The dye was super easy to apply when following the directions and the end result was lovely! It wasn't totally brown and not totally red either - it was a perfect mix which is exactly the color I was looking for!

I have tried many types of hair dye brands and every time my hair takes the color too dark. This is the first hair color that actually matched the example of what I would be getting. I love it!

I have received my first color kit. I finally got around to coloring my hair the other day. I am amazed that y’all got my correct color the first time. My hair was black when I was little but I don’t like my hair that dark now that I’m much older. This color is beautiful. It looks so natural, which is what I wanted. I love that this is more than just hair color. Everything you need is sent in one small box. I especially love the sample shampoo and conditioner and two sets of gloves. Amazing product and service. So easy to use and of course, convenient. I look forward to my next shipment.

I love the color, light brown (red mahogany).
The red came out really pretty. I have compliments the red. The color set did not hurt my head skin, but did hurt my eye when I dyed front sides of hair. I’d like to know how to prevent to not hurt my eye next time.

Using eSalon Custom Color Set is my 1st experience with coloring my own hair. With all the products, videos and information they provide it had been relatively easy to do. I have been working with the color specialist to get the color adjusted to my natural blonde color. What a nice feature to have a specialist. So far it is a little red but I am hoping we can get the color right.

I've been using their custom color set for a few years now. I knew zero about coloroing hair before I started but I followed their easy instructions and have had success from day 1. I am truly amazed by this colour! The formula is superb and having two different formulations (one for roots and one for the ends) really makes a difference to the final result! The instructions are really easy to follow and you get at home the same result you would get in a salon at less than half the cost! My hair have been left super shiny and with so much more texture compared to other DIY hair dye. I will definitely become a regular customer now!

The color matched mine (darkest brown) perfectly! The application was way easier than I thought (watch the videos or it'll be a hot mess), and the rando gray hairs are no longer! It's exactly my hair color without the annoying grays. Plus, the shampoo and conditioner smelled lovely. So excited that I can do this at home and it doesn't look like I did it at home. I am so happy with this color !! I am a box dye user as I can not afford to cover my greys professionally every 3 weeks as they always come through and never really get covered!! My hairline is always lighter than the rest and I have just learned to live with it. oh my !! My new color is amazing and the grey is completely covered I am so glad i gave e color a try !!

I struggled with do it yourself boxes from the drugstore and hairdressers coloring my hair for years. I was never satisfied like I am now. Just do my roots every 6 weeks and the color is great. Natural looking. Love it

It was so easy, my daughter put the color on for me. My hair is really short so it wasn't hard & didn't take long. The part I liked best is that my scalp didn't itch, I usually have to use a rat tail comb to rub it during the first of the processing and last time it itched the whole time. Love this product & the color came out great!

Its been several months now since I tried this for the first time and I am simply amazed !!! So many things you find online promise this and that but this product truly holds up to what it promises. The color was so true and rich and I am just now starting to see my grey again!!! I just colored my hair and my grays are covered beautifully. I went with a color that pretty much matched my natural hair color so growing out won't be so noticeable but I wanted auburn accents to liven things up. I am more than happy with this color. It brought life back to my hair and my husband said I'm beautiful.

First time colouring my hair so it was utter carnage but my colour turned out great! I love it! My greys are gone and I feel like myself again, despite now having dyed my bathroom carpet and my middle toe (!?) I love the fact that I had 2 bottles as I have a lot of hair. Would definitely recommend.

I was skeptical, but I must say that I really love everything about this color/concept. I am totally on board after my first coloring. It was customized perfectly for me and I love the shine and the feel of my hair after coloring...which doesn't always happen so fast.

Anfangs war ich skeptisch, man wusste ja nicht, ob die Ansatzfarbe zu meiner restlichen Farbe passt. Aber sie passte perfekt, ist sehr natürlich und deckt meine grauen Haare perfekt ab. Ich bin sehr glücklich mit dieser Wahl, denn die herkömmlichen Produkte kommen weder an diese schöne natürliche Farbe, noch an die Abdeckung der grauen Haare heran. Einfach genial, herzlichen Dank.

