A bit difficult to applyNew to me - separating and defining the line to start and stop color was a bit challenging - I had to ask my husband for help. The color was nice though, and did not lighten to red/orange as other colors do. I liked the multi-color mix between light brown and dark blonde it gave. Absolutely zero grey coverageMy last try with esalon. I have white hair coming through at my temples and they are hard to cover. I get some coverage most of the time but fades quickly. Custom color no goodCustom hair colour great price but that's all. My hair was orange instead of a lovely burandy red. A big bunch of hair also fell out. Completely wrong colour, wouldn’t wash outThe box and presentation was great, was really impressed and excited to get started. The dye smelt a little fishy but was easy to apply. Once the timer went off I spent over an hour trying to rinse out the colour, it was impossible. The water still wouldn’t run clear and I gave up before I broke my neck holding it under any longer. When I dried my hair I realised the colour was so unnatural and like a bright purple/red! I asked for brown/auburn. I’ve honestly had better results from a drugstore brand. Great color matchingSo to start, I would say I was a little upset my order was way late. I was patient and did get another order shipped out after they contacted me about it. Which was nice that they asked if I had received it yet or not. Customer service was great and my questions were always answered within a few hrs it seemed. The product itself is good. I like the color I got and they did a fabulous job matching ( I have dark brown hair). I tried both ways of applying and prefer putting it in a bowl and using the brush. That’s about where the issues started for me. It says to fill bowl or bottle up with water and pour on head in the shower and rub that in. Well when you do that the product goes everywhere. I happen to have an all white shower curtain and it got on it. 🤦🏻♀️ The next time around I used my shower sprayer and just bent over the tub. It was better but still made a mess. I’m thinking this step is just going to be messy. I didn’t care for the shampoo or conditioner. The results are good. I wouldn’t say my hair looks like it does after my salon visit. My hair definitely wasn’t as shiny or feel as soft. Actually seems like it might be a bit frizzy but I won’t blame that on the color as of yet as I’ve only used it twice. After I thought about it, it’s cheaper for my colorist to do it because she gives free haircuts. Color did not cover my graysI had them add additional coverage for my grays but the color never covered. This was worse than any box color. I had no intention of using them again and then without my permission a few weeks later they sent more product and took money my from my account without my permission. It seems I unwittingly must have signed up to a rolling contract. It was worded like a survey asking when I would be thinking of colouring my hair again. I have red hair. Who’s listening?The “made for me color” failed. It had very little effect on my hair. I wanted lighter hair and it actually made my hair subtly darker. I tried the color on my eyebrows. My eyebrows are blond so there’s no reason it wouldn’t work right? It had zero effect on my brows. Im confused? The one thing I can say is that the smell is pleasant and my hair feels silky smooth. But please help red heads. We are color challenged. LieferungMeine erste Lieferung war mit Farbe verschmiert, sieht aus als seien die Flaschen offen. Ich bin sehr enttauscht und weiss jetzt auch nicht ob man es noch so benutzen kann. Habe auch sehr lange fuer die extra kosten auf die Lieferrung warte muessen. Nach einer Woche war das Ersatz Color Set angekommen. The only reason I ordered online was due to the star reviews this website had. HorribleThe colorist took it upon herself to change my color. Extremely unhappy especially since it came out purple! Tolle Verpackung, Farbe na jaDas Set kam in einer tollen Verpackung an. Das war es aber auch schon. Die Handhabung ist umständlich, da man Ansatzfärbung und Einarbeitung in die Längen einzeln mischen muss. Zum Abschluss MUSS man noch alles umständlich aufschäumen, was eine Sauerei im Bad verursacht. Die Grauabdeckung ist zwar gegeben, aber das habe ich auch von wesentlich günstigeren Farben, die ich bei dm erhalte. Ruined my hairThe color was very nice and ashy. It remained a nice color without turning brassy. Unfortunately a ton of my hair broke off/fell out. Brad Mondo, Why Do You Forsake MeI thought I could trust Brad Mondo with my life, but he was so wrong about this recommendation. I asked for all over color in black. I followed the instructions to the T, but my roots did not pick up the color AT ALL. The ends were the color I was expecting. I thought I didn't leave it on long enough so I tried again with the second bottle. I left it on for over an hour and still NOTHING stuck to my roots. Now it is even worse because the ends got darker (black) and the roots stayed the same (redish brown). I wish I could post the picture here, it looks like I have roots that have been grown out for years, halfway down my head is a crystal clear line where the color stopped picking up. I'm so sad I did this twice for nothing. How in the world can you put pitch black color on your whole head and have the roots pick up nothing. I am perplexed. ConsistencyI like your product very much and having the choice to customize the color is great. My problem is the consistency. I can't put it on using the bottle method, it is too thick and does not come out of the bottle. So I have to brush it on, which is very hard, if you do it yourself, because you cannot do the back. this did not cover my greyI have white and grey hair. I left this on for 30 minutes per the instructions and when I washed it out I still had grey roots! Color wasnt right.Too much ash. My hair had a taupe look to it, rather than rich brown w/ warmth from gold. I also naturally have red hilights and my hair grabs red, so I don't think I would want any added ever so slightly, but definitely no ash. Just didn't work for meAs excited as I was to receive my order was as quick as i was disappointed when done. My natural hair color is dark brown. I normally dye my hair blue black using store