The product is easy to use and you know and feel you're getting good results because the product was custom made to your color preferences. I covered my few grays.
I love this stuff! I can't afford to get my hair coloured at the salon every 4 weeks, but this stuff does the job just as well. No offensive door and great coverage of grey hair leaving behind healthy hair in the shade you want. Definitely recommend.
I started using eSalon over a year and a half ago when I was trying to reduce household expenses when my husband's position was eliminated. The quality of this product is salon-quality. Even my hairstylist is impressed. Most importantly, the color-match is perfect and their process of making that happen for you is spot-on. The questionnaire is very comprehensive and offers the opportunity of uploading two photos. I made one change to go a bit darker in the fall and simply sent a request and a new photo. Additionally, you set up the frequency and it shows up, beautifully packaged, right on time. I'm 55 and have been putting permanent color on my hair for 25 years. I've also seen the same hairstylist for 25 years. I see her now for cuts and a couple of highlight/lowlight appts. I am silver-gray and that's only for she and I to know. I have continued to use eSalon because of the quality and the service. I have saved hundreds of $$$$! Try it. You'll be impressed.
I just colored my hair on Sunday with a slightly different shade. No one has said anything but I definitely see the difference. It looks very healthy with shine and highlights of red and light golden brown.
I have used eSalon for a couple of years now and I LOVE their product! Even my hair stylist tells me, when I go in for a cut, that the color is the most natural that she's ever seen! I live in a small town that is more then 80 miles away from any place to purchase professional hair color and had to resort to purchasing color from a local chain store and it was terrible. I do love my color. It is very difficult to get the right shades of copper, gold and red that look natural and real with my skin coloring. My hair was much darker red in my youth but I want it to keep it's strawberry blonde tones as I mature and you have got it square on. It also last longer than any other color. I'm getting about 5 wks instead of 2 to 3. Thank you
I have been using the custom hair color for several years. I really like the feature allowing me to message the colorist to adapt the color formula and upload a current picture. I have been able to choose a formula that I like. In addition, the conditioner in the coloring package gives my hair a great feel after coloring. I love it!

Great quality hair colour and so much better than off the shelf products. My hair colour has vibrancy and is longer lasting, and I get calls from my colourist to ensure that I'm happy with the product and to answer any queries that I have. It really is salon quality colour at a fraction of the cost of a visit to the hairdresser!
The customized color that they sent me was perfect! I actually first ordered a darker color and sent a picture of what my hair looked like before coloring. Luckily, a stylist contacted me first to make sure I wanted to go as dark as the color I had chosen. She was right, I had chosen too dark of a color and let her make a lighter shade for me. It came out really nice. My hair is now a beautiful shade of brown. It is very shiny and healthy looking. Much brighter, shinier, and a much richer more vibrant color than before. It also completely got rid of my first few grays that I had coming in. I love how the color has alot of dimension to it and looks so natural and healthy. Definitely gives salon quality results. Excellent product and customer service!
This color does everything you would hope for from home color and more. The directions are clear and the color is fantastic. It's easy and quick and it is made specifically for you just like in a salon. It might be nice getting the attention from a colorist but I can do without the multiple hundreds of dollars it costs.
I really like my eSalon color. It comes in the mail so it is always in my house when I am ready to color. It is just the right color for me. My hair really feels good after I have colored it. Yes, it is a bit more costly that hair color you would buy in the store but the quality is worth it, and if you want a change just go on line an request it. So nice!
I've coloured my hair for many years, but for the last 3 years I've been focused on my 3 small children and colouring my own hair was too much of a faff and having it done in a salon Way over my budget.

As with all hair dye there is the smell, although with this one I found it didn't linger as most other colours do. I have long hair and after colouring my hair and rinsing loads I tend to wake up the next day and still have a slight smell of colour, NOT with eSalon! YAY!

This is a very good product....have mostly coloured my hair at home due the high cost but covering the gray on the hairline and keeping the Color from fading has been really hard....this product is awesome.....covers the gray completely and now 2 weeks later only minimal grey is showing and for me that is something....Color is only slightly fading..........highly recommend this to anyone colouring their hair at home or going to a salon....
Let me say that I am so glad I ordered my color. I was concerned about ordering something with out seeing it or a consult or even attempting to color my own hair.
The box sat unopened for over a week as I was scared to do the color myself. Not only was it easy, the color came out beautiful. Just what I wanted. It covers the grey nicely and my hair is super glossy too.
I will order again. I even saved the bottle so I could get the color code but I see your site has all my info saved.

