Sadly didn't cover GreyI gave all the information on my salon color (Brand/forumla) as well as general information about my hair. went brown instead of blongI received my color the other day and dyed my hair with the color that was adjusted based on my photo. I was trying to go more blond and the color that is "dark blond" made my hair darker. I don't hate it but my original intent was to go more blond not more brown. Does not last for at least 2 weeksHello! Thank you for letting me try the product again. As observed before, the solution smells good/ not strong and I loved it. My first bottle lasted for 6 days and my gray roots were very obvious in less than a week. This second solution, I used it last Feb. 13th, my hair was fresh and clean and I followed all directions religiously. I tried not to wash my hair 3x a week like I regularly do but I washed every 4 days instead, hoping to save the color. Unfortunately, my scalp was very itchy and not used to washing for longer days gap. This time, the gray came quite obviously after 11 days. I would like to keep this product as it smells great to me and the color Is perfect but it does not last longer for at least half a month. It is hard to keep coloring my hair more often if the product does not last longer. Oh, did I mention that that when I used the product 2x, my scalp was burning for at least 5-8 minutes and slowly faded away. I don’t know if this is a normal effect, but I did not have this sensation using other boxed hair dye. Maybe this product is good but it does not work well for me. It might work well with others though. It might be my type of straight, thin and fine Asian hair that’s the problem. Anyway, thank you so much but I will not subscribe. color was beautiful but--I loved the color. But it took out all the volume. I have fine hair and struggle to get volume. Use high end shampoos and conditioners to get a little lift. Useually coloring helps to add some volume but that's not the case with your product. My fine hair won't tease to get volume. Pas de réels changementsJ'ai demandé à ma coloriste une couleur d'un ton plus clair, sans que cela ne soit trop flagrant. Il était inscrit sur ma fiche d'instructions que je ne devais pas faire la coloration sur les longueurs, uniquement sur les racine : premiere déception. La couleur nourrit mes longueurs, les rend plus lumineuses. Deuxième déception au séchage : absolument aucune difference, la couleur est voire même un peu plus foncée. "Lightening" not quite as advertisedI wanted to test eSalon's ability to lighten up to 2 shades as advertised, so I requested medium ash blonde as my color; I was going from light brown virgin hair. My color stylist (who I don't blame for the issues I had, just to be clear!) followed up with an email letting me know that the color may not be as cool-toned as I was hoping for, and they provided me various options. I chose to go ahead with my intended color, feeling totally fine that achieving a true ash tone wouldn't be likely. What I wasn't expecting was my hair staying the exact same tone, but turning a brassy orangey-red! Really not sure why 15 volume developer was used in a situation where a full 2 levels of lightening is desired; you almost always need at least 20 volume, and even that can sometimes only get you 1 shade lighter. Didn't burn my hair off or do much more than eat up a few hours of my day because the $10 deal was dirt cheap, but I overall really don't recommend this service for any sort of lightening. Darker colors are probably much more successful! viel zu dunkelMein Wunsch war ein einheitliches schönes auf gar keinen Fall zu dunkles Braun auf meinem Kopf. Ich habe gesundes lockiges Haar auf dem Kopf gehabt. Was habe ich jetzt vom färben mit eSalon? Ja genau, dunkelbraunes Haar mit sogar schwarzbraunen Spitzen. Wie das aussieht, könnt ihr euch gerne vorstellen. Plus die schwarzbraunen Spitzen reflektieren nichts, sie sind einfach nur schwarzbraun. Selbst nach mehreren Haarwäschen, da die Farbe sich nach einigen Wäschen noch immer etwas auswäscht, sieht es nicht besser aus. Ich bin einfach maßlos enttäuscht und kann eSalon daher leider nicht empfehlen. Nur der Form halber möchte ich erwähnen, dass die Anwendung ganz einfach war und der Karton wirklich süß hergerichtet ist, zumal auch der eigene Name draufsteht. Hätte es jetzt noch mit der Farbe geklappt, hätte ich mir überlegt die Haare so öfters zu färben, da man einfach nicht Stunden beim Friseur sitzen muss. HorribleI started with my very long, completely natural (never colored) hair. I followed the directions exactly, which were to apply the color from root to tip. I ended up with roots that were the color I wanted and the rest of my hair looked like no change happened at all. Hot roots. The next morning I went to a salon and paid a ton of money for "color correction". Although the salon was able to mitigate some of the damage, my hair is still uneven. I can't believe I trusted this company. It took YEARS for me to grow out my long natural hair. After YEARS of wanting copper hair, I was finally ready to color it. I wish I had just gone to a salon in the first place. Ultimately, I would have paid less, and more importantly, I would have had a whole head of even color. Color Didn't TakeI was so excited about this personalized hair color. I followed the directions step by step, but instead of a light blonde my hair came out pretty much the same color with