Not satisfied with the "gray coverage"I followed all of the directions, step by step, but it did not cover the gray completely. About a few days later, I was back to square one. Not for meI wasn't crazy about my color. It was just blah and too dark. For the extra money, I thought it would be just amazing. I wanted a shade lighter and was told they couldn't do that but would send me more of the same. I had to email them several times explaining what I wanted. They finally came up with an idea and sent me another product. This time the color was too red. The colorist just doesn't seem to understand what I want. Zu TeuerDie Farbe war schon gut. Alles sehr ausführlich beschrieben. Es ist ganz komplett, mit Handschuhe/ Pinsel. Aber für eine dauerhafte Verwendung alle 4-8 Wochen zu teuer. Das Farbergebnis konnte ich nur mit eine vorhandene Pigmentierungsmaske neutralisieren, da es sonst zu orange geworden war. Unhappy with outcomeI am beginning to think that the color I am looking for, copper red, can only achieved by going to a salon. I did try the competitor first, only because I had not heard of eSalon. There was nothing coppery about the resultant color. It was auburn, and much too dark. My hair is lighter red after using the eSalon color, but still not what I am looking for. The kits from both companies are impressive. I want a refund!!!I requested a revision to my hair color several weeks ago. My last kit was supposedly revised. It was NOT. The color is still not right. It still does not cover greys. Good quality but not my colour :(Love this product for its brilliant packaging, everything personalised and the quality of the dye. My only issue is the colour didn’t come out as I had planned. Doesn’t cover templesYour product color is very nice however it does not stay on your head very long and within days the grey by my temples are exposed. I actually have much better coverage with clairol root rescue. Awful color!I got my package and was so excited to try this product. It came beautifully and carefully package but the color itself it's awful. I ordered a very basic color (Dark Ash Blonde), even sent pictures for the colorist to review and the end results are a disaster. It came orangy and light. I've been dying my hair for 15 yrs and tried several brands of color. I know this is not a base color 7 let alone an ash undertone. Extremely dissapointed! Shipping a ProblemColor never arrived. Called customer Service and order was resent. Order still has not arrived. Replacement color shipped 1st class USPS..... still waiting. Priority mail ,UPS or Fed Ex must be a problem but company does not care. Its been 2 weeks without color and a replacement is sent 1st class?? Tough on hairStuff smells like the stuff my mom used in the 90's. I was overwhelmed. Burn my hair and broke some off. I have a lot thinner hair now. Color was not the choice i picked. Color Not AccurateThis is my second time using eSalon. The kit is high quality and has everything you need. My initial color was Dark Brown (Neutral) and it was pretty accurate and performed well although it faded quickly, but since I have pink ends I requested a reddish brown instead. The second box I received had Red Pearl added to the dark brown. I was excited to try it, but once I had applied the color and washed it out there was absolutely no reddish tone to it and anywhere I had white hairs (I'm over 50% white hair as my profile reflects), it was a super light brown. Definitely not the color I wanted. I'm gonna need to adjustI wonder if something can be done to add potency (don't know the right word)--my greys are showing too quickly. When I get color touchups at the salon, they generally last about a month. eSalon lasted about 2.5 weeks. Supposed to be Ash Brown, Grays turn yellow, browns turn redthis color has been very disappointing. This is my 2nd attempt. My first attempt the color was prettier, but it just didn't cover my grays well. I'm 33 and I don't want to look so gray so I tried a reformulation and the gray hairs are yellow this time. didn't cover my grays on toproots colored but rest of hair did not take the 2nd bottle for some reason. the bottle for the roots looked more purple than the other bottle. During COVIDAll bad at home a disaster. Granted your site trying best. I asked for lighter but got darker. I asked for lighter. In the kit I got 3 gloves...? . The actual kit ok..just the color. My roots growing out lighter. No greys. And then trying to charge me again. NO WAY I talked with a colorist took pics of myself...asked for a shade lighter. A previous dye 4 months out not mine. I just wanted lighter like mine. Ok, I could have stripped the previous color but, growing out a short bob no issue. Got the shipment used as described. No change...actually darker. Texture the same. Schrecklicher Rotstich!Die von eSalon gesendete Farbe (mittelblond) wurde nach Anweisung aufgetragen und verwendet. Das Ergebnis ist schrecklich und ganz und gar nicht zufriedenstellend. Der Rotstich hat sich noch intensiviert. Offensichtlich sind der Farbe zuviele Rotpigmente zugegeben worden. Auch ist eine 20 %ige (=> 12%) Wasserstoffperoxid-Lösung für meine feines Haar viel zu viel. Dass es auch anders geht, sieht man an dem unteren Teil der Haare, die eine angenehme mittelblonde Farbe aufweisen und vom Friseur behandelt wurden. Besonders schwerwiegend ist, dass dies das zweite mal in Folge ist, dass das Ergebnis so schlecht ausfällt. Somewhat UnspecactularI think e-salon is a great concept, and everything works, from the delivery (I like being able to choose the intervals), to the simple packaging and easy-to-follow instructions. Customer service is great as well. My first attempt was admittedly a bit clumsy, but I managed to get the job done. People who are sensitive to ammonia odours may want to take note that the smell of the developer is repulsive and overwhelming - do your mixing and application with a window open! The colour was in the right ball-park, but veered a bit too cool, so I requested an adjustment on my