So far so good. Perfect color and it's true from roots to ends. First impression is this is not another "box color" product. The easy to use kit includes clear instructions, and all the "extras" you get at a salon at a fraction of the price. The only reason I did not rate it 5 stars now is to see how well the color stands up over the next few weeks. Stay tuned.
I had asked the colorist to mix a slightly lighter shade as I want to achieve a lighter colour over the next year but gradually. Colour was spot on with great instructions customised to help me achieve my long term aim. Very happy. I'm a customer for life. Thank you.

Gentle color, excellent instructions, and long-lasting! The color was perfect, and specified to my needs. I was worried about my fine, dry hair, and wanted to be careful. I can't say enough about how much I love my custom color. I'm naturally a strawberry dark blonde/light brown color. But I like to keep my hair fired up. This color is the perfect combination of red and copper. It looks so natural too. I'm in love.
I like being able to customize my color and not being limited to off the shelf only colors. And the price can’t be beat. There is a learning curve to coloring on my own but so far so good.
I really liked my color. It was a tad darker than I wanted and a few of my greys are still visible but overall I'm pleased and will continue to buy my hair color from eSalon.
I have to color my hair every 3 weeks. I have always bought my items at Sally's Beauty Supply. It was difficult getting all the color out of the tube. With this new product I don't have to worry about it anymore. Esalon packages all the materials for you to include gloves. The developer and color are pre-measured and when mixed, there is no lumps. The color is nice and creamy, ready to use. This is the second time I get it through the mail and I have received the product on time. The product is the best hair color product I have tried.
I have gone years without any color. I’m very fond of my platinum hairs...this color enriched my base color and blended my glittery whites....so pleased! My hair seems healthier AFTER this process - amazing!

I love eSalon! I have been using them for about 2 years now and I couldn’t be happier! I have greys in my roots and my part and their dye always gives me full coverage and lasts about 3-4months. Some salons don’t get that good. I am so happy with my color every time! Highly recommend!!

It took a couple of times to get to the shade I was looking for. The colorist are very easy to work with on changes, I love the color and hair feels great. It’s nice not to have to go to the store and hope they have the color in stock.
The color was EXACTLY what I was hoping it would be! I was so skeptical before it came; but, I was incredibly pleasantly surprised. I loved the way my hair felt ! I couldnt believe I just dyed it. My curly frizzy hair usually feels like straw the first week after dying. Really organic feeling products. I will stay a permanent client , especially once I get my custom hair color.

This product is easy to use, perfectly adjusted to the color I want, and complete with everything you need. They let you know in advance before sending the set so that if you need to make any changes you can, and setting up regular delivery is a snap.

I previously had a horrible red to blonde baylayage going on from a salon. With the custom color set I ordered from esalon I was able to first do a filler on the blonde and then dye my whole head a dark brown red color. I love the results and you never would have known I had blonde hair a week ago! And it was very easy to do, I did it all by myself! Will be ordering again!

EXCELLENT product...produces "natural" look, not an out-of-the box flat color and is extremely long lasting. Hair is shiny, rich and full of dimension. Also covers grays much more naturally and fully; again, long lasting in that regard. My personal selection in my first set ordered requires a bit of adjusting as per my preferences to not have too much dominance of the "accent" color, but that was based on my own initial selection and not the fault of my eSalon stylist. Great to work with a stylist who listens to my feedback and who will adjust according to my desired overall color and dimensional effects, with guidance and suggestions as needed.
Will never go back to Sally’s color. This stuff is the best I have ever used. And I’m so spoiled now having it sent straight to my door. Not only is the cover of grey awesome, the color it’s self was exactly what I wanted. Keep up the great work y’all! 💕
I am super happy with my entire eSalon experience! I used my first order two weeks ago and the color match was fantastic, I have been doing all over color and highlights in a salon for the last decade. I did the root only technique and it completely covered my grays and gave me natural highlights that blended really well with the rest of my hair. I missed a spot at the back of my head, I called to get advice and was sent a complimentary second order to redo the parts I had missed! Second time I got everything covered and avoided a 3 hour expensive trip to the salon. Highly recommend!
Been using eSalon for years. I always get compliments on my hair..thank you for such a great product that gives the same results each time. I love my color care rep who is always willing to adjust my color. If you use box color- STOP!! this is a better, easier, less expensive way to get results. I get comments all the time- especially from pros- they love that it's not just one color but many tones, to give movement and depth each time I color. You will not be disappointed.
I love the custom color. I looked and looked for the right color for years. This is my dream color and I get so many compliments on my dark firey auburn. The product has amazing coverage and minimal fading. Overall the quality of the dye and packaging items is high end. Only wish is the shampoo and conditioner did not come with tear off tops as I sometimes struggle with them.
Was secpeital in trying an E Salon product but I have to say I'm impressed. So far I'm loving the coverage (white/gray) & the color is next to a prefect match. The kit along w/ videos was helpful and included everything I needed. I'll be watching to see how long it last. fingers crossed : )When rinsining the color out I did notice I had somewhat of a difficult time. Not sure why.....but it seemed like it took a long time. At one point I thought it was not going to rinse out so I used shampoo to help with the process. Not sure if this hurt the color but it doesn't seem like it. Over all I am happy w/ the results and will use again. Maybe I'll go 1 shade lighter next time : ) just for fun!