a red-ish tint. I have never known my hair to have any red in it so I don't know how this happened. SplotchyI have been going to a salon for years getting my hair colored, I had a friend (who’s a licensed cosmetologist) help me with my color. Show me how to do it at home since she’s moving. The smell was unlike any other hair color. It made me tear up constantly it was so strong and foul smelling. And after following the directions after I blow dried my hair was splotchy and the roots were not colored at all. TerribleThe day before I was to stand in my nieces wedding, I colored my hair with your product which basically messed up my hair. If I wanted it to be messed up I could have gone to a real salon and had them do it! I thought I was supposed to get the color I asked forI was so excited because it arrived quickly, the packaging was amazing and felt personal. I guess BECAUSE it was personal I was expecting the dark red I asked for. But my hair barely got any red in it. I tried it the second time around & it went away completely. Waxy Gross FeelingAfter several experiences with a gross oily/waxy residue all over my hair and having to literally spend all evening washing and rewashing my hair and really scrubbing my scalp I've given up on esalon. I reached out to support several orders ago and was basically told that this can happen sometimes, but I've never had it happen with boxed hair color and it hadn't happened for the first few years of using esalon. I still have one set of esalon hair color at home, but after last night I'll be trashing it, for the first time in years I bought a boxed color and it rinsed out easy and sludge-free. Color fine... hair condition notThe color is fine. My hair is a gunky sticky mess. I followed the directions but ever since dying it my hair is sticky and gunky like it's dirty. I washed with the clarifying shampoo. I soaked in the tub twice, I've showered, it's running clear.... I've washed it several times and my hair is still sticky and dirty feeling. You changed the formulaCoverage just as good but you’ve changed/removed an ingredient so there is no slippery ‘residue’ when rinsing out. I didn’t mind this as my hair looked fab after colouring and for a few weeks after but now it just looks a bit dry! Please go back!! For some reason, it turned out darker this time.I don't think I did anything different, but for some reason my color turned out significantly darker. it was ok, not exactly the color i thoughThe color was not exactly on point, but the experience was very nice, easy to apply and it left my hair soft and smooth like I was applying a hair conditioner not hair color. Much too DarkThe first 2 months my color was much too dark brown and does not look good with my light complexion and green eyes. I'm almost afraid to try again. 2nd Color application: NO GOOD!My initial custom color package was wonderful! High quality coverage that lasted and made my hair soft and silky. So I decided to allow my recurring order to continue. My second round of color was no where near the first experience! Right after washing out the color, I still had gray hairs that the color didn’t penetrate even though I applied the color the same way I had done the first time. In addition, my hair felt VERY dry and brittle. It felt like straw to the touch. Hair colour, light blonde, 8beigeI was so looking forward to the colour i had picked. It was easy to mix, and a lovely consistency, but was shocked to see my hair was not a nice cool, light beige blonde, but it was bright Ginger! instead. I must admit i was very dissapointed, and rushed out the next day to buy a shop dye to change it. However i know my hair is very stuborn, and resistant to alot of dyes/ colours etc. This is why i wanted to try eSalon, for a more professional quality. I absolutely loved the way they package my goods, and was very happy about the overall quality of everything i had ordered. I was a little dissapointed with the application brush, as i felt i could be a bit bigger and firmer. Also, the tint rinse i used was barely negligable in toning down any brassy tones, even after leaving in for 4/5mins. I also found it a bit runny. Apart from that, the quality of everything was very good indeed. I think that maybe it is my hair that is the problem. The clips are fab, the cape was brilliant, and Weekly Retreat is amazing. I even used it on my friends, very thick, stubborn grey hair, that was in the worst condition imaginable. To say it was like straw, was an understatement. After a light trim, i applied Weekly Retreat, and we were both amazed at what it did for her hair. It completely changed it. It was beautifully soft, shiny, and managable. She couldnt believe her eyes. Perfect proof of the quality of this product. I have now changed my colour to a light ash blonde. So i am hoping this will work better on my hair, when it arrives. The only reason i gave 3 stars, was because the colour came out ginger? nothing like the shown examples. Plus the tint rinse was a little weak in tone, even though i had lightened my hair slightly, to get rid of most of the ginger. It did just about take the edge off, but not enough for my liking. Maybe if you were a very light bleached blonde, it would look lovely. BUT, i must say, all the products were of exellent quality. Not quite the color I ordered....My color was supposed to be a dark blonde.....but this is no dark blonde. I'd say medium brown