Retail Development Specialist (Customer Service)

eSalon is looking for a Retail Development Specialist to play an integral role in supporting our retail colorist team in developing and testing new hair color service offerings. The ideal candidate will have outstanding customer service skills with the ability to sell and upsell, be detail oriented, have a passion for beauty, and enjoy helping clients look and feel their best.

Responsibilities

Perform a moderate volume of outbound warm and cold calls with the purpose of converting leads into salon clients
Book and manage salon appointments on a daily basis
Proactively build effective working relationships with clients and colleagues to ensure best customer outcome
Maintain daily spreadsheets and light data entry
Analyze data for trends
Evaluate potential client profiles using basic hair color knowledge
Show openness to new ideas; listen to others and objectively consider other ideas and opinions
Work on special projects or other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Strong customer service skills and phone etiquette required
Experience with salon booking and salon booking software preferred
Experience in client related phone sales and consultative sales preferred
Ability to sell and upsell products and services
Intuitive about clients’ complex needs and concerns; provide appropriate solutions
Flexible; able to adapt and shift focus on various projects with ease
Ability to maintain positive focus within a multi-faceted client base
Available to work weekends
Some knowledge of Google Docs and data entry is helpful
Strong verbal and written skills
Be able to uphold eSalon values and be a strong ambassador for the eSalon brand
