Best color for red hair

I have tried every product under the sun to color my hair the natural red I was born with. Unfortunately, my hair has gone gray and I want my red back. Every other product I have tried has been too purple, too brassy, to fake!!! eSalon color is just perfect. Natural, beautiful and makes me feel great. I have my original red hair back...

It was the exact color I was looking for but could not find. That in between color that you just can't get from store bought colors and can't get (afford) every month at the salon!!!

the color is matching very well with my skin tone.However, it can do abit better in covering gray. I left it on 30-45 min to try to cover the gray but it still shows afterward.

It made my hair a little darker than I already had it, but the color was nice. (I wanted lighter) But this was just my 1st try! Great product, a little more than box color usually but it specific to you! I would like to see maybe a fragrance in it -like the Herbal Essence colors have, than it would even leave your hair smelling nice!

I love the shade that was crafted for me!. The reason I gave it only 4 stars was that sometimes if I use the gloves in the final step, my hair ends up really sticky. I find that if I do not use the gloves ----problem solved.

I was always reluctant to color my own hair. I'm a red, and a vibrant one at that. My concern about drug store coloring is that the color often looks one dimensional.
My hair pro did a beautiful job, but the color didn't last and it faded so quickly that I needed a touch up every three weeks. At $80 plus tip each visit, that wasn't going to happen. So I gave eSalon a shot, I figured that with my hair so short, if I didn't like it, it would grow out quickly.
Surprise surprise, the color is gorgeous! After two tweaks, they perfected my formula and it's exactly where I want it to be. I couldn't be happier!

Hair colour great and you can change it when you want to.... It lasts a good few weeks without washing out.
One negative thing .. It doesn't always cover the greys totally ..

It last longer than hair color I've bought at Walmart but still can't get it to be at true light brown. It always starts out darker and then fades to a color I like after a couple of weeks.

I spent a few months requesting changes to my hair colour shade, which eSalon kindly made each time until I got the exact shade I wanted. It's perfect now and I love it. Can't recommend it strongly enough!

The correct shade of red for me is not easy to obtain. The process that you are walked thru online made for an excellent result. The color also seems to have lasted longer than the box from the store.

Love the hair color, doesn't fade out of my hair! Only thing I dislike is how long it takes to ship! Took over 6 weeks to receive my package! I expected it at least a week or 2 after I ordered it!

Nothing nothing nothing can cover this grey!!! It was covered for about 3 weeks!!! I love the color very much but the grey is coming back!! Most of the grey is highlighted!! And i love the color!!!! I will order again!

Store brand hair colors only last a few washings.With eSalon color it last for 6 weeks . Same a when I went to the salon, but for a lot less. Very happy.

I waited extra long to try this for the first time.....roots were over an inch long. I love the way the color turned out....it was a little complicated to use...directions didn't seem to be too clear cut and the two separate bottles made it harder to do. Next time I will have someone help me out. It was a big mess!!

After applying the color and seeing the final result, I was very pleased. The color was just what I wanted. There was a nice sheen to my hair once it dried. The color of the hair line around my face could have been a little darker (it turned out a little light) but otherwise, the color was uniform. I didn't use the product until Feb. 17 but one month later, the color has faded considerably from the roots around my hair line and the white is showing again.

I love that there was separate color for roots, however it didn't cover my grey very well and roots were lighter than rest of hair. The rest of my hair looks great though. Color is nice a warm and shiny

After having a bad experience with expensive salon color, I decided to try eSalon. The price was good and I liked that it ships directly to your home. I filled out all the questions for my first order and waited for it to arrive. It was packaged well and instructions were simple. The color was very good, no harsh smell. The color was rich and provided even coverage. The price is fair although it has gone up to $24.95 this month and I'm not sure why. Not sure if I want to continue at that price. The only con is that the color seems to fade rather quickly, even using color-safe shampoo. I would, however, recommend giving this product a try. I am happy with my purchase and am on my third consecutive order.

Loved the 2nd round eSalon made for me as far as color. Can't get past the fumes though. And the shine did not seem to last past 3. I use quality shampoo.

I am 65, have been coloring my hair since I was 16. This color doesn't fade, is easy to apply, better than any drug store products. I wish there was a way I could get 25% more product with each application. I have thick hair, and run out of product half way thru the back of my head.

This product seems to be a professional level product for the public to use. Drug store hair color products did nothing for my gray except tint it yellow. This is the ONLY hair coloring that completely covers all my gray hair. However, since it's a liquid, it's very messy to use. In the directions, if you're still stating for the last step, to get into the shower to rinse the dye off, then I still think you're wrong in your instruction. I wouldn't want to turn around only to discover that the back of my body is also dyed brown.

I am now 4 weeks post-color application and there is NO evidence of roots. I am blown away by the color match. I DO have a few gray hairs peeking through so my only complaint is that they broke through about week 2 and I would love to improve on that,but otherwise definitely exceeded my expectations.

The adjusted color captured what I desired for the outcome. The one negative is the directions. It needs to be rewritten so it doesn't sound like a scolding on following the process on how to color. Overall satisfied customer.

I got my first box of made for me color. First, the presentation was fantastic. Directions were easy to follow, albeit a bit daunting because my first color required one bottle for root application and one for ends. Total time from start to finish took me a little over an hour. I asked for some tweaks on the color as the roots were lighter than I wanted and more orangey tone. Also could tell where the bulk of my grey was. The colorist responded that they'd tweaked my next formula to make it darker and with a different tone and more grey coverage. What I CAN say is almost a month later the color is still there. It has not faded out as the box dyes ALL did for me.
Time will tell with my next formulation bit for now I'm a happy customer. Much more cost effective than a salon visit every 4-6 weeks. 😊

My grays were covered thoroughly and lasted until my hair grew out. The color was just watt wanted and it lightened just a enough to let the sun reflect off my hair.

I love the color, the only problem I keep having is it fades pretty quickly. My colorist has been working with me on each new order to adjust. The product is of good quality, and the instructions are very easy to follow. Very happy with the decision to go with esalon.

I have had my hair colored at salons before and after 3-4 weeks it starts to fade and turn grey again. But with e-salon my hair still has its beautiful color after at least 6 weeks and is still shinny and sleak. I love e-salon and would recommend to everyone.

The color was a little darker this time and tends to be more brassier than I like it but I did get my highlights in good this time so it does lightness some. I don't so much want to go blonde because I've never been a strawberry blonde ... Its great, just never paid 25.00 for one-time color use. On my budget, its a wee bit high.

I have been using this hair colour for about a year now and it is the only one that covers grey completely. It is possible to adjust the colour if you fancy a change and the results are really good.
My only concern is that using the colour is quite messy and even though I cover as much as I can in the bathroom I still end up with splashes everywhere.

I love this hair coloring system, its professional class, and the color itself.

I love the product; esalon colorists have matched my "before-gray" beautifully. But the instructions leave a lot to be desired. No reason is given for different instructions--apparently I'm supposed to spend $20 to color just my roots, now that I've been using esalon for a year. It would be nice if the instructions came with a paragraph explaining the changes.

My first delivery was too dark so I contacted esalon to adjust the formula. The first adjustment still had a little too much brown and purple. My second request has given me the perfect balance of red and brown for a great auburn color!

I really like my color and it is easy to change when I want a bit more red or want to go more brunette. My only complaint is that it is so difficult to get off of the scalp. I scrub and scrub in an effort to remove it. After a week or so, I finally feel that it is completely clean.