at best. Not a bad color, just not MY color. And grey coverage was pretty good. I'd say about 90% of my grey is gone, but I do see some stranglers on top of my head. LIGHT SET REVIEWThere is no way to leave reviews on the light set (which makes me wonder why?) so I'm including it under my color review. My all over color was great--my colorist took my feedback and ordered a great color for me--medium brown with golden & copper. I loved it...until I used the light set. I was told the only appropriate light set for me was the light to medium brunette. After doing my all over color then the light set, my hair washed out with brassy and orange tones all over. The highlights were just a lighter orange color than the rest of my hair. I followed the instructions exactly for both the all over color and light set. When I called esalon, they said the only way to try to correct the color was to color my hair all over with a neutral light brown color. The colorist said they don't have any other toners like you could get in the salon to correct the brassiness. So my recommendation is if you have copper mixed in your overall color, DO NOT use the highlight set especially the light to medium brunette one. Also if you do use the light set, make sure your strips of hair contain an even amount of the lightener mix from top to bottom, otherwise some parts of the same strip will have brighter and darker spots. Additionally, I don't know why they recommend starting above your ear because then this area sits the longest with bleach on it and ends up being the lightest of all the highlights. I'd probably go back and do that at the end instead of starting with it first and letting it process for so long. Ways esalon can improve the light set-1. make the lightener pouch a cream (powder is messy), 2. share a video of someone with thick and/or curly hair-the girl in the video has thinner, long , light hair. 3-show pictures on your website of people with brown or copper hair who have highlighted their hair with your product 4. allow reviews of the product online 0 de 0 personas encontraron este comentario útil. ¿Y tú? |

It burned my scalp.I have really short, fine hair and the process was too strong for me. The colorist suggested a semi permanent process that isn’t as strong. I also requested a color change. Lovely colour, but far too harsh.First impressions: I loved the box, loved that everything came so neatly and carefully packed. I also appreciate the personal touches on the products and the name of the hair dye specialist that produced my colour. The box came with 2 x developer mix, 2 x colour mix, 2 × pairs latex gloves, 1 x stain guard gel, 1 x shampoo sachet, 1 x conditioner sachet, 1 x stain removal wipe, and 1 x dye brush. The developer mix and the colour were both incredibly strong. My eyes were watering and it caused slightly more of a tingle to my scalp than usual, but nothing to worry about as it faded quickly. The mixture was a little runny for application so had to use both, especially since I have long hair! The instructions were clear and concise to follow, and any questions I might have had were answered in the little pack. The stain guard and stain removal wipe are an excellent inclusion, they both worked brilliantly so I dont have any untoward marks on the tops of my ear or the side of my face! The dye washed out really easily which was nice, and I like the watered-down dye mix beig massaged into the scalp. Made it feel like more of a salon experience, and it's amazing you included two pairs of gloves so that I wouldnt have to keep the gloves on for ages. I also appreciate that the gloves were latex - they were stronger and more form-fitting than many of the cheap plastic, so they held up well. The shampoo and conditioner smelled incredible, and made my hair feel lovely but because I have such long hair there wasnt much to go around. Finally, the colour is incredible, it brings out the copper tones in my hair and makes my natural red hair look even more vibrant. Ways to improve are few but significant. The string chemical smell is an issue for me, as well as the lack of shampoo/conditioner. Maybe a "long hair" option for 50p extra, so you get extra sachets and not just the one? Overall, 3/5. Not the colour I was asking forI was really looking forward to trying esalon as my usual colour is now discontinued. I've been gradually lightening up my hair over the past four years or so as I didn't want to ruin it with using too much bleach in one go. I selected "light brown copper" as my desired result as the colour didn't seem too far off what I had, and provided a recent picture as well where my hair looked slightly lighter than reality. I was expecting a slight change but still within my style. Oh how wrong was I. Few years of effort undone within 30 minute sof colour development as now I'm back to dark brown. Not sure I want to try a different formula as I've just lost a lot of trust. Horribly damaged hair after coloring with this kitI am an avid at-home dyer. I have been dying my hair with various products at home for over 15 years. I thought a professional blend suitable for my hair type would be wonderful. I have curly hair and it tends to be a tad on the dryer side in winter months. I prepped my hair with a few hair masks in the weeks prior to dying and followed the instructions to the letter. While attempting to wash the dye from my hair, it felt like each strand