Le kit est super bien presente.
Une couleur adapter grâce aux bons conseils.
Et enfin une couleur adapter au cheveux long à faire chez chez-soi en quantité suffisante pour les cheveux, long et épais.
Encore à m ameliore pour la pause car la jonction Racine/ longueur n est pas parfaite . Mais ça c est juste une question technique. La prochaine seras encore mieux posee

I was surprised how well my esalon colorist mixed the right color for me, just from my preferences and a photo I uploaded. After my first try, I went to a salon for a trim and the stylist was amazed. She couldn’t believe I had applied it myself. People can’t tell that I touch up my roots every 6-8 weeks. Fantastic products!

I colored my hair for the first time with this brand today and I LOVE the color that was customized for me. Directions were easy to follow and my hair feels softer using this color then it ever has with the store dyes I have used in the past. Will definitely use again..

I love esalon and their custom colours set they prepare for you. I don’t know how they do it but they always get it right. They are always there for whatever changes you would like to make. I asked for more copper and golden tones to be added and it’s fantastic. I’m really so pleased at the quality of the colours they supply,my hair feels fantastic afterwards and more importantly looks fantastic!! Unlike some of the salon colours I’ve had not to mention the expense and the home colours never turned out like I wanted them too. Give it a try I was skeptic at first but I’m so glad I did. Very happy with their service and all of there products.

I tried esalon color for the first time this summer and was amazed at how good it looked and how great my hair felt. My hair is thin and it actually had so much volume my friends asked if I had extensions done. The process was easy and the results wonderful.

I am an out of the box hair color girl.. you know the kind, where it washes out after 6 washes and you see the grey coming back, well this product is is not that! The coloring is very perfect, the greys are gone, and it stays in my hair for over the 6 weeks. The best part it gets delivered to my home! I so love this product . Plus everyone thinks I had a professional do it, and I say “no, just me”. It is a must try, and you must try!

I am loving this product. It's much more affordable than a regular salon, even if you got a haircut after using eSalon still a good deal. I had issues coloring it only because I'm a tad clumsy and it was hard to see different parts of my hair but I think I did okay. I'm sure with practice I'll get better. Colorist is very helpful as well. :)

I didn't know what to expect when ordering a color online. At first, I was a little nervous, but after having done the strand test, and loving it, I decided to go ahead and color all my hair. The color my colorist sent me was dark blonde, and it's so beautiful and natural! I love it! The best part is knowing that my color was tailored for me, and if I needed a tweeking, all I had to do was send her a note. Will be ordering again!

Red is a difficult color to match, but due to your caring attitude, speedy communication and patience, I was able to get the color that is me, so thank you! Anytime I needed to switch my delivery dates a bit, y'all have been quick, and it's great not having to go to the store to buy my hair color, or go to the salons and the pay insane amount of money for my massive head of hair. This was the first time I have colored my hair myself. I have been going to the salon every 5-8 wks for 15 years. Color was spot on and really easy to do myself at home. Very happy with the results.

Using a grocery store product, I colored my hair a couple of times at home about 15 years ago. The best you could say was the results looked fine from a distance. I've been going to a salon since then.
I colored my hair today with your custom set. Wow! I'm really happy with the results! The color is very natural, and my hair is smooth and lustrous. Since it was my first time with your products, I was unnecessarily obsessive. I know it will be easier next time. I'm looking forward to seeing how it wears over the coming weeks.

I have been with Esalon for many years. They are always for informative and send the perfect blend. When I'm in the mood to change colors they give advice on the best methods to obtain desired color

Nice to have everything delivered to your door, open it, color and be done. Coloring made simple. I've changed the color mixture and each time the color specialist has been Johnny on the spot and within 10 mins has acknowledged the request.