I will start with the customer service. If you're unsure where to begin with any of the products or colors, just ask the stylists. Response time is very fast, and you can be assured they're listening! Instructions are sent with each kit, and they're super easy to follow. Pretty much fool proof. Next up, the colors. Rich, vibrant and glossy is an understatement. The WOW factor after each application is definitely there! Finally, the shampoos, conditioners and many hair repair products offered are nothing short of miraculous, and has me doing the happy dance (all while in my pyjamas) every time. You can switch colors in a heartbeat, and maintain that vibrant look with their color enhancing mask, root touch up kit, color enhancing treatments and gloss refreshers that keep your hair looking snappy until your next order. I LOVE this custom color. I constantly get compliments on how healthy my hair looks. They ask what I have done to my hair because they look so smooth. My hair has always been very frizzy and since I have been using this I guess it's about 2 1/2 yrs. my hair has been very shiny and healthy looking. Wish I would have found this product years ago when I was young and wanted to wear my hair real long and looked for products to get rid of the frizz without much luck. Easy to use, left my hair shining & silky..! Not a common thing, lovely color match, may need to leave it on for a touch longer , to really get my resistant grays, but very happy. Thanks very much for your advice.
I love the color--I get lots of compliments. To keep my hair healthy, I add a few ounces of bhringaraj oil to the color formula before I apply it to my hair. I has really made a difference for my dry hair!

I was skeptical about these hair color products but im amazed at the color and the pigment...esalon put together a beautiful blue-black color for me (which ive been trying to get the perfect blue black for years but the color is never rite) well finally i have the perfect blue black ,i LOVE IT!! its beautiful and it shines and it completely covers all gray hair ...not to mention how cute the the custom instructions are and how its taylored to me . The products are "salon" grade at a reasonable price. The convenience of delivery and you know what you're getting, you don't have to worry if the store has your color. Changing formula or delivery schedule is easy peasy!
I've been using eSalon custom color for quite a while now. The color is always great! I usually go longer between coloring than most and there is very little fading over time and it covers the gray well! I also have very long hair, down to my waist, and there is always enough.
I have been using this hair color for about 2 years and it seems to keep getting better! My hair is soft and moves so naturally after a color job. I get compliments everywhere I go!
I felt like I was in the salon without spending the time and money. The color is so natural with great highlights-- not the plain flat color from a box I have bought from the store. I love that I had two pairs of gloves so I could use the first pair for my color and the second pair for removing my color and shampooing and conditioning. The smell of the shampoo and conditioner are heavenly-- like fragrant flowers. The conditioner left my hair feeling quite silky. My color has not faded yet either. I am excited to do my hair again and this does not usually happen to me. The ease and delight I got from using Made For You will help me be on time for when it is time to do my hair once again.

At first I was a little scared to use an online hair color, yet. After they called me to verify my request and talked with me about what my concerns were I felt more confident. I used the product and it matched my salon color perfectly!!! I'm very pleased with the customer service as they are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.
Nice medium golden brown, gentle--I have some sensitivities to some hair products--and this hair color did not cause any breakouts along my neck at the hairline. Rich color that covered the grays very well.
This is by far the best hair color I have ever used! I could never get other hair color to cover my gray and this totally did the trick... I am a golden dirty blonde and it looks so natural... try it I would recommend this highly!!

I love Custom Hair Color. The color is exactly right and I have the option of changing it at any time. It has staying power and looks good until I need to touch up the roots. The shipments arrive on schedule and I can easily change the schedule whenever I need to.

I love the color made especially for me and how long it lasts. It lasts about 4 to 5 weeks. And I especially love that as the color is fading away my hair does not get copper color. In the past hair colors have turned copper ish and so I am so happy that this one doesn't. Thank you !
I when darker anyway although you suggested to only do the roots and ends it has red tint hightlights I like it very much. colored the GRAY right away and my hair looks and feels Fuller and just bouncing and behaven. THANKS A BUNCH ¡!!!!!!! But I do like my reds I'll be adjusting my next color. It's so easy and no mess or smell I'M HAVING FUN AND LOOKING GOOD!!!!!
I have been coloring my hair for over 40 years. I think I have tried every over the counter coloring product ever made (many times with horrific results). And I must admit I was very sceptical, having never heard of eSalon before, plus having to order it over the internet (I have been burned before). But I was not only impressed by their fast service, but it was everything they claimed it to be. I got the grey coverage promised and my hair is in better condition than it has been in a long time. I love my eSalon color. I get compliments all the time on my haircolor, most people think its my natural hair color. Best of all, it hardly fades and I wash my hair A LOT!
I've tried several boxed hair dyes and I saw a ad for eSalon and I decided to try their product and boy I'm glad that I did! It is a great product and I'm so glad that I found it!
I went through the motions and created a profile, uploaded pictures and received my first kit in the mail. Then I didn't use it. I was skeptical and went ahead and bought two boxes of the same store bought at home hair color that I have used for years and then skipped my next scheduled shipment.
When it came time to color my hair this time around though I decided to go ahead and use the eSalon product and boy was I surprised! Really love the way the kit gives you everything needed to color at home. After coloring realized I should have ordered a darker color for my roots (I am 100% grey) but overall was a great experience and I will buy again.

I recommend this to anyone who colors their hair themselves! It is easy and IF you answer the questions in the customization portion of your order honestly, you will end up with the MOST BEAUTIFUL color that you just can't get over the counter!

I LOVE my new eSalon hair color! Normally, over the counter colors go on very dark and take a couple of weeks to tone down to my desired color. My eSalon color went on perfectly. I am more than satisfied!
I am so happy with my new color and even better I can just click to reorder and my spotty tracking of my coloring will be spot on instead😁 And my hair does not have that dry coloring condition I usually get with box color
I also am very glad I purchased the tools kit, it was so much easier with the brush and clips.
