How do I determine how well my hair takes color?
The resistance (or porosity) of your hair determines how well it takes color. This information helps us formulate a color and processing time for your hair.
Most hair takes color normally because it has a normal porosity. If you're unsure about the porosity, it's most likely normal. Your hair is considered resistant if it is glossy, wiry, and slick to the touch, and does not receive color well. If your hair is fine, it most likely absorbs color quickly and fades faster than normal hair.