was covered in wax and while the roots and very ends were able to be detangled, the mid section of my hair was a rat's nest. I proceeded to utilize the conditioner sent with the kit, but it did NOTHING. I followed up with a hair mask, intense repairing conditioner, and a leave in conditioner, but it still feels like there is wax covering my hair and it is extremely tangled. Pieces continue to fall out (after the huge amount that fell down the drain during the rinse out process). Sadly disappointed...please readThis is the second time in the last month I've used your products. Both times I stated I have red undertones in my natural dish water blonde color. I also have some greys, not a lot, but they are there. The 2nd color which was free, the color was supposed to be adjusted to address my initial concerns, which was grey coverage and NO RED tint, but this time my hair is even more redder than the first time and still no grey coverage. The color I was sent was a medium blonde and my hair color is normally a light ash blonde when I dye it. I asked both my daughter and husband for their honest opinions and they both said this color ages me. I'm 51 years old. I don't need to fast forward my age, I'm trying to rewind it. After 2 attemps and neither time the colors I was sent didn't address either of my initial concerns, I'm going back to Rite aid to get my light ash blonde hair dye. Also, the conditioner is horrible that you include in the package. I actually had a really hard time combing my hair after I got out of the shower. Normally I love the conditioner in hair dye kits and my hair always feels healthier after I dye it, but not with this product. I also had really bad static in my hair and I never have that. ConcernedI haven't actually used the dye yet but after reading reviews I was concerned about what I read. It seems the company automatically adds you onto a repeat order set up. I checked and indeed they have. I also found that they had automatically saved my credit card details, which they had not got my permission for. Nice color, straw-like hairI liked the color and all of the tips that were available for me to apply the color correctly. In fact, your customer service is top-notch. What I didn't like was how frizzy and straw-like my hair felt after coloring. Since my hair is naturally curly and coarse, I need something that makes my hair feel more soft and conditioned after coloring. The color itself was just a tad light. It colored the gray roots, but didn't match the rest of my hair (This has happened before when using other hair color products.), so I still have roots, they're just light brown. Really wanted to continue my subscription but...I went to the ESalon in Los Angeles and loved getting my color done with the colorist. She was great, the color was great although my hair felt a little heavy afterwards, and I loved getting the kits sent to me. I got my first kit at home and meticulously followed the directions. I don’t know if it is because I live in a city with extremely hard water or what but the color turned into a waxy, sticky mess in my hair that would not go away after several shampoos. I could not brush my hair or even dry it properly. I reached far back into my brain to think about what could restore my hair - chemistry courses!! Oil binds with oil so I massaged my hair in olive oil for 10 to 15 minutes. It was a messy process too but it enabled me to finally wash the waxy sticky residue out of my hair. I thought this might have been an anomaly so I tried again 4 weeks later and the same thing happened. Not what I was expectingI was expecting the color to be darker. It said medium brown, but there wasnt much of a difference from my natural dark blonde hair. It was also very coppery which I wasnt expecting. On the plus side, the directions were easy to follow and my hair feels very soft. Something has changedI've always really loved my esalon hair colour. It had very little odor and I always loved the way my hair felt even right after a colour (which was a first for me). For the past several colours, I have noticed a change. The colour feels really waxy and is really difficult to rinse off after a colour. I don't love the way it feels as I used to. I hope that things go back the way they were or I will have to look for a better product. Not Even Close - HATE IT!I was looking for a reddish brown color and my color turned out a very dark brown (almost black) which looks awful on me. No red in this AT ALL - not even in the sun. I went through the questionnaire process and chose the color I wanted and even included pictures. I would have achieved better results (and I have) had I purchased a color off the shelf at the grocery store. I have colored my hair many times myself in the past and had no problem achieving the color I wanted. Now I used a colorist and she has never had an issue getting me to the color I wanted. Second Attempt - A Bit Better than FirstHello Jennifer, Thank you for reformulating my initial color. I asked for better gray coverage. I compared the online notes from the initial color vs. the reformulation and both sets of notes (that I can see online) are identical. Should I expect to see a difference in the notes that refers to the better gray coverage? Regarding the results, this second time I used the bottle to apply the haircolor and not the brush/bowl method which I used the first time. I like the bottle application method better. After following the instructions, waiting the 40 minutes, then applying the leftover color to the ends during the rinse process, I am still experiencing a much darker result over the entire head than desired. I am not sure what additional adjustments can be made to the formula, the shampoo, the conditioner or to the method of application. What do you suggest? Didn't cover my grays.... 