I’ve been using your color product since you first began this company - it’s the best I’ve ever used. I used to go to the salon for my regular color, this is far better and only a fraction of the cost!
I finally love my hair! I used box color for 20+ years and I had no idea this was possible without spending an arm and a leg at a salon. I'm a new graduate in a medical field, inching into my 50s -- interviewing for jobs it is vital to look polished and present a youthful energy. Nothing ages you more than old, flat hair under harsh fluorescent lights in a hospital or medical office! I know gray is "in" right now and can be beautiful! It's just not for me (yet). I took a chance and went for my first eSalon kit. Wow! I highly recommend this system. Watch the videos. Read and re-read the instructions. Every single thing you need comes with your kit. Give yourself space and TIME to do it by the book. Instead of a half hour or so, as with my old box color, it took about an hour to do it right. I love the fact that the ends are treated differently! My color is so EVEN now! My hair literally looks like I had it done by an expensive professional -- Shiny. Smells great. Also, I don't have to participate in automatic delivery, etc. The entire system is 100% customizable, from the actual COLOR, to the way you choose to apply it, to how many weeks you want to wait in between touchups. I would recommend this eSalon system to anyone! You will not be disappointed.

The product is well packaged with easy to follow instructions. I did the sample color strand test so I knew what to expect when I completed the entire process. I like that you can either use the bottle or a bowl.
This was my very first time ever coloring my hair at home and I am super impressed with the results. I went through the entire process and then realized that we missed the hair right along the face line so I just went back and repeated the process with just that part of my hair and it worked out great.
I highly recommend this product. The results are excellent. I will only be using this product from now on and will no longer need professional coloring. Thank you!
My color is amazing. It looks just like the photo I picked. I love that I can make minor adjustments if I want to. Although I thought application was a little more difficult then they made it seem( especially the back of the head😳) my color came out awesome. I have not seen any spots that I missed. After trying the bottle method I think it will be a lot easier with the bowl and brush method. Also I would recommend getting the clips and cape. All in all an excellent experience that I will be doing much more often than coloring my hair at a salon.
Sooo pleased with this service. Couldn't be happier with quality and results. I've only ever used box dye for my hair and the grey coverage and lack of fading with this color has been impressive in comparison. The process from getting the box and using the color and then the results is all around good.
I also like how I can adjust the color for my next order.
Color is more runny than box dye so definitely use the skin protector but the wipe works well at removing the color as well if it does get on your skin.
Shipping costs to Canada is also unfortunate but cheaper than the salon and much better than retail box dye!
After my first order, the Colorist made some slight changes to my color per my request. It was EXACTLY what I wanted! Can't wait to order and do my hair again. SO EASY!
I have dark brown hair and decided I wanted to cover my summer light brown. I got mahogany brown. Absolutely love the color. I have colored my hair many times and while this was more steps then the box colors at the stores, so worth it. I will definitely be staying with this company.
When you use a box color from the drug store it always looks darker than the box. It looks like you colored your hair. This is the actual color of my hair. A nice medium brown with golden highlights. Love it
Your hair dye is incredible, usually after a week or two my gray hair is back in the roots and hairline and the color looks drab. Not yours, the color is still vibrant and I still don't see the gray sneaking back in just the best hair dye on earth bar none. Even in salons where I went to have my hair done professionally and even they can't come close to the quality of your product. I can't say enough about your product I just love, love, love it.
