I’ve gotten so many compliments and no one can believe it came in a bottle that I did myself! Mission accomplished- while on quarantine.. this may have to replace my in between with my stylist from now on! Shhh.. just don’t tell her! The only improvement I’d recommend is maybe putting in a little tube or so of a moisture mask just to give it little bit more silkiness- THANK YOU ESALON!!
Not to much to say, only that i love it. i love it and i love it... my hair is really soft and shine, and pretty much it was the color that i was expecting, even when is NOT great gray coverage, they're shinning like highlights, but i really needed more coverage, at the end this is awesome and the color specialist is amazing with her job! Thanks
My first time using a more permanent hair color. It was a little messy but worth it the color is fantastic and great coverage of my grey hair. Thank you my husband went nuts over the color he loved it!
Super happy with how well my color was matched. Great instructions with all the necessary tools. I had plenty of color for my roots and some to pull through if I wanted. My hair felt good afterwards and so far no change in texture. After a few weeks, the grey is still gone and have seen very little fading.
E-salon provided clear simple instructions for a reluctant first-timer. Turned out shiny and very natural-looking. Will be continuing to color at home and saving tons of money!!!
It's so easy to use and the great thing is the color lasts much longer than one from store. I recommended to my friends and they are now started become members.
My personalized colour is amazing! The kit was so easy to use my hubs coloured my hair for me! Customer service is excellent too. The colourist I spoke to on the phone was very patient with me and my colour ideas and poor cellphone service I had (I phoned California from Canada). I’m super happy with e salon and can’t wait till my next colour package comes in the mail again!
After weeks of Covid and never having done a home colour before it was with some trepidation that I tried your professional colour care kit. Today was D-day. I am really thrilled with the result. Great colour match, so easy to apply. Did light set after and very happy with results. Colours lovely, I may need to concentrate a little harder when apply light set as have a few funny patches but colour is soft and will do it again. My husband is at very high risk of dying from the virus and am in lock down until there's a vaccine. I would never attempt to color my hair otherwise. I watched a couple of videos of how to do it, and then gave it a try with the help of Esalon. And I am so glad that I did It!!!. It's given me such a lift. I feel so much happier. With everything else different in my life right now, at least I can still have hair I love!
I have severe hair color allergies. I have tried everything!!! Only color that works is wella koleston but was a pain for my friend to get it for me when I wanted, etc. decided to try this, love it!!!!!! The color is gorgeous every time. I love my colorist, I love the tones. I am hooked!
the custom color was great match to my own color which was what I wanted.
They used my own formula from my hairdresser to create it.
Got the hang of self coloring with the help of my husband! Will be easier the next time.

My husband colored my hair during the shelter at home time. He has never colored anything I was pretty nervous but I must say the kit was easy the color was great for me and he was proud of the job he did.

I finally used my color for the first time (my husband applied it, as he is a hairdresser). I absolutely LOVE it! I couldn’t be happier with the color, coverage and accessories it comes with - brush, shampoo, conditioner, stain remover and stain guard. I will definitely order again and I highly recommend!
After a few mishaps over the lockdown period with box dyes I found esalon, thank goodness. They formulated the colour exactly right for my hair type and it looks amazing. From now on I will only be ordering from esalon as it's such a great service and it comes in beautiful packaging. I put a photo up on my Facebook and lots of women asked for the link as they loved my new copper blonde colour.
I 100% love my color!! I had a similar color in my hair about 4 years ago so I had a point of reference I was aiming for and my colorist hit it out of the ball park! This color fixed the spotty mess from my last color and gave me all over exactly the shade I was looking to get! Recommend this color to everyone I know on Facebook!

This was amazing!!! The kit comes with everything you need and more! My hair was actually softer, shinier and healthier after. I am currently at a micro bob stage(growing from pixie) and I have no breakage or issues. I had so many compliments ((even from my mom who is hard to please)!
I absolutely loved my color, with all this going on with no salons open, i had a huge regrowth from highlights and wanted to to bk to my reg color. Loved it!
It’s a good product. I need a darker shade but it covers gray roots well. There is enough in one order to do to treatments for myself. I will try again with a different color pick.

Due to the current situation, I decided to color my own hair again. I read many different reviews from several do it yourself kits. I decided on e salon. I completed the questionnaire and selected my color from the results. I couldn’t be happier. It was easy to apply and my color is exactly what I’ve wanted and my hairdresser couldn’t achieve. With the current situation I've been forced to touch up my grey roots myself. It was pretty easy and i really like how the color looks and blended well with my existing color. Now im considering this as a regular activity. My hair was so soft afterwards.

Never would I have thought my personal hair color would be an absoulte match, but it's perfect. Easy to follow instructions. I have had hair stylist screw up my beautiful blonde so I was nervous. Heck I even screwed up my own color too. I am in awe how beautiful my root color is and matches my very long beautiful blonde hair. Looks natural. I'm am beyond happy with the results of my first time using eSalon hair color. I've always used a salon for my hair coloring needs, which can get very costly but I am so glad I tried eSalon. It was a little scary doing the process for the first time at home but because of the salon closures I had to try it at least once. I actually had my daughter follow the easy instructions and am truly amazed by the professional results.
Don't know how they did it but they matched the color exactly and didn't come out too dark, as is usually my problem. I missed a few spots and will do better next time. I only gave it 4 stars because I wanna see how long it lasts before give it 5 stars. Very happy with the results.

I’ve never colored my hair at home before. During the quarantine, my hair was rapidly turning white and I’m a natural strawberry blonde. I filled out the questionnaire, sent a pic and received my color in a few days. I followed the instructions to the letter, washed and conditioned with the provided products and blew it dry. The color was great and my hair felt terrific. I have another order coming in about a month. I should be able to save quite a bit of money doing my own color!
Was hesitant in purchasing the products, but I’m so glad I did. The hair color is so much better those purchased in the stores and looks like a salon did my hair.
I had dry bleached blonde hard water damaged hair. My colorist helped me get back to a shiny natural brunette closer to what is my natural color. I just love it!!! My husband loves it too! I've already started telling everyone I know about esalon!
Absolutely loved loved loved my new hair colour. The kit came with everything I needed to give my hair that “just been to the salon” look. The instructions were very clear, even a novice like me could follow them. The colour wax absolutely beautiful with excellent grey coverage, it is only now 4 weeks after colouring that they are starting to reappear. Will definitely use esalon again and would highly recommend them to others.

Better than expected results, in terms of gray coverage, lasting color, depth and tone (my chocolate brown wasn't flat like store box color) and my hair is in better condition.
