100% guaranteed UNSATISFIED CUSTOMERI was a little nervous about ordering your product because I never order things online, change my hair color nor do I use anything other than my $2.97 box of Revlon bright auburn hair color from Walmart. My hair had taken on a Coppertone and I was hoping to maybe tone it down a bit so I figured I would try it and if it did not work the product was 100% guaranteed. After getting unsatisfactory results from the product I requested a refund. I was given a $10 refund in a $20 credit on my $30 purchase. I was told that because I used the other products that I ordered I could only be given a $20 credit which is completely ridiculous since those products or used with the hair color. Since I PayPal was only credited $10 I still owes $20 balance which in return was deducted from my checking account putting me in overdraft status which cost me another $30! I am so serious also let this product has not only done to my hair that's all I am left with product can I use $20 credit from a company I would never use again and definitely would never recommend to anyone! Your refund guarantee is completely misleading it makes no sense you are able to give me a $10 refund on my hair dye which obviously was used and you should be able to give me a refund on the $20 worth of product that went with it. I still intend to dispute this bill and intend to file a fraudulent charge against your company. I will also be filing with the Better Business Bureau as well as giving my bad review to as many people as possible online so that I can save others from the hassle that I've gone through. I paid $30 for the product I was unsatisfied plain and simple it should have been refunded to my PayPal the way it was paid... IN FULL! Not what I expectedThe color was great but it didn't cover all my gray at the roots, after following all instructions. I have stains on my face, arms, and bathtub that I cannot get out. I know the skin stains will come out, but I have a special finish on my tub and I can't use bleach. The Fumes!I will say this color is great, the packaging is beautiful but the fumes are toxic. I was coughing and wheezing through most of the process. I would highly recommend putting in the instructions to make sure to be in a well ventilated area. Great color fades quickly, hard to get the excess formula out of hairI adore the color but it fades very quickly. My roots often have a Ard time takin this formula. I have to shampoo and rinse it out about 3 times after coloring, because the formula cakes on and won't wash off!It ends up being crusty in my hair. Pros and ConsI like the color but it does not keep the grays colored for very long. It covers the grays just as long as the box kind that I buy for $9. Not sure that triple the price is worth: delivery, the stain guard, I just use Vaseline anyway. I would rather an extra pack of sulfate shampoo to make the color last longer, than the pack of stain guard. I have had it delivered 3 times so far, but am considering cancelling. Wrong colorI was looking for a honey kissed brunette and instead my hair is now copper brown. While I am happy it is lighter in tone from my natural color, the actual color is way too orange. color changeI had requested a lighter color and I got the opposite. I got a dark burgundy, I have washed hair a couple times now and the roots are orange. I sent an email out 5 days ago and no response. products are awesome but not sure what happened this time. Second time and still not happyI really really wanted to like this product. In fact even after not getting the results I wanted the first time I tried again. I loved how a colorist called me to see what we could do to get the results I wanted. And while the color is better, I cannot get over the nasty feel of my hair. It is not soft like it usually is when I use other products and my hair feels like it has a thick coating on it. It almost feels greasy yet dry at the same time. Soooooooo much plastic and dry hairThe colour seems OK but it's really dried out my hair even though I only did the ends for the last 5 minutes. I had to use my own shampoo and conditioner after the ones provided to get the knots out! Left my hair feeling extremely dryI was looking forward to this kit. Unfortunately, the dye left my hair feeling very rough and dry after the application. I have really short hair and the formula did not cover all the grays even though my hair was completely saturated with product. The final color was nice, but nothing out of the ordinary (I have obtained better-looking hair, color-wise, from store-bought dyes). Also, I wish there was a way of choosing the size of the bottle; I had so much left over even after having covered my entire head. I followed the instructions and used everything but it felt like a waste of product!! And it didn't even cover the grays!! Ugh. Updated my review to 1 star because the customer service attempted to remediate the situation by offering me free color. If only they would have read my review indicating that the product damaged my hair...oh, well. two strikes, you're outLook, I get the concept, I really do. Custom color? Yes please! The idea is terrific, the execution, not so much. My story: I went for this on a whim, even though I had a brand I was really happy with, and the first time through, the color was GORGEOUS. Second time, I asked for slightly richer brown. Instead, the dye turned my hair black. Alarmed, but understanding--hey, sometimes it happens--I requested to go back to my original, redder color. Checked the order, looked like they did indeed send the original mix. Then the dye turned my hair black again. So now I'm stuck AGAIN fixing the problem that their dye caused--and with very little logic, since the same mix should not have caused beautiful red hair the first time and BLACK hair the second. DullHi there, I colored my hair according to the instructions but I did forget to wrap my