I hesitated about doing my own color, but I finally gave in (too many gray roots - ha, ha). I didn’t want to stop there, so also ordered color for the rest of my hair (to cover highlights that will grow out too far). I have NEVER colored my own hair before and found the instructions to be easy to follow and the results are truly amazing!! I did have to get some help (from my son, who is quarantined with me) - don’t know how someone could do this alone! All I can say is that I love how it turned out (and my family does, too). I would highly recommend eSalon to my friends and family!!

I ordered to use as a touch up For my roots for in between appointments with my hair stylist. It was a perfect match to my color. Very satisfied and will continue to order. So much better than drugstore brands that Are Hit or. miss. And the best part is provided great coverage of gray hairs!

Really pleased with the results actually. I have really thick hair and was concerned I wouldn't have enough to cover. But I even had enough for the rinse at the end. Feel super confident in my color and my hair looks great!

Great color and coverage. Thanks Yvette S! I would recommend this color for resistant grey. I did leave it on for 40 minutes because I know how resistant my greys are. The shampoo/conditioner smelled great. And the stain guard and remover wipe worked great too!

I’m 40 years old and have never dared to color my own hair, fearing an embarrassing disaster. When my employer switched to full telework status, to comply with social distancing, I finally had the perfect opportunity to try. I was very impressed at how easy this was and how much I liked the end result. It was quicker than a trip to the salon and so much less expensive!

Agréablement surprise et très satisfaite du résultat. Coffret très bien réalisé et de qualité, les explications sont claires, le pinceau qui accompagne ce coffret est très très utile, merci.
Seul bémol, la notice des mises en garde et conseils est en anglais (je me mets à la place des personnes qui ne comprennent pas la langue).
Application de la coloration facile et j’imagine qu’avec de la pratique cela devient plus facile, l’odeur est largement supportable. Le résultat est surprenant, belle couleur, cheveux brillants. Je suis conquise.

I have no issues. This product is perfect in every way, shape and form. The color actually has a very slight shimmer of deep violet in the sun which really compliments my brown eyes and makes the color look more natural compared to a flat boxed/some hair dressers black. I feel as though esalon went above and beyond, from the personalized instructions, stain guards, two pairs of gloves, such professional packaging, name labeled, and so much support! My hair felt soft, shiny, and my grays are.... what’s a gray?! I wanted to thank my colorist Jennifer, and esalon for helping me feel beautiful during this difficult time. A life-time customer ❤️

I love my color. It soft natural and stays shiny after many washes. Everything including conditioner shampoo, gloves, stain remover. The price is reasonable and If I have a question, I can call my colorist to answer my questions.

I watched a video on youtube before I made my purchase, and the woman made it look super simple and she was happy with the results, so I decided to give it a try. I have short hair, so I figured it would be pretty easy for me to do. My hair was already colored with highlights. The grays were starting to show around the hairline and the color was fading. I really like how esalon's site does its best to match you with the best possible hair color. I have to say that the color I received was great - totally happy with it! I will be interested to see how soon it fades from washing, and if it lightens or turns brassy from the sun. I would have given 5 stars, but the hairline grays did not get covered by the color 100% (followed the instructions to the T ) I may try doing the highlighting myself, but it looks a little more difficult than I might want to attempt. I would suggest that esalon add a few plastic hair clips with the order. Overall, am pleased.

COVID 19 Hair Emergency....(sarcasm). My brunette color with bayalage ends was looking brassy and nasty. I was worried coloring would completely dull the highlights. Crystella, my colorist, did an awesome job. I'm so glad I included a picture so she could correct what I had originally asked for. The color is natural, very multi-dimensional, and you can still see glimpses of highlights on my ends. She did a great job. My hair and scalp (I use to be so sensitive) are both healthy and I will definitely do this again!!!! Thank you!

I wasn't sure what to expect, but I am beyond pleased with the results. The color is perfect and the coverage of my gray (which is really mostly white) was amazing, and the texture of my hair is great as well. I normally get my hair professionally colored but would occasionally try an at home boxed product. Now, because of the current need to 'internet shop' I decided to try eSalon, as did my daughter. We are both so incredibly pleased with the results! Highly recommend eSalon!

Although afraid to mess this up, with the assistance of my colorist from eSalon I was able to navigate the eSalon directions and do an amazing job for my very first application. I am on to my second time and am confident I will do this with perfection! Although I so prefer to have someone else wash the color out of my hair, I am ecstatic that no one know for sure that I color my own hair. Thank you all for being there for all of us.

