Love it!I have found it very challenging to find a dark brown with red/copper tones that isn’t too brassy, fades too quickly (especially from my ends), or is almost burgundy looking... until eSalon changed the game! (I’m naturally a light dishwater brown, but prefer a bit darker and more red to work with the fair skin and eyes). I am very happy with the color, quality, and especially the price! I believe in the benefits of utilizing professional stylists, but this teacher-mama finds salon coloring cost prohibitive. Can’t speak to the gray coverage, but the sparse few at my temples still aren’t showing, and in general the color hasn’t noticeably faded three weeks later! An immediate rescue!While I typically salon color my hair, during COVID-19 I found it was necessary to attempt to find another way. I am probably 75% grey and unfortunately I did not get the amount of full coverage I was looking for. Some of this may be attributed to my inexperience....it has been a long time since I have done it myself! But overall color shade, health of hair after coloring were all positive, as was the kit. It's not brassy!I love that this lightest blonde is not at all brassy and looks very natural. I like it very much and will continue using it. Since this is a first for me - coloring my own hair - I'm terrible at the process, but somehow getting it done! Felt like I was cheating on my hairdresserI love my hairdresser and have been her client for 30+ years, but the last few years I noticed the price going up small amounts each time. I was on the internet and an ad came up for esalon, I found it very interesting and had to research more. As much as I loved everything about esalon I was still nervous and went back to my stylist. Then Corona happened so I thought what a perfect time to try, and my hair really needed doing. I should mention I haven't colored my hair in 4 months. It was easy to order and fun. When it arrived it came in a cute box and the bottles had my name on them. The instructions were easy to follow and came with a sticker to hang on the mirror. The dye went on very easy and smelled just like the salon. The toner blended the roots with the ends and did a terrific job. The kit comes with 2 little packets of shampoo and conditioner, the shampoo was fabulous I never had a shampoo that had so much lather, the conditioner was just ok. Perfect color!Using this custom color was a new experience but the results were worth it. I just wish the grey around my face had held color a little longer - just two weeks after coloring the grey is showing through at my temples. But the color is exactly what I was hoping for, its rich, has depth and my hair feels wonderful! Brilliant colour match!So pleased with the hair dye, I sent a photo of myself in natural light taken outside and made sure I used a mirror while colour matching my hair to the online swatches, when it arrived I was worried as never done this before, anyway applied to just my roots and my hair line to cover the grey and waited the time and washed it off and dried it and can't believe the colour match, it looked really dark brown the dye when on so was trying not to panic and stick with it but it came up the perfect light brown blonde, not even a line to show the join!
