I received the color set and I was very excited to try it. I was very impressed with the personalized instructions. The only thing I was not expecting was the strong smell of the color solution. I was a little skeptical about using because my scalp is very sensitive. When I mixed it and applied the color it stinged a little around the edges, but it didn’t last. I was thankful that it didn’t sting through the whole process and I was very pleased with the results. Is there a color mixture for sensitive scalps?

Super easy and with a feeling of being pampered! I loved everything about this and the color was amazing! An aging redhead is not easy to color but these guys were spot on. I'd do it again in a heartbeat!

The color system package is great. Having all the required items in one package is so convenient. I love the way my hair feels, so soft and luxurious after use. The color is amazing too. I was going for color to cover some grey and be the same as my original color and it is amazingly close. This is an excellent product!

I wanted to change my hair from light brown with blonde highlights to a more solid dark golden brown. The color fill worked amazingly to even out the highlights and prepare for the color, without having to worry about a greenish hue during the transition. This is definitely salon quality! I received so many compliments on the shine and depth to the color, and my hair feels so healthy and soft. Due to the highlights, the color came out a little redder than anticipated, and overall a bit darker than I expected the dark golden brown to turn out. Also, the color is a demi-permanent, so touch ups will be required, but so far so good on the grey coverage. It's not like other dyes that I've done at home, where I can still see the grey hairs sprouting out. I will make some adjustments in regard to the specific shade for the next order, but I am beyond pleased with the results in terms of quality and affordability.

The expert tips were so helpful. The debth of color is so rich and the tone is just beautiful. Do purchase the kit with the clips, timer, and the cape, makes everything very easy and the shampoo and conditioner are so luxurious. Finally I have the color I've always wanted!

The kit was complete with everything I needed. The instructions were easy to follow. I do need to adjust the color with just a little less gold and a little more ash.

I was apprehensive about the thought of doing my own color, but the additional personalized instructions from the stylist were very helpful. They addressed my concerns in regards to my highlights. It worked perfectly, I loved the color. Color was a perfect match. Wish they had some for highlights.

My base color of dark brown has lots of natural red in it and since grey has set in, any coloring can go carrot-like if it's not done well...Kudos to eSalon as they NAILED the color perfectly on the first try. I cannot tell you how impressed I am with the product, the packaging, the directions...everything is top notch and I look forward to not having to rely on my increasingly frequent salon visits for expert coloring...try it, you'll LOVE it.

I was very hesitant to try eSalon and color my own hair at home; however, after reviewing the website, I decided to give it a try and am I ever glad I did! My hair color is amazing and feels incredible too and it was so easy to do!
I have highlighted hair and needed base color to cover those pesky gray hairs that frame my face and show up in my part. I am a complete novice at hair color and coloring at home. But the instructions were idiot proof! The entire process was very easy from ordering to amazing hair color.

Six weeks after colouring my hair, and it's still vibrant with very little grey showing.
eSalon colour is shinier than store bought hair colour. I love my results!
It made my hair softer and more manageable.

I will admit, that i was really apprehensive about using the product, but was tired of paying 5X the money and NOT getting what i wanted. OMG...SO HAPPY!!! I have been coloring my hair for over 20 years, using box colors from local chain stores and occasionally treating myself to a professional color. eSalon is, by far, the best box color I have ever used. It has amazing gray coverage, easy to follow instructions and even smells great! How does that even happen? I normally smell like chemicals for a few days after coloring my hair, but not with this product...I love it. I also love the packaging.

I have been using ESalon custome color for 2 years now---I love the shine and all over coverage!!! love love love it!!!! my favorite custome color is red, but they have changed my color over 5 times at my request...Covers the grey completely. Would not use anything else..I get a monthly delivery...so I don't have to look like a skunk--always right on time...Thank you ESalon for making my hair look so healthy and pretty at 59 years of age!!

I used to be a natural redhead. As I got older it changed. A student made a comment about my blond hair and another student told him it used to be red. I started coloring with my mom’s help. She used to be a beautician. I tried e-salon. The steps were different than she had ever done and she loves my red hair once again. So do I, and I get compliments from others too. Thank you!

