I've been dying my hair for years and now approaching 50 and have lots more grey hair and the salons are too expensive, so I used to use the supermarket dyes but always found that they never covered my grey and my colour always seemed to be a yellowish colour. I'm so impressed with eSalon and if you don't need your product the next month you can always delay this, it's great as you are not stuck into a contract as well

I was very happy with my custom blended color kit. it was easy to use and the results were great! Everything is included and very user friendly! I got great coverage and the color seems to be lasting very well! I definitely recommend eSalon!
This is an amazing product, especially if you don't need highlights. I use the color for all over color at first and now on root touch up. The gold in the formula makes my gray look like highlights.
Esalon is so convenient. I wanted to try it out because of the custom aspect of it. I liked formulating my own color based on questions of my natural hair color and what I was looking to color, ie: gray. I have since gone a bit lighter in my tone (golden mahogany) which I love. Changing the color was so easy and the end product was superb!
I had previously used the root cover, and decided to try the all-over color. I really like how the directions are so precise! For example, using the leftover color, mixing with water in the shower and pouring it over your head... what a great idea! I used to buy over the counter color and simply pour the rest down the sink which was wasteful! I love that you explain how to only color roots first, wait 15 minutes before applying to the rest of the hair. I am saving money since I usually spend $80 or more at my salon, and the color at a professional salon doesn't last any longer than color from e-Salon.(for me, usually 5-6 weeks) I also like that I was able to tweak my color until I got it just right!
This is such an awesome concept....have your personalized hair color kit mailed to your home. This service also comes with a 24 hour color expert if you have any questions. Cost is much less than a salon appointment, and you don’t have to take off work early!
I have been getting custom hair color for years from Esalon. I cannot believe that I haven't written a review yet! I am one who always praises great companies, their representatives, and their products. Esalon has always provided me with great service in every way! This kit was so easy to use, laid out perfectly in the delivery box making each component easy to locate. Strongly advise the extra developer/color if you have longer than shoulder length hair or very thick hair. The color itself (I went with 6.04 Light Brown/ Natural Copper) is beautiful and very rich, while still enhancing the highlights that were in my hair prior to using at home color. I couldn't be more pleased and look forward to saving an easy $1,000 each year on salon visits!
Love it!!!!! My hair does not like hair color for the most part, I am always left with straw for hair for at least 2 weeks afterwords and the other dyes are a pain to rinse out. This was so easy, it rinsed clear within minutes and although my hair was still a little straw like it was leaps and bounds above anything else I have ever tried!! Will be ordering again regularly!! I love the color I end up with, exactly what I was looking for and tried so hard to get elsewhere. I have lots of gray so was ending up with orange when I was aiming for reddish brown. Even expensive salons couldn't get it right!The shampoo and conditioner included in my color kit are great too.
I have used boxed hair dye since the age of 26 as I was very, very premature gray. I am in my late 40's now with a lot of gray hair in my roots. I can not afford expensive in salon color, so I decided to give ESalon a try. Wow...Not only is the color spot on, but the texture of my hair (super silky and smooth) and the overall results are OUTSTANDING!!! I am so beyond happy! Thank you!

I've been using eSalon for several years now, and I love that fact that I can tweak the color to lighten, brighten, or darken as I see fit. I always thought the color looked very natural on me, and now I have confirmation--my new hairstylist thought it was my natural color! I had to tell her all about eSalon, and she was very impressed.
My life is getting under control and having my personal color arrive automatically has saved my bacon. Also, the color is great and I am only getting rave reviews on the results. thanks so much!
I love this hair color so much! I’ve been dying my hair on and off for years and have never been happier than with esalon, it took a few tries to find the right shade but with my third order I got the light set with my base color and it’s the most amazing thing! I’ve never been to a real salon to have my hair colored before so I have nothing to compare it to but WOW. I will be putting this on repeat for sure.

The custom color is great. I have natural red tones and it compliments those tones every time. It is easy and convenient and you can't beat the price. The videos are very helpful and the customer service has always been courteous and professional.

I was just laid off from my job and I can't afford going to the salon at $190 a pop, every 5 weeks. You have helped me tremendously!
I'm so glad i found you E Salon.I now have a colorist friend who can guide me. no more store with swatches of totally beached out samples dyed to the perfect color that will not be my result.
I upload a picture of my cut and color. My new colorist sees me, hears what i want adjusts it FOR ME. If i want to tweak my color i just tell her we work together.The END result IM HAPPY. im set up to have MY COLOR delivered as often and as soon as i want. LOVE LOVE LOVE this whole concept.

I chose this product due to the ads. I wanted to see if it really colored gray better. I am happy to say that this product does exactly what it says; it colors the gray and outlasts any hair coloring product I have ever used. The color stays on weeks longer and the gray areas don’t fade. I love this product and tell all my friends about it.

I'm a natural redhead. The colorist asked questions and used my photos to create my color. It was better than the in salon color and so much more affordable. By bestie applied my color with the kit. Great experience!
I requested a slight change in my color and the result was perfect. This is the feature I like best about this brand. It truly is custom made. Gives my hair great body and really appreciate that everything I need is right there in the box. Though it is pricey, I will order again.
Usually hair color burns my scalp but with these products I'm able to color my hair without any side effects. Keep up the great work. Oh yes, by the way, I love the color you mix. Spot on.

love my color... med brown with Mahogany tint. This product definitely lasts longer then color bought off the shelf. And might even be longer than salon ... however, it's easy, comes out looking like professional salon did it but cost 1/4 the cost.
This was the best color I have ever done. I usually try and buy from the regular store but my color always turns out too dark or too red...this was really really close to exactly what I wanted. All I did for next time was email them and say "a tish more brown next time". doesnt get easier than that

I received my Custom Hair Colour very quickly. I applied the colour as per instructions and although the colour took very well it is a little too dark. The tone is much better than any other hair colour I have used and my hair is soft and very shiny. I am impressed.

I have never received so many compliments on my hair even after going to a salon for years. This color is "me" and I love that it comes to my door and is ready to use. Easy to apply with great instructions helps me get it right every time. I'm a new customer but will be one for years to come.
My colorist waited until I sent a selfie which was great! After he had my selfie, he was able to see that the color for my roots would need a tad bit of red which I didn't know. But with this information, the color turned out seemless and beautiful! I LOVE it!

I am very pleased with this color! My hairdresser couldn't even match my shade. Products sold in stores are too dark, even if you can find a strawberry blonde shade.