😕I haven't colored my hair in probably 5 or 6 years...I like my natural color.... but now that I have gray friends everywhere, I thought I'd give it a shot! I did a lot of research on which product to buy, because I've heard my mom, aunts and other people say that gray was hard to cover.... finally settling on eSalon because of the specialized products and amount of detail they provide... And, well, it is hard. Obviously. Because here I am with dyed hair, color is kindof okay... but still have the grays. And, I paid extra to get the bowl, cape and mixing tools, etc...(planning to continue ordering with autoship) but never got them. So I cant really provide a review for those. Wasn't happyIAM sorry I didn't write this sooner, but when I got ur product in the mail I was so excited, so after I used it the first time, (and it had been bout two years or longer since I dyed my hair), u can understand my disapointment after I used the first bottle, so I did as the instructions said on the time u should wait in between dye jobs and I was not pleased, but I would really like to give u guys another try. I was wondering if I could maybe change my color and if I could get a complimentary bottle of my new color. I don't normally write to company's if IAM not happy with their product, but it hasn't been a good last year and a half, (my house burned down, found out my boyfriend of nine years was cheating on me, than left me on New Year's Eve), just to name a few, so I was looking forward to a little pick me up change. New branding is awfulLet me preface this review by saying that I love esalon. I have been a customer since 2013 and I think the concept and product is amazing! In the past I had so much trouble finding a brand that worked and didn't dry out my hair or product very inconsistent results. My color is spot on every time, my hair is in great condition and I get many compliments on the color. Ok, now for my critique: I just broke into my newest color order and was shocked to see that the packaging/branding has changed. I am sorry about this but it is awful. It looks very dated, the color scheme is unattractive, and there is now a plastic sleeve that makes me think that you are not considering the environment. I am not sure what precipitated this change, I thought the previous packaging was great - very contemporary. If someone has bought the company and you can no longer use the previous branding colors/design, please redesign it. It's kind of depressing. More red than blondeThis is my first esalon order. My hair is very shiny now, which is nice. I followed as instructed and it didn't lift much, and is definitely quite red. Not what I expectedI loved the idea of salon quality hair color, with out paying the full price. The color I had picked out and the color I received was two totally different colors. It is an autumn red instead of being a copper red. It is a very beautiful color but it wasn’t the color that was shown. Also my hair feels as if I bleached it to a platinum blonde. Easier than most at home colorI like how easy the color is to apply and the lack of chemicals. My hair always feels great after coloring. However, the color fades REALLY fast! I typically wash my hair once a day so I planned to color my hair one morning and wait as long as possible to shampoo it again. Even enter waiting more than 24 hours for the color to set it still faded dramatically after the first few washes. After about 2 weeks my hair is the same color as before I colored it. Good Overall Experience, Disappointing ResultsDelivery was quicker than expected, presentation was wonderful, the box was so cute and really added to the overall feel of the product. The instructions and personalised labels were a great extra touch. I was concerned about the 2 bottles situation (I'm usually a 3-4 bottle home dye kinda' person and every new hairdresser I go to always thinks they have enough dye but has to go get more at least twice) but the bottles were super big compared to most home dye kits and the mixture wasn't super thick so it was easy to spread. The smell was stronger than most and pretty unpleasant but you never really expect hair dye to smell nice anyway. But the shampoo and conditioner smelt great - could have done with a bigger quantity for even single time use, though. I found myself using my normal conditioner too, just to cover my hair. I followed my instructions to a T, even the add water and massage leftover dye over hair and leave for 2-3 minutes. Whilst wet, the results looked promising. Unfortunately upon my hair being dry you can tell and see that it just hasn't taken to some parts very well at all despite ensuring it was covered meticulously - I have no greys either. It's a problem I encounter with a fair few hair dyes but given then "salon" nature of this one, I didn't expect to do so. Not bad for the introductory price, and I really had hoped for better results, I don't think I will be buying this on the full price subscription unless the colour really lasts and remains