This is such a good toner shampoo. I took a gamble on th violet color for my highlights, and it works great, but now I need to get the red neutralizer because toning out the "brass" isn't quite enough for the red shade they've turned during the summer.

brings back the shine

I go as long as possible between colorings, so I use this once a week to bring back the shine. It is a little messy. You have to thoroughly wash your hands after, but the color Does come off your skin. Experience might be improved with glove use.

This product will help blend your regrowth until the next color. However, be careful on applying the product. Try to apply it only to your hair. It caused my scalp to flake when I massaged it into my part. Do work it through all your hair and leave on for the recommended time. Your regrowth will be tinted and blend in well with the rest of your hair.

I do like this product, as it jeeps my red hair a vibrabt red. It is a little drying for my super long hair though. I prefer a product that is ALWAYS out of stock on here. Annoying.

Not sure how this product will stack up I've used it twice and I'm not sure if I'm seeing much difference. But at the same token, I don't know how it will go. I mean it has to help maintain the color, right? So I will use it longer and see how it goes.

With vibrant "Red" color....after a few weeks........things start to fade a bit. No matter how well you take care of your hair....everyone knows Red by it's very nature, begins to fade. This is a nice pick me up. The only downside......while I get the "red" back......you will lose a little of the subtle "tones" in color.

This product made my hair incredibly shiney and deposited great color, but my long (waist length) blonde hair is fine and it dried out the ends. I gave it four stars for being an awesome product. If my hair was short Id use it all the time, but Im not yet ready to cut my long hair.

This is not the color I changed to but when I used it touch up the new color it left notes of red Mahogany highlights and my husband really liked the mix.

I liked it but I can't say I saw a lot of difference after using it. I'm going to try another color and see if I can notice a difference with that one.

I have dyed auburn hair and the color starts fading after 3 weeks or so...this product is fantastic, it keeps the color fresh and vibrant: also it's really easy and quick to apply and it doesn't stain the skin.

This is a great "get you through to the next color". Although recommended for once a week I normally don't start using it until about week 4 then ever other week

I had some fading in my color by the end of about 4 weeks.....I have short layered hair and gray to cover....this was suggested to use about twice weekly to tame that brassiness and it has worked....now I can almost wait 6 weeks to color again.

The Tinted Love is easy to use and definitely brightens up my color. It leaves hair feeling great, only downside, it only lasts from one shampoo to the next.

I love this product but am a bit confused- is there a difference between the copper mahogany and the mahogany copper? I have used both and have not noticed the difference?

I actually took the time to compare the ingredients in this to Devoted to Hue and the latter is better. This is good, not great. It will get the job done and travels better, so there is indeed a place for it.

Red hair colors all seem to fade a bit before it's time to re color. I use this once or twice a week the last week before I need to re color. It refreshes my color all over, but of course it can't deal with my grey roots. But I didn't expect it to. Will buy again.

Brightens the colour in between dye applications, have to leave on for longer than suggested and doesn't smell very good! Having said that, it is effective.

I am naturally a coppery redhead, but as I have gotten older my colour has faded to more of a dark blonde. Every month or so, I dye it a bright copper colour from the pharmacy, but the vibrancy fades within a week and my roots grow through pretty quickly as well. I tried this for the first time today (I am about 2 weeks away from dying my hair for the first time with the eSalon colour). It smelled gorgeous and applied really well. My hair felt a little dry and stiff after I had rinsed it but the finished result was shiney and brighter hair (which still looked natural). I look forward to seeing if the vibrancy increases next time I use it.

Keeps my hair looking bright red for so much longer, only issue is it runs out of the bottle quickly so sometimes I get more product than I actually need other than that amazing product.

This stuff was completely different than I expected -- but not in a bad way. I was expecting for this to be an after-the-shower kind of gel of some sort but you do use this in the shower. It goes on between shampooing and conditioning. When I went to squirt it out I was super surprised that it is pretty liquidy -- so just e aware of that before you squeeze too hard or something. Once you run it through your hair it thickens which is weird but kind of cool. I soon realized it was similar to a 2 in 1 kind of mixture. It got very soapy but when I rinsed it out my hair felt very smooth.

I like the coverage of this product, but I dont really like the mess. Around my fingernails get discolored. I guess if I used gloves it would be fine, but that seems like a lot of work to wash my hair. Maybe that would be worth the coverage I get from using it. Overall I like it and recommend it.

Red/copper tints always seem to fade more quickly - I've been wishing for something to lift and renew the vibrancy of my colour between treatments - now I only know it's time to do it by the roots (which aren't as starkly different either!)

this turned my hair orange, but I found out I was using it too often. I used it after every wash. now I use it every 3rd wqsh and it's fine

It didn’t do what it says it does. My hair was frizzy, dry and color didn’t improve. I was looking forward for this product to work, since my ends start getting dry after 2 weeks and hair color start losing its shine. Also, can’t find instructions on how to apply. It doesn’t say what amount to apply, it’s supposed to be a rinse but it’s foamy like a shampoo would be. It left my hair worse than what it was. I forgot to cancel it after my first bottle so I received a second one that I won’t use. At least for me, it didn’t work.

This will turn your hair, especially your roots, bright orange. The color you apply after it doesn't take out all of the orange. Do not recommend unless you want red-orange tones. I asked for light brown hair, I don’t know why red-orange would EVER be recommended as a color fill for light brown. I wish I had followed my gut instead of “trusting the process,” because this color couldn’t be further from what I wanted. I like almost every color on my hair. You all happened to find the one color I cannot stand. What a waste!