Your color is made just for you, way better than the big store colors. If you want to make a last minute change in color your colorist can do it no problem. I love it.

I bought the custom colour set a few months ago but put off using it until yesterday. It all came in lovely packaging, which I know isn't important for hair colour but added that extra touch.
The instructions were really easy to follow and the product was great. I have long hair and it covered all of it with spare.
The colour has come out just how I wanted it and my hair isn't really dry at the ends!

I was able to get the formula from my hair stylist because I was moving away. eSalon matched it perfectly. I'm now waiting for eSalon to offer my my very color in a "root touch-up spray". I don't like the mascara wand...slow boat to china, messy, leaches onto other fabrics, etc. A quick spray is all I have time for anyway! Can you guys do that?

My last visit to a hair salon ended with a color that was much too dark, due to overlapping and an itchy scalp because I seem to be allergic to the product they used. Before that I tried to color my hair at home and for years I searched the stores for "my" perfect hair color. Thanks to eSalon the search is over and I finally found th color I always wanted. I have never colored my own hair. I followed the instructions but I was a little on the sloppy side putting the color on my hair. However it came out great. I really like the color and will continue to use ESalon. I look forward to trying other color options in the future. Thanks so much

I am blown away. This is exactly the color I asked for. I even spoke with a couple of different colorists to help me obtain what I was really looking for. I had started to lighten (grey) and was looking very dull. I wanted something brighter, but still natural looking. That’s exactly what I got. No one noticed the color. Instead they thought I had gotten a cut or a new style. Thank you!!

I get compliments all the time on my hair color and I love it. A couple of weeks ago I was at the salon getting a Brazilian Blowout, my hair dresser, who I've gone to for years, once again complimented me on the great color of my hair. While I was still at the salon another hairdresser came by to chat with my hairdresser and my hairdresser said "isn't her (referring to me) hair color great! she does it herself!" the other hairdresser agreed that it does look great and was shocked that I got this color "from a box". I was so impressed with my first order when it came. I did order a set of their tools the first time (can now use them over and over)! Helped the job get done a little easier. Love the color my specialist and i worked up. Getting read to change the color just a scosh, I want to add a little bit more red. The specialists are VERY VERY helpful and know what the are talking about. I would reccomend to you home self doers!!! AND the color stays on a lot longer then my store bought color. Highly recommend, now if if I could just get someone to do it for me!!!!

I have NEVER used a better hair colouring product in my life! After using the eSalon Hair Kit I bought, my tangly, frazzled, thick locks were shinier than any other hair dye kit bought in any pharmacy ! I could comb thru it after using the shampoo/ conditioner provided and the colour was so dark, so soft and manageable, I was immediately in awe!

So, I almost gave up coloring my hair. My stylists could never get my color as I wanted and the cost was exorbitant!! I decided to go gray.
A friend shared with me that she used eSalon and had never been happier! So, when my husband informed me that he didnt like me gray, I chose to try it. I was a little sceptical about the colour and product being salon quality especially for the price, but I was pleasantly surprised and extremely pleased with the result. There was enough product, for all of my hair and I usually need 2 bottles of shop bought stuff !!! And if I have it done at the hairdressers they have to refill the bowl !! So it was fabulous to have enough to cover all my hair.
The instructions were great to follow and I had a lot of compliments about the colour when it was done, so many Thanks for a great product, great packaging and great colour x

I am in love with this coloring system to do at home.
Still adjusting the color to the point i want but i will get there. I thought i would need more help but the videos are very helpful

I can't tell you how excited I am to share my experience. Due to the cost of going to a salon, I was looking for an alternative for coloring but did not want to purchase something from the store. I was super nervous about doing this myself. I have had professional stylists turn my hair orange, copper, or even red when all I wanted was my medium brown hair back to cover the grays. Once again super apprehensive about this. I was so excited when I was done and my hair was brown, just the way I wanted it! The instructions were easy to follow too and all supplies were included. I can't stop looking at the color. It is so pretty! Thanks E Salon
