Bad time to get it wrong !I-Don’t like leaving bad reviews for Business, however, they dropped the ball big time! I feel it is important for A company to get it Right, if they are selling the concept of self-coloring your hair at home. Where if you bought your color at a supply store you would know what you purchased! Not so here! You are at their mercy, believing you have bought the same color. This is especially true, when you deal in any kind of red highlights or coloring! Reds deposit the most pigment and is the most difficult to reverse, without major problems! I have this problem! The fact last are, I bought hair color four times prior and was very happy !, I was feeling comfortable in their ability to provide me with the same product each time ! Well NO THAT DID NOT HAPPEN. Here are the facts! - [ ] My daughters' wedding is in Texas this weekend. I'm in Ca. And colored my hair as always . - [ ] Ordered. the same hair color the last four times. 34/dark blonde 1,/8 copper, and the other is ash. Hair turns out strawberry blonde - [ ] My daughter offered to apply it for me. while I the color looked the same when pouring them together. - [ ] My hair color is strawberry blonde and is long. - [ ] For this last order, I didn't look at their % of color, it had always been great before! My normal ordered was 3/4% dark blonde, 1/4 ash blonde 1/8 copper! 20% vol. - [ ] This time I was sent 1/2 Medium Brown 1/2 COPPER RED! 10% volume. - [ ] No BLONDE! That's it! No blonde whatsoever. No lift! I was horrified. My daughter cried, thinking she did it! Kinda looked like a dark carrot top! Underwhelming resultsNice packaging and “value added “ with personal instructions, separate roots and lengths color bottles, and some nice extra tools. But I’m not that excited about the resulting color and condition of my hair. I went with a cool beige blonde because my hair pulls orange and I have very hard water that makes any golden tones brassy looking. And I HATE brassy tones with a passion! My natural color is very ashy “bronde” and warm colors do not suit my pinkish complexion. I thought this would be pretty close to my natural color(max one level lighter, but I have 50% gray so thought it would work well). I followed all instructions and have a lot of past experience with coloring my hair. This didn’t cover my grays very well, looks much warmer than expected, and my hair feels dry and damaged. I used the light set kit afterwards and those highlights also turned out pretty brassy except for the ends (which had previous highlights). I’m thinking of trying one more time with the most ashy tone and requesting more gray coverage in the formula if possible. COLORThe color is Black on the ends but more of a Red tint at the roots and on my grey hairs. I don't like that at all. Don’t waste your time, Customer Service won’t respondI sent pictures of my hair prior to my custom color being created and provided the details of the dark brown hair color I was seeking and it still wasn’t right. I emailed about how unsatisfactory your product was and Ive NEVER heard from anyone. Still a week later, no response. You email me every couple of days trying to sell me something but you can’t reply to my issue via email. I finally just gave up and cancelled the auto ship and when the second shipment arrives I will return it to get my refund.