hair, sorry, I don't like the color maybe I am just used to my brighter tone with a little more refresh to the color but this is way too dull it is not shinny at all. It's soft but the color is not what I expected and it did not cover the grey very well. It could be too that I just take too much medications, I take quite a few,at least 10 different ones.I thinkI will cancel my account with esalon as of today 9-17-2019 Thank you for allowing me to try you product, maybe when I can get off of most of my meds I can be allowed to rejoin. DisappointedThis was my second order, which was supposed to be reformulated for better grey coverage. I assumed it was the same color however, it was much darker after applied. Did almost the opposite of what I wantedMy hair was dyed a warmer toned brown about 3 months ago. My roots were growing in pretty badly (naturally a light ashy color). I ordered medium ash brown. Followed the directions EXACTLY..my roots turned GOLD and the rest of my hair is just a darker warm brown. Didn’t do much for the shine and softness of my hair, but I’m way more concerned about this awful color. Didn't Cover Gray(white) roots at allI followed your insructions to the letter and applied extra product around my face and in part line, but the roots have very little color and after the second wash its almost as if I didn't color roots. No information provided on maximum coloring time -- is 30 minutes the actual maximum? Could I have left it on 45 minutes? Awful first time experienceI specifically gave instructions stating what i wanted and sent photo. Received a color that had nothing to do with what i wanted !! I look like morticia from the adams family ! Cant afford to get it corrected at hair stylist so i have to let esalon correct their awful mistake. Oh if only i had money i would definitely go to a professional !! I have never received a color expert resolution as per Johnny V. Response . Esalon was unwilling to do anything to help correct their mistake except to give me a credit for my first order. wow $17.00 dollars to correct a $400 mistake. Color came exactly how I DIDNT want itI’m sad to write this review as I 1. Never ever am the type of person to write out a bad review or survey, and 2. I don’t like to be mean in general. But I sadly was greatly let down with my kit. I ended up getting a hair color that was basically everything I said I didn’t want in a dye. I wanted the lightest blonde, but specifically mentioned I didn’t want anything that would give me ashy tones as that comes out really strong on my hair type for some reason. I was expecting something warm, golden, maybe even close to platinum. Yet I ended up basically be grey headed at 24 yrs old. I’m also having trouble finding a link somewhere where I can cancel my subscription, so I believe I’ve paid for two or three more of the kits that I absolutely have no use for, it’s just draining my bank account. I am more than positive that this service probably works GREAT for 90% of men and women that try it out. Dark!My hair looks dark! I wanted my hair to turn out lighter ( I wanted the red tones to show) I put that in my notes, before I got the product. I even sent a picture so my colorist could see how dark my hair was and she could know how much lighter I wanted my hair to get. It looks like my colorist didn’t read the notes because the color came out dark red. I wanted the red to show even when indoors! Not satisfied at all! I would like for my color to be lighter so that that red would show, even when I’m inside. My kids even said, “it looks the same!!” Ugh! I DON’T RECOMMEND THESE PRODUCTS.Okay. I am not satisfied with the product. I have very long hair and I specified it the first time I placed the order for my color service, it is assumed that there are 2 color pots in the box, but even so, this was not enough, I had problems with the color the first time because it was the same as the tone I already had and I wanted to darken it. I gave them a second chance, they sent me the color again with a different formula, I must say that this time my hair was dark. I applied the color 2 weeks ago and every time I wash my hair the color becomes lighter. Today my hair looks brown, not black as I wanted it. The duration of these products is very very bad because the color does not last at least one month. My hair doesn't look black today. and before they tell me it was because of the shampoo that I am using, I must tell them that I use a professional line for the care of my hair, it is called SEBASTIAN PROFESSIONAL. I really feel very disappointed, I trusted these products but to be honest I prefer to invest in a color service that is more durable and that does not have problems to apply it in all my hair (twice I told them that I have long and abundant hair and they didn't listen to me). Specifically said no gold.I wanted ashy , so when the breakdown of colors in my mix was seen I was upset there was more gold than ash. But I thought eh they are professionals. Great grey coverageI’m happy that the greys at my temples are gone but I don’t like the colour. It was supposed to be golden brown and it’s quite dark and coppery. Also, when I usually dye my hair it feels great and smooth after, not with this product. My hair isn’t smooth or soft. Haarfarbe mittelbraunFurchtbar. Sieht noch nicht Mal annähernd so aus wie auf dem Bild. Ich habe jahrelang in Drogeriemärkten nach einem geeigneten braun gesucht das keinen Rotstich hat oder kupferartig schimmert, weil mir das überhaupt nicht steht und mich gut 10 Jahre altern lässt. Ich bin fündig geworden, war aber mit dem Farbton nicht ganz zufrieden. Dann stieß ich auf eSalon. Hier wurde mir zu einer Farbe geraten die Ich mir nie selber ausgesucht hätte, da diese mir schon auf dem Bild zu rötlich aussah. Ich probierte es trotzdem....die Farbe ist sehr dunkel, schon fast schwarz und wenn Sonnenlicht drauf scheint schimmert sie Kupfer-ähnlich.... Katastrophe! Ich