I haven't really seen any difference after using this three times. I understand it isn't really suppose to dye your hair but the package says it should give it a boost.

The jury is still out on this one. I do not really see any difference when I use it. My grays around my edges, which is really the only place I have grays, still shows through. Maybe it’s not meant for this. I’m not sure, but it’s not getting the job done for me thus far. I will more than likely not purchase this product again.

Be ready to be hounded to death for money if you ever place a hold on your account. They tried pulling money from a bank account I had closed for a YEAR and their Facebook comment employee was snide and had no idea what she was talking about. Go with Madison Reed instead. They're professional, polite, and not thieves.

The shampoo makes your hair feel brittle until you get conditioner onto your hair. I originally had brown. Changed to a copper red but didn't enjoy it. Back with a warm brown. And it just looks so much healthier.

Very disappointed with this product. Ordered golden and light brunette. Neither of them made any difference to the colour of my highlights but they left my hair in poor condition and super frizzy. Would not recommend or use again. Bought similarly priced product elsewhere that made vibrant difference and left hair feeling lovely.

The directions on this toner said to apply to the ends of my hair however my roots needed the toner. I used it on the roots and it might have helped? My roots are still red instead of dark brown.

If you are using this to cover the gray, well it doesn't. It darkens the all over color which doesn't fade. So I will not purchase it again.

I really tried to like the product- I’ve been using it 2-3 x a week and I’ve seen no difference. I purchased the dark brunette tint rinse, and after 3 times of trying to use it I decided to keep it in my hair twice the recommended time before washing it out. I was desperate because my hair is getting so brassy and nothing would work. Still after trying to keep the tint in longer, no difference. I was very excited to buy more products from here because I fell in love with the color dye I purchased, but it seems like their other products aren’t as good.

First let me say that I was only able to use the tint twice. The first timeI used it I did not see much difference, but I was distracted by the rash it gave me. I used it one more time to be sure it was actually the tint that caused the rash. It was! So I am unable to make a comment about how well it works.

I have natural dark brown hair with a lot of red tones. I have dyed my hair dark blonde for a while and I noticed the tint does not help my hair. It may work on blonde or natural blonde hair but not on mine. It’s hard for my natural curly hair to catch the color correctly and moisturize. This tint makes my hair feel a little stiff after I use it.

I believe my hair color is to light of a color now due to the white grey that a tint rinse in the warm beige is too yellow for me. Possibly a darker shade would blend it down?

I have mixed reviews on this product. I am not sure that it enhances my color significantly. I don't like the texture of my hair after using it. My hair is thin and fine, but I will continue to use it since I have a tube and an a half left.

This just did not neutralize the red, and I feel it enhanced the orange brass. Sorry this did not work for me, it's in my closet and will be tossed out.

This product definitely has pigment in it, but I didn't see any enhancement of my faded color, even though I used it a few washes in a row only a week after coloring. I tried mixing it with my hair mask and it left a little color behind, but it mostly just dripped out onto my towel while my hair was wet.

I have faded copper hair that I got done the week of Halloween. I thought this would just boost it or enhance it. Nope. Now I’ve got bright orange hair, with patches of darker orange and stripes of pink. It’s been washed multiple times, and some of it has come out, but it has ruined my hair. I’m fixing it this week. DONT BUY IT.

Ce shampooing violet est très efficace, par contre il est beaucoup trop liquide... Du coup beaucoup de gaspillage car difficile à doser et à appliquer (ne serait-ce que dans le passage main-tête on en perd...), Et mousse difficilement...

I don't really see much difference in the color; perhaps a bit more shine, but not much, and no real golden shine. And it leaves may hair feeling really coarse. I follow it with an extra strength conditioner that I had left over from an old drugstore hair color, and that helps a bit. But by and large, disappointing.

Did not care for this either since my custom color was the wrong color. This was a waste of my money also. The dark shade they sent was to dark for this to make any difference. Make sure they mix your custom color correctly before you purchase any additional products.

My stylist suggested this to me as I was worried about brassy tones after my strand test, so I ordered it. As my blonde highlights are still growing out, I liked how it maintained their cool tone.
But my issue is that this was my first time doing a root touch up and this product hasn’t toned down my orange roots after two uses. Since you’re only supposed to use it two times a week, I’m not sure what to do now. I’m unhappy with the warmth of my roots but I don’t want to damage them by re-dying. I’m used to going to the salon and I simply don’t know what to do to fix things.

The blue tone was really effective to neutralize my brassy color. However, it made my hair feel dry and frizzy. Would use it again if my hair liked it.

Damaged hair and didn't deliver results

I've now tried this product twice and had the same results each time. Major hair loss in the form of breakage and a huge clump, with overall dryness even after using a heavy conditioner after and the kicker... it didn't even tone my hair! I should have returned it after the first use, but held onto it thinking it could have been a fluke- finally had the courage to use it again and had a massive clump of hair come out after having little to no hair loss in the shower with my normal shampoo/conditioner routine. I 100% blame this product and again, I would MAYBE consider using it if it at least toned my hair but I did absolutely nothing.

Not for me. I tried it to color my grays and I am not sure it is effective for that. It did make my highlights brighter and it turns out that I don’t look great with a blonder hair color. It works well, it’s just not flattering on me.

Instead of a lovely copper I was after, it left my hair with a pink shade I didn't like at all. I'm just glad that it washed out. I do love the gold tint rinse however.

I was excited to find this product as I have great natural "white" hair. But I feel it tends to wash me out. So I have wanted a temporary product to add some pizazz. Unfortunately for me, this product only turns my hair a yellowish color and makes it look like a bleach job gone bad....It is a pretty good conditioner, but I use another product for that. So that is my experience, it did not create "gold" for me.

when looking for the old toning product I couldn't find it I contacted customer service who was very helpful however when she informed me I would use the tint rinse instead since they stopped carrying the toner when I looked at tint rinse it told me the warm was recommended I ordered and used yesterday and because it brought my grey out that I just covered (uggg) i will have to color again . I don't know if the suggestions are based on original profile but I've changed or adjusted my color several times and this was not the correct product for me.
Update: this product was still not for me but i want to thank esalon for making this right and giving me credit for the error. Thanks esalon...

Did take the Brassy yellow/ orange tones out . But i had purple splotches through put my hair ...:(. So frustrating , considering the other reviews were good and convinced me that it would take the brassy/ orange tones out and leave me with a nice light brown . Unfortunately that wasn't the case

I love eSalon’s dye but this shampoo color isn’t my favorite. I haven’t seen any results from it but I might not be using it frequently enough because it has a chemical smell and feels really drying. Love eSalon but wouldn’t recommend this shampoo.
