Hair is dry and brittleFirst, when I set up my profile I stated I have very thick hair. The two sample size shampoo is nowhere near enough to wash out the dye. In addition, my hair has been dry and brittle after 2 try’s with your product. Sorry it didn’t work. You need to put another step in with a glaze for conditioning colored hair or something. Catastrophe à domicileLe jour J, je respecte scrupuleusement les consignes, et suis plutôt contente sur le coup de la couleur obtenue. Mais très rapidement (5 jour) le cendré disparaît pour laisser place à une chevelure dorée...qui s’est transformée 2 semaines après en un roux de feu ! Je précise que j’utilise pourtant des produits d’entretien de la couleur spécifique justement pour éviter cela. Terrible angoisse, je fuis le roux depuis toujours et ne sais pas comment rattraper une telle bavure. Je vais donc devoir payer un coiffeur professionnel pour rattraper cela et ne réinitialiserai plus jamais les couleurs à domicile : première et dernière fois. Promises broken and color exceptionally lacklusterWhen signing up for the service, I took a substantial amount of time to take the color quiz, upload photos and carefully choose a color based upon years of experience coloring my own hair and my personal preferences. A few days later, a color "specialist" called me to say that the color I had chosen would probably not work for me based on the photos I uploaded and suggested another. After speaking for awhile about what I specifically DID NOT want (brassy, yellowish, one dimensional color), I took her suggestion on another color. The package took a full two weeks to arrive. Even as someone who has colored my own hair for 10+ years, I found the instructions to be very sparse and generic. Additionally, my kit only included one set of gloves (instead of the two sets required) that were too small to use. One glove broke as I tried to squeeze my hand inside. Once my color processed, guess what i got? Yep, you guessed it - Brassy, Yellowish, single tone. I regret ever giving eSalon a shot. Not What I wantedI was really disappointed in the formulation. I loved the color in the previous order. A week later I was at the salon and my stylist pointed out that my roots were lighter than my overall hair color. I reached out to have the formulation corrected, not only was the color not what I wanted, but I was charged additionally for adjusting the color for my roots. I am not too pleased for being overcharged and having color that is not remotely what I wanted. It looks terrible! I am not pleased. Different from the last oneThe color box you set the time before this was great. Was just the right color of blonde. This box made me a red head. When I asked about it your colorist said it was the same formula. Odd. So, I was delighted with the one box and disappointed with this box. some very dark areas - ??This time I had some areas that were very dark - wide streaks. The only thing I did different was, before shampooing I added water and the rest of the dye and massaged it in for several minutes. I did that for a much shorter time the first time I used it. Missing productI was late using this last order. I just opened it about an hour ago. States on the instruction book that there are two pair of gloves and there was only one. Step two says to take the classic shampoo and conditioner in the shower to wash your hair. NO classic shampoo and conditioner. First time this has ever happened. A COTE DE LA PLAQUE1er envoi à côté de la plaque, pourtant j'avais envoyé des photos de ma couleur actuelle. Je suis très Brune froid, j'ai reçu un roux moche qui m'a coloré les racines d'une mocheté de dingue. 2ème envoi et après avoir insisté sur le foncé de ma couleur et que je détestais les tons chaud, j'ai reçu une couleur un peu plus foncée mais toujours dans le roux. Bilan 2 couleurs appliquées à mes cheveux pour RIEN car j'ai du par 2 fois aller chez le coiffeur faire rectifier tout ça. Tricky end processSo, I hated the end of the process where it said - get in the shower, tip your head back and put the rest of the dye on your head, And massage in. Very tricky to do and when I opened my eyes after the allotted time I had dye all down my body and it had irreparably dyed the grout in the shower. Will be going back to the salon unfortunately. It's canceled!I wanted to change color and was unable too. So now, I have the kit sitting on my counter top. I do not understand why I cannot alter/change my color with out consulting someone! Change in formulaI have had a wonderful experience with your custom hair color for two years. This time however, the kit said the formula had changed. Horrible experienceI place my order June 4th paid to have it rushed and after the 12 days I still had not received anything so I emailed, I was told it could take up to July 1st even though that is not what the website says so I waited and emailed again on the 30th of june as nothing had made any progress, they shipped another one and I just received it today and followed the directions to a tee currently my roots are orange, my mids and ends are dark brown now... far from dark blonde (cool beige). A little disappointedColred as usual and added water to remaining color in bottle and shook it up. Surprise....first water came out of bottle and 1/3 of color at bottom stayed stuck in there. Unscrewed lid and tried to poor on hair when a big gel like blob came out into hair. I tried to work it in the remaining hair. Didnt work so well. Hair not as good as before Color or texture. really disappointingI bought this for the second time first time was fine but this time followed the instructions by the letter and my roots are now fluorescent orange and my lengths have barely changed colour. Color reviewThis past formula was too dark. I’m still looking for a light auburn. This is red but darker than id like. Can we take a bit of brown out? The one before this was the closest to my color. Not what I expectedGood things first: It covered the grays. Didn't dry out my hair. Didn't stink too bad. I liked the stain guard, although there needs to be more of it (I tend to get color in my ears and down my neck). Loved the stain remover towelette. And the gloves actually