next order. Everything leading up to and including application has gone perfectly fine. My main issue is what has happened to my hair since starting with the e-salon product. Initially the colour looked fine, but the texture of my hair went downhill pretty quickly. It became dry, fly-away, straw-like, and any bounce or body that I formerly had is completely gone. My hair simply hangs there now, regardless of what products I use (discontinuing the e-salon shampoo & conditioner helped improve things a bit). Another issue I have had is the way the colour changes as it fades. I wouldn't mind if it simply became less intense - that's normal. But instead the gold undertones in my shade slowly change to a very peculiar shade of brassy orange. Not having used other home colouring products, I have no frame of reference as to how this would compare to others, but I'm not blown away. Colour is just so/so. Color had a slight red tintColor had a slight red tint. Within two weeks my color turned a bright red. I even told my colorist that my hair pulls red to add ash color to neutralize the red in my hair. I did like the color the first week then my color just faded to bright red. Color fadingThe color didn't cover all the grays. After application and my hair drying the grays around my ears was not covered. I paid close attention to this area since I know these grays are stubborn but the color didn't take. Also it has been a week. Really unhappyThe product arrived covered in dye fingerprints and was sticky as if it had been handled without gloves when formulated. Even the instructions had dye fingerprints all over. The dye bottles also did not fit in the poorly designed packaging so had been rolling about within the box. Nonetheless I thought I'd ignore that issue and give it a try. I followed the directions exactly. The product left my hair feeling like it was covered in sticky wax, I freaked out thinking it had melted my hair off. I had to wash 5 or 6 times and in the end resorted to fairy liquid to remove the greasy waxy texture, and even then it still felt sticky and nasty for weeks. Whenever I touched my hair I could feel stickyness, and it looked greasy at the roots and underneath even when freshly washed. As for the colour, I was very upset. The root formula turned my roots bright ginger, and the main colour turned my blonde hair patchy dark auburn which was much darker and redder than the colour I selected. I wanted a copper blonde as per the photo but it looked nothing like that. The patchyness became worse after a few washes as some areas fade I spent several weeks trying to repair the colour thank goodness I was in lockdown and nobody had to witness me looking so awful. My hair suffered a lot of damage in the process and it took several appointments to correct the colour by a professional. It still is not completely even and has lighter patches where the root colour had been applied, but I was told my hair cannot withstand any further dying at this point and I have to now leave it to recover. I would not recommend this service, it ruined my previously butt length blonde hair and I had to cut most of it off because I couldn't cope with the tangling and matting and dryness it caused. Even with hair repair masks and leave in conditioner the texture is permanently damaged and I'm waiting for it to grow out healthy again which took me years to get it to this length and now I've lost most of it 0 de 0 personas encontraron este comentario útil. ¿Y tú? |

AppaulingFirstly, I choose my hair colour from the options and added a photograph. The colour was darker than what I wanted !!!! Esalon said to use colorb4 to strip it back.(not good with extra dry curly hair). The next colour which I changed, still dark brown not copper. I changed it again third time unlucky. This had been changed but was a roots only refresher. Why would I put a copper colour on my roots when the rest was red/brown. Rubbish they don't listen to the customer at all. Very expensive and not a colour I would buy again. £24 after initial 1st. I got £18 back but no £6 for p+p.!!! It was always late up to 2kg parcel is £3.10p half the price they charge. It was 48 hour postage but had to wait a week extra for it to be posted. So just £3.10 was a like for like better option Rip off. It's not badThe color was a good match for my roots. I didn't use the color on all of my hair. The product is pretty thin - nowhere near as thick as the color the salon uses. It also didn't last as long. I color my roots every 4 weeks - I barely made it 3 weeks with this. The towel they include does actually get the excess product off your skin. I don't love it, but I don't hate it eitherThe kit is good and the colours well mixed, the roots colour blended seamlessly with the ends colour. My hair is healthy and shiny. However, their violet tone colour isn't the neutral tone shown on the website, it's a very warm, reddish cherry purple. Not satisfied with outcomeMy hair is really dry after coloring; my edges did not take, my grays are standing out. I don't know what is needed to fix this. Arrived damagedBeen trying for 2 days to contact esalon thru the support link but it wont let me send you the info. order #4354636 My order arrived damaged and unusable. The bottle of developer leaked out inside the box. What was left inside the bottle did not even go up to the writing on the bottle that show the size in ounces. I put 2 pics on my profile for you to review. This was VERY disappointing! I desperately needed to color my hair and ended up going to CVS on Saturday and buying a box of hair color after paying for this. I ordered it on June 24th and received it on June 27th, I even paid the extra $5.00 for the fast processing and shipping. Bad experienceI read the instructions carefully before coloring my hair and followed them exactly. The product and process were very messy and my hair color barely changed at all. Plus, at one point in process, the instructions say to use a fresh pair of gloves but only one pair was included in the kit.