bought hair dyes. Loreals, garnier etc. I decided to try ESalon for a different easy peazy flow. Everything is included, instructions, gloves and all necessities needed for hair dying. And although that is a huge plus. After two tries. I am disappointed at such with the color result. When I received my box everything was perfect. ESalon presentation is perfect. I mixed color and followed directions. (The scent of the dye is very strong. SO PLEASE MAKE SURE U ARE NOT DYING YOUR HAIR IN A CLOSED IN ROOM OR A SMALL BATHROOM. Ventilation is key while dying your hair.) Waited the appropriate time and rinse following all steps including adding water to remaining die and applying it. But once rinse and dried. The roots of my hair where light brown. I was shocked because the die was black all around but for some reason it lightened the roots of my hair all around. So I thought maybe I received the wrong color? Not sure. So, I reached out to my hair colorist Emilie/Amelie sorry if I misspelled your name. And she was great ! Explained to me that maybe something needs to be adjusted in formula and so forth. She sent me a new order! Order was received within a week. So Thank you for that! Gave it a second shot and now my hair is no longer light brown but its dark brown. I'm not sure if there is something missing in the formula. But I have nice, soft, slightly wavy hair. And never have I had this sort of problem. So I find it a bit weird. Chemie CocktailDas Paket mit Farbe und Zubehör machte einen super ersten Eindruck. Jedoch, nach dem ersten zusammen mixen der Farbe hat man einen beißenden Geruch in der Nase. Dies hat sich leider komplett durchgezogen, sehr unangenehm! Abgesehen von der Verschmutzung drumherum, wenn auch vorsichtig alles gemacht wurde, lief die Färbung ok. (Je n'ai pas appréciée du tout surtout vue le prix pas loin de 3× plus que l'essai) et puis ayant été plutôt satisfaite de la 1ère je me suis dit c'est pas grave. Et la ... très déçue de la couleur ! Alors oui ce sont de jolies couleurs, très lumineuses, la box est très complète, il ne manque rien cest vraiment bien fait ! Mais je voulais une coloration très cuivrée et elle l'est moins que la 1ère qui était déjà juste ! Le kit est très bien et complet mais a près de 30€ pour une couleur qu'on fait chez soit je me demande pourquoi pas aller chez le coiffeur, plutôt que de s'embêter ! Didn’t really work on my hairI have extremely thick hair and I left the color 45 min just to be sure it really soaks in but a little disappointed I barely see any changes from my natural black color My friends couldn’t tell I had a color at all. 2 different shades for roots and ends?My hair is pretty much one color of dark brown all over with some natural undertone of red. I ordered dark brown color dye and specified my hair was long. i received two bottles of dye. one was marked dark brown and the other was marked golden. the instructions where to use the dark brown on my roots and the golden on my ends. i was very hesitant and confuised as to why did i receve golden in the fisrt place. I wa sso desperate to dye my hair and my grey's were out of control that i went ahead and just didi it. after drying i noticed the roots were a very dark brown and ends were light brown. its not horrible and super noticble , and I'm not sure what went wrong if i ordered wronf or there wa smiscommunication? I am curently waitting for a color specialist to call me and discuss. I will try one more order and then decidie if I will continue. I would like to add that the priduct itself seems very good and the smell of shampoo and conditioner sample pack it comes with is very nice! I was disappoibnted with the box it came in. outcomeHello, I am very disappointed with the outcome. I followed instructions and had previously indicated I needed gray coverage. I also have very fine hair so I have to wait to re-dye it. Not greatI really liked how the product was packaged and the detailed instructions made it easy to know how to apply. Unfortunately, even following the directions exactly, the root color is Not in anyway a dark blonde , more a medium blonde and looks nothing like the color choice I made online. I would be ok with the slightly lighter color but it also did not cover grey hair in my hair line. The Color is BeautifulThe color is beautiful but it doesn’t last long at all. No matter how long I leave the dye in or how much I saturated my hair while coloring the color bleeds out almost instantly. Very disappointed. Gray Hair Still ShowingThis is my 2nd time ordering your hair color and unfortunately again, I'm disappointed. I just finished coloring my hair specifically adhering to the directions and my gray hair is still showing up. I understand that not all of them would be covered, but at least a high percentage of them according to your advertising. Now I have to spend more money on either another product or at the salon. Color seem weakThis is my second time using esalon. I like the customer service but both times the colors that I got were no where near what I had anticipated. Maybe this is something good for color matching your current color to hide grey's but not so much if you want to change your color. Not happy with my root color or the ends color. Leider enttäuschendIch hatte mich sehr gefreut, die personalisierte Farbe auszuprobieren. Leider bin ich mit dem Ergebnis überhaupt nicht zufrieden. Die Farbe riecht sehr stark chemisch und brennt unangenehm auf der Kopfhaut. Das Ereignis war viel zu dunkel. Ich habe mir eine Haarfarbe bestellt.Schon beim Auftragen der Haarfarbe nahm ich den extrem beißenden Geruch war. Nachdem ich alles genau nach Anleitung machte, merkte ich, dass ich sehr viele Haare verloren habe. Seit vielen Jahren färbe ich meine Haare selbst mit verschiedenen Produkten. Ich kann mich nicht ein einziges Mal erinnern, so ein agressives Produkt erworben zu haben, dass die Haare ausfallen. Just Horrible...I am really unhappy, this product didn't work at all. I gave one star, just because the chat customer service was very helpful, but if there was a "0" star raiting, I would not hesitate to use it. The color specialist never reach out to fix my color! I was really disappointed, I went from light brown to an ugly dark brown. Now I have to pay to get it fix and go back to my color.