fit. Now the bad stuff: The color was NOT what I wanted at all. I specifically asked for a strawberry or sandy blonde, and got light auburn. The print on the instructions is too small to read without my glasses. The included shampoo and conditioner dried out my hair way too much, although the texture had been fine after rinsing and before shampooing. I had to use my own conditioner extra. Last orderThe first time I used your product it was lovely. The last recent use I didn’t enjoy. The product was not comparable to the first coloring. The product wasn’t as smooth& thick & the strong smell of ammonia was very irritable & undesirable. Sorry I’ve been harsh but I can’t continue to order this item with these conditions. Not really happy with colorThe color made my hair feel dry and my hair had no luster or shine. It had a very flat matte appearance to it. The value of the color was not not pretty. It made my hair look like it was colored and that was not an attractive look. It made my hair feel like it was over processed and my hair tangled easily so brushing that out caused breakage. I was really disappointed. The shampoo and conditioner did not seem to make my hair soft or feel like it usually does after application of a conditioner product. My most recent order has been over a month and still hasn't arrived. I've been given a refund with no hassle, but I am disappointed that i cant use the product as I found the quality to be excellent. Brown roots!The two step process is a problem when the root application is not the right color. My overall hair color is a vibrant copper red, but roots were a lifeless brown with no hint of red. disappointedI responded to an email asking about my color (second order) before it was created asking my input. I asked for 2 colors, one being slightly darker for the back/bottom and one to be exactly the same as my previous lighter color. I received an email back stating they had received my request. When I received my color (almost 2.5 weeks late-greys were unbearable) there was only one color which was neither the darker or the previous color I had requested. Why does eSalon want me to be a redhead when I really, really don't want to be??My primary goal has been to tone down the red tone. I requested ashy. The eSalon color still is way too red. My roots, which are naturally about 70% cool brown and 30% gray, keep coming out a deep bronze. NOT thrilled. The developer shifted down from a 20V to a 15V (thank you). But this time it seemed to smell so strong that my eyes watered the entire time and I could barely see where I was applying the color. Could we try going down to a 10V developer, or something still milder? Thanks for listening. Copper ColorColor: instead of ash blond the color outcome was copper/ orange. Coverage: although I had the color applied very carefully by a friend who is a hairdresser, the coverage is sub par. Many grey hairs not covered. Color did not last 4 washes. After 3-4 washes the color was all faded. DisappointedI was looking into lightening my hair so that I can have a little bit of fun with semi-permanent dyes whilst I’m working from home (I work in a traditional profession so haven’t had a chance to go unconventional for 8 years) I have specified that my main goal was to reach level 7 from level 5, specifically asking for dark ashy blonde. I only really ‘had’ this one chance as I had natural hair colour and did not want to bleach my hair which I why I decided to entrust someone more experienced and knowledgable to provide me with what I needed to achieve my goal. I have included a number of photos of my hair so that the colourist could make an informed decision when mixing my colour. There was a lot of ammonium in my colour, considerably more than any box hair dye I have ever come across (and I have dyed a lot of hair at Uni). The level 15 developer did hardly anything to my hair: my hair was ginger-ish when standing next to a strong artificial white light, whereas my ends appeared darker, if anything, in natural light. I was unhappy with the results which is why I have purchased a level 6 toner which was too light for my supposedly freshly coloured level 7 hair. The only visible result is the dryness of my hair. Definitely disappointed with the outcome and the fact that I now have to wait years for my hair to grow back if I don’t want to use bleach and cannot experiment with different vibrant colours during lock down. 0 de 0 personas encontraron este comentario útil. ¿Y tú? |

No gray hair coverI’m not planning to buy your color again, because is not properly working on my roots (gray hair). In love with the rest of the hair color but it’s not working on my roots. Just OkI was so excited to try this color kit but was left more than a little underwhelmed. Pros: left my hair really soft. Cons: The kit did not include the classic shampoo/conditioner for post color and the color couldn’t be any further from what I chose. I know everyone’s hair processes differently but I chose dark blonde ash, followed the directions to a T and I have something bordering on a dark blonde with strawberry tones. The colour is not as personal as is meant to beThe colour so far (two orders) have been pretty standard and nothing special. Expensive way to colour hair and not that efceive on white/grey hair. Horrible shipping times.If you enjoy waiting for two weeks to receive a product, then buy this. Otherwise, there HAS to be something better out there. Not the right colour at allI have medium brown hair and after my colour I had dark brown hair with a copper and red tint in it. I have never ever had such a misfit. I can’t imagine this is right. After this I highlighted my hair. Order Not ReceivedI placed this order on May 30th, communications said it shipped on June 5th and it is now July 5th and I still have not received my order. Shipping/tracking says it is in El Segundo/ Uslaxa, USA and has not changed since the June 5th “ship date”. I understand shipping can be delayed due to Covid-19 but customer service assured me in an email it would “arrive by the evening of July 1st at the latest”. International orders (Canada) should be made aware prior to ordering that these delays can mean over a month wait.
