Horrible product. It left no color, only frizz. I had to cut my hair to get rid of it. The amazing conditioner didn't even help. I have wavy hair but it was a brillo pad after I used this. If I could give it minus stars I would. Save your coin.

My objective was to minimize the “red and brassy” tones my hair turns after several weeks. The tint rinse turned my hair a brassy red. It was a total fail. Sadly disappointing.

This product didn't really do anything for me. After reading great reviews on it, I was disappointed. I think I had the wrong color...(golden) it brought out red tones which I did not want. I'm not giving up though...I am trying the warm beige on my next order, so hopefully that will work better.

This seems to cut out a bit of the yellow tones in my highlights but the product itself is really runny like water, makes it a bit trickier to pour out without getting too much out... Also in a plastic tube which I'm trying to steer away from.

I have had a brashness to my hair for quite some time and I was hoping to find a product to eliminate the red without coloring my hair. I seen some mixed reviews about this product and hoped this was it. I tried it two times. First I left it on for 4 minutes and the second time 10 minutes. Still no difference. I gave it 2 stars because my hair was very soft after.

I did what was told but didn't see any difference in color. Wont get that again. Also did not like the camo spray as by the time I was using it it was not close to the rest of my hair so it was very noticable.

The color leaves an auburn hue that doesn’t mesh well with deep brown hair. It made my hair look cheap looking but luckily it faded after 4/5 washes. I don’t recommend it.

I was super excited to get this product and have pretty golden highlights, but it wasn’t as good as I thought it would be. It didn’t show in my hair unless I stood in the sunlight. And even then, it was barely anything. It might just be because my hair is a dark blonde, or dirty blonde, and it probably just didn’t take in my hair, but I had been really excited for it, and it didn’t work out how I wanted it to. I’m just glad I didn’t waste too much money on this product.

I used this product thinking it'd give me a colour boost and stepped out of the shower to find BRIGHT red patches throughout my hair. It appeared to have not spread evenly when massaged in and it was very obvious! I was very upset and had to wash it a lot before they faded. Disappointed and too scared to try use it again incase the same happens!

This product is great for intensifying red color! My only comment would be to NOT use it with highlights!! Mine turned pink for awhile until the tint rinsed out and faded. Now I’m scared to use again. Would be great for all over color.

I have light brown hair that is starting to get a little red in the sun so I was looking for a product to take away the red tints, but was having trouble finding something for light to medium brunettes! After reading all the 5 star reviews I was really excited to get this product in the mail! Unfortunately, my hair doesn’t look any different after 3 consecutive days using the product for longer than the recommended 2-3 minutes. The 3 stars are for super fast shipping speed, great presentation, and because the product does make my hair very smooth and easy to brush! I’ll have to keep looking!

I guess I didn’t understand that this worked just like the toning mask only it doesn’t condition your hair. I thought it was like a typical rinse that colors your hair. Maybe just add conditioner to this

Not sure Im seeing a big difference in between coloring.
it turns my hands darker and has stained my bathtub (easy to clean with bleach!)
but I don't notice a big difference in covering my gray in between color.
i'll prob just continue with the camo spray.

I have tried using this twice now and I just don't seem to notice a difference. I tried using more the last time I used it and then my hair felt waxy. It may be that I didn't get it rinsed out well enough. Not sure if this is something I will purchase again.

It can be very messy. Make sure you rinse well after applying this tint. It easily colors scalp, tiles and towels. Adds a rich hue.

This is pink - not purple. My understanding is that it's purpose is to tone down the brassy colors....it simply deposits pink/purple. The shampoo itself HAS to be put directly on all of your hair if you want even coverage of color, assuming you can use a normal amount and simply "shampoo" it in to your entire head is a mistake. I had a pink top and brown bottom the first time I used this. That being said, if you have a fair amount of hair, this tube doesn't last very long like a normal shampoo of the same size would.

I do not like anything this blue or purple in my hair! After rinsing my hair felt better but I think I glowed. I will not use this rinse. I also felt that it took some of the nice color I just put in, out as in made my hair seem much lighter in color, I do not want glowing hair. I want a nice soft color.