bin total enttäuscht. Pluspunkte gibt's einzig für die Konsistenz und Haltbarkeit. Die deckt wirklich graue Haare exzellent ab und lässt sich auch super Auftragen. Da kann das Drogerieprodukt nicht mithalten. Ansonsten sind die Farbergebnisse genau so scheiße wie bei jeder Billighaarfarbe (passt nie zu dem Modell auf der Verpackung) Ich werde mir hier definitiv keine Farbe mehr bestellen. Bummed OutI did the test first w/o incident, but when I did my whole head I had an abnormal amount of redness, itching and a burning sensation that lasted well after I washed it. I used the skin protector along the hairline etc. I’m afraid there is something that doesn’t agree with my skin. I’m really disappointed and not quite sure what to do. My hair is left orange and brassyI have light brunette hair and want a cool-toned colour to blend with my own hair colour, look natural and cover grey; sadly I have only ever achieved orange brassy tones with esalon colour. I have repeatedly told my colourist that warm tones are something I don't want, and constantly complained about brassiness. Their response is to just keep changing the colour within the light brunette family, even when I have asked their advice I have had no response from my colourist - no dialogue with them whatsover. I have also never benefited from the satisfaction guarantee that they advertise, despite never being happy with any colour I have had from them. After multiple colour changes I have just tried an ash light brunette, which bizarrely is the most orange and brassy yet. So I give up. I can get this same unwanted result from a store-bought box dye at less than half the price. If you are looking for colour with lots of warmth and copper/orange/red tones then esalon is probably going to be a good option for you. It's a shame really, the quality of the dye is good, the colour lasts and it leaves your hair in good condition. However, that isn't much help if the colour is totally wrong! Do not buyThis product severely damaged my hair. I have been treating my hair for years and never have I ever used a product that caused so much damage. My hair is falling out and feels so dry and damaged after using. The dye itself is waxy and is very hard to wash out, the color does not stick it fades out fast. If you want to pass out from chemicals be my guestThis is the end for me. I am cancelling today. My first semi permanent was great. I loved the box, the service, the color, the whole thing was easy. This time I got the permanent. I got 1/8 through the ends bottle before having to stop and 1/4 through the roots color before having to stop. Burning scalp, hot dye and the smell of ammonia was so bad I had to get everyone out of my house and turn on multiple fans. I can still feel it in my lungs. Never again. I feel sick. Not cool. They matched my faded current hair color and not the color I selectedI specifically stated I wanted a bold copper color and posted my current hair color that was dyed (I was disappointed by the current color I had). The dye turned my color no different color than it was previously colored to be. The result I got was a dark auburn... not an intense copper. Nice if they actually responded to any of my requestsThe color is pretty good. It is as expected and the quality is good. However, if you want to alter your color, you have to get hold of your "personal whomever". Yeah...they don't exist or could care less that you need help. Never hear back from anyone. EVER. So...went to Sally's and have figured it out on my own. Bummer though. I liked the convenience and consistency of the product. But if you like to change it up, there is no real easy way. Not happyMy hair didn’t look much different then before I colored it I followed instructions to the letter and it really didn’t look that good not much change and it washed out within weeks I’m not happy I’ve got better results with pharmacy colors. Wanted more mahogany/copper brown-flat color no shineThe process was super long and all of the effort to wash it out was ridiculous. It took numerous rinses to make my hair just feel normal. The color is a flat brown, no reds shown through, and my roots are a different color all together. I will have to have my hair professionally fixed. I have never disliked my hair this much in a very very long time. It's not shiny and extremely dry too. I have had to purchase a deep moisturizing mask for my hair just to manage it. I am just not pleased at all with the results. Wrong colorI have med. brown hair and for many years I been coloring it awesome reds! I told these people I’m a true brown but color red, my color they sent me, it made me dark brown 🤬 I wanted my formula to be a red color!!! Not the color I wantThe product itself is great. Wipes to remove dye on skin works great, didn't dry out my hair, didn't have any toxic smell, easy to follow instructions, and plenty of product to cover my long hair with excess still left for the final rinse (my hair is 1/2 way down my back). However, the color I want just does not seem possible with their formulas. I keep getting dark brown, when I want there to be noticeable purple in my hair. I was not happy.I followed the instructions to the letter and when I finished there was a distinct color differrence between the out grow and the rest of my hair. I wanted it to blend the colors. Not what I wantedI have been holding my April box for several months choosing to take a break from coloring. Finally broke as the summer months have lightened my hair, expecting this color to be a light/apricot is red, especially since I have had several adjustments made to make the color lighter and because I understand that you can just lighten dark hair without bleach that is in part why I stopped coloring for several months. Now I fish I had taken a before picture, I am a naturally redhead, some would say strawberry blond, which is back to where I was prior to coloring yesterday.