somewhat vibrant - but I will have to reapply and cross my fingers that it takes to the areas it did not this time around. Not so great....After using this hair dye, my hair was very coarse and felt very dry. As I was getting the conditioner out that they had sent along with the hair dye, it felt as if my hair was very rough. I also lost a lot of hair in the shower which I do usually lose a little bit of hair when I wash my hair but not that much. I do not know if the hair loss was due to the product but I'm just adding it for other people's knowledge. Also, when I use a box hair dye from the store I am able to use it in my bathroom mirror with the vent on. It does stink but when I used this product from eSalon, I had to actually leave the bathroom because the smell was so strong and overpowering. I do like the color and it was effective and coloring grey hairs. But I will not reorder. Not For Me But I Still Think It’s Worth TryingThe customer service is truly fantastic. I really wanted to love my color results but I didn’t. I don’t fault the company—I have brown hair with full highlights and just wanted to go back to my natural brown. At the salon, it’s a long process to fill in highlights and can take a few color applications. That being said, the color that was made for me was very nice but didn’t do what I wanted. The lighter highlights ended up red (and that is a color I avoid like the plague). I called customer service and they were really wonderful. They were knowledgeable, very nice, and helpful. I also did love the packaging and my color arrived quickly after placing the order. Loved the coverage , color too DarkI was very excited to try this hair color. It covered my gray hairs beautifully like at the salon and who wouldn't love that it was so easy to do. .However the Dark Brown I ordered was way to dark on me looks almost black. Dissapointed in colorI have always done my hair blonde and I think I had that down pretty well. I decided to switch to a copper red color recently and I am learning all over again. The first few times I did it, my roots processed much quicker than the rest of my hair causing bright red roots and much faded for the rest of my hair. So I started processing the lengths of my hair and then adding it to the roots in the last couple minutes to avoid the “hot roots”. This was the perfect solution but I still hadn’t found the perfect color so I decided to try e-salon. When the stylist gave me a call, she gave me instructions to process the roots first and for longest, and then the roots. When I explained my hot roots, she assured me that wouldn’t be the case with the e-salon color and told me I had to do the roots first (and for longer) and then the ends. She also helped me choose a color. I told her I wanted a pretty fall copper red color (warm but not too bright). The color I was sent was fairly dull, not a warm/bright copper color. I did love the packaging and presentation and have wanted to try the color revive (I think that’s the name?) but I am wary after this experience. I have since used another brand with better luck. Left with a thick sticky residue on my hairI have used the eSalon color multiple times now but this last batch was completely different from anything I’ve experienced before. I had trouble rinsing out the dye, had to wash my hair 3 times before I felt my hair was rinsed thoroughly and didn’t feel a build up on my scalp. When I went to brush my hair it felt like there was a sticky residue remaining. The following day I shampooed twice more. It took about 2 weeks before my hair felt normal. The color was also off. My color is the most vibrant red that is available to me but this batch was more brown than red. DisappointedI would love to permanently dye my hair auburn in the future, but i wanted to see if it suited me first by using a semi-permanent colour, and i couldn't find any home dye kits which were the colour i wanted, so i was over the moon when i found eSalon because it does custom colour suited to your specific hair. I found the perfect colour and ordered 'light brown (red copper)' in demi-permanent (as i've said i don't want to commit to permanent yet). I had high hopes for this especially as i filled out details on my hair type etc, but when i died it it looked nothing like the colour shown on the website. I know it says that permanent is best and recommended for vibrant colours, but i would have thought that it at least looked more auburn than it did! My hair came out with a slight tint instead and some bits didn't seem to dye well at all looking blonde still. It has now been about 5 months since i've died my hair and whilst most of the colour has gone, my hair still doesn't look as blonde as it did before i died it, even though i would've expected all the colour to have gone now considering it was demi-permanent - although i understand that may just be wishfull thinking and your hair may not go back to it's natural colour after dyeing it. Colour fades & ends BrittleI have been using esalon hair colour since January, I have to say that all of the colours have been lovely when first applied and last for a couple of washes. I wash my hair with colour care shampoo twice a week but after two weeks the hair colour has almost washed out and my hair is brittle. i like the company & productstill figuring out the right formula & color, but I really like how the company is very willing to help & work with me.