It does keep the reds at bay and helps prolong the color and shine. A little goes a long way, so one can justify the cost. However it causes worse knots in my hair than usual and the conditioner doesn’t get them all out. Worse, it stains all the things it drips on. It is very runny and caused staining on the windowsill when it was lying down and closed!

My thick wavy hair has quite a bit of brass from sun lightening. I've used this three times now with minimal difference. It is also quite drying. I plan to try again, maybe leaving it on longer than the 5-10 minutes that I previously tried. Oh well.

I think the product is good in look and feel but it hasn't modified the red tones in my semi-permanent 'chocolate brown' color that I used about a week and a half prior to trying this product. I was hoping it would work by my hair seems stubborn. ;)

This product has a ton of great reviews so I was hoping it would be great for me too. I have naturally very dark brown hair with a lot of thin blondish highlights all over. This product didn’t do anything for the brassier sections of my hair but instead turned the lighter blonde sections of my hair green. The tint has now washed out and my hair is back to how it was before, but I bought two bottles which are now going to go to waste.

I did not notice much of difference after using this product. Also, the directions did not specify to use gloves, so I applied with bare hands and the product stained my hands red. I would recommend using gloves when applying!

I followed the instructions and all, but I haven't noticed any -- well, noticeable difference in the hair color after using the tint. It could be me, but I've used it twice a week, as instructed, but I've got grays peeking out already :(

I used to use this product once a week in between coloring but at some point about 6 months ago, they must've changed the formula and I don't like the new version. It never made my hair soft, I always used conditioner at the same time, but after the revamp, it actually made my hair very tangled and unmanageable, regardless of the conditioner. Would love it if it goes back to the old formula.

I have my level 7 ash brown hair professionally colored to an 8 natural but vibrant copper. Red does not want to stay on my hair, and the lower ends lighten significantly with every shampoo. I bought this to keep the color after each wash. The first few times I used it as instructed, and it did absolutely nothing. Before giving up, I tried sitting in the tub for an hour with this stuff in my hair. And it worked! But the consistency is so liquid that the application was very uneven. I have to use about a quarter of a bottle and continually work it into my hair for an hour to get an okay result.
I think what many of us need is not a tint rinse, but a semipermanent gel for maintenance. I would rather do a semipermanent gel weekly than spend an hour every 2 days using the tint rinse. Hoping that eSalon looks into that. I'm now trying out some different brands that have copper semipermanents.

I am not really sure what good (if there's any) this product did to my hair. This made my hair feel super dry, like the texture of a broom. It didn't help with getting the "rich brown" color that I was promised. Ridiculous!

The directions claim that conditioner will not be needed afterward, which was not true. If you have long hair conditioner is essential. The color was alright but not worth the effort.

This did not work. Even left if for longer. Still nothing but a mess in my tub.

No I would not recommend this product. Color was so far off. Not darkest brown, I got orange hair.

I really didn't see any difference and then I'm upset that it was on sale and I didn't get the sale price for it when I put in my basket it was fifteen bucks but I was going to remove it and then I just seen that they cut the price in half. So i left it in and then when they finalized they charge me the full price i dont think that right i thought it was going to adjust..

I am using the "copper" and it has an overall pinkish tone and has shifted my ginger color into the cooler red/pink spectrum. Not good. :(
I guess I need something that is more of a "Golden Copper" unfortunately there isn't an option for that.
The product smells and feels great though.

I find it works best when you add it to conditioner & keep in about 5 minutes. It’s not as streaky. As for the color… It’s more red then advertised. I will probably try a different tint next time.

Did not do a thing to lessen the brassy tones in my hair, I even left it on extra long, maybe i didn’t use enough idk. But, I wouldn’t try again anyway because it made a lot of hair fall out, like a lot, & made the texture of my hair afterwards horrible. Felt stiff & dried out, even after conditioning. Waste of money if you ask me, very disappointed.

Really dries out my hair

I really wanted to like this product since I was looking for a refresher to add a bit of shine and color in between salon visits. I generally only color my roots between salon visits so this seemed perfect.
Unfortunately it left my hair extremely dry and dull looking. The opposite of what it was supposed to do. I am trying to get some moisture back into my hair but even after two washes it still feels dry and hard to comb through. I can also not really tell a difference in color. I’m really disappointed.