The colour is very close to my natural colour. It has not faded and in the light there are golden highlights. The shampoo and conditioner that came in the box were really nice. Overall it was a great purchase and it was easy to use and was delivered quickly. So far so good.

The last few years I’ve had a lot of white hair start to sprout up. I’m a natural blonde, so my attitude has always been “no big deal”... however, the last few months they’ve been sprouting like crazy and were becoming noticeable. I decided to use hair color and chose e salon due to the reviews. I cannot believe the results! The color is literally my natural color just “higher resolution” and it doesn’t feel dry or heavy. I am thrilled with the results of my custom color set. I ordered a richer tone than my current color and had much root growth to cover as well. With about 85% gray hair and 6 weeks worth of growth, there was much to do!! My results are exactly what I asked for- a rich, deep brown with gorgeous chestnutty red tones, super shiny and healthy looking and all of my gray gone. The customized instructions were easy to follow, and the cost and convenience cannot be matched, especially with such professional looking results!!! So happy I am back to my auto ship order.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I have been less than satisfied with the job my hair stylist has been doing for quite some time. The color was never quite right — too expensive, too dark, too light, no dimension, etc. I debating trying eSalon for months because I was nervous to DIY and it seemed too good to be true. I just colored my hair for the first time with eSalon and I couldn’t be happier. First off, I have to apologize for the uncertainty of my order that didn’t have any tracking information. I spoke with a kind representative who assured me it was likely an error with the shipper, and indeed it was. She encouraged me to wait a few more days and I am grateful for her reassurance. Now to the real stuff, I haven’t colored my own hair in over 30 years, and I would be lying if I said I wasn’t a bit terrified! My results turned out amazing!! I’m so happy with the results. I’ve already recommended this product to my daughter who was considering another direct sell hair line. My hair is silkier than before and I love the color. I’m more than impressed!!

So like many women (and men) everywhere, Covid-19 has impacted us in ways that I never imagined. I am not normally a vain person but when my gray hair started sprouting like spring wildflowers, I just couldn't take it on top of everything else! I started looking on-line for a quality at-home hair care product and saw eSalon's ad. It has more than lived up to its customer comments. The color I ended up with is just what I wanted. It has dimension and more than covered my gray hair. It was a bit difficult for a novice to use but the instructions (and video) were phenomenal (I'm the problem!). My next time I will enlist support from my sister who is also my roommate so we won't be breaking any health rules! My color is beautiful and I wish others could see it in person but that will happen in time. Until them, I am rocking my hair color and happy to be in quarantine looking good (well, not happy but.....my hair looks great!)

I haven’t colored my own hair for years due to some tragic consequences in the 90’s (don’t ask - LOL). Anyway - desperate times call for desperate measures. My roots were screaming. I took a chance on this color and it was a perfect match. Everything but the bowl was included and it was so easy. Answer a few questions, snap a photo and the color comes right to your mailbox. This is no exaggeration...I was basically thinking the worst and hoping for the best when I planned to color my hair with esalon. I was so nervous because I've been dealing with a hair catastrophe and was literally trying to cover it with the color I did through esalon and let me just tell you...it BLEW my expectations away! I NEVER leave reviews but I had to! My hair feels amazing and looks amazing and the color is beyond gorgeous! Love the colour

I've never dye my hair myself so I was apprehensive about purchasing but I love the colour and I would recommend it. It is a perfect match for my natural colour. I just wanted to hide the greys.
The only thing I'd like in addition is the option to add oplex or a similar product as my hair is naturally very fine and dry.

Ich bin begeistert vom Ergebnis habe die Farbe seit 2 Wochen zu Hause, habe mich aber irgendwie nicht getraut, doch gestern habe ich meinen ganzen Mut zusammengenommen und bin begeistert. Meine Skepsis war völlig unbegründet.

I’ve never coloured my own hair before. But during the COVID-19 lockdown I had no choice. So I asked my usual hairdresser what colour she used on my hair and with this info I was able to order from eSalon. With the questionnaire about hair history and the upload a photo tools I had no doubt that the colour I would receive was going to be spot on. And I was right. With the help of my partner (to do the back of hair) I am now happy to say that my grey roots are gone. One more happy customer 😊 Thankyou so much eSalon

No harsh chemical smell or vapors. Very easy to use and my hair felt great afterwards. I normally have to wait a day to style hair with store color bit my hair was in great condition afterwards

This was the first time doing my hair color. I was expecting the worst and hoping would turn out ok. I was very happy with the outcome. Amazing color, and hair was so soft.

Tamara, you hit my color out the park- great job🤗. I colored for the 1st time April 15th my hair. It was easy and the color (light brown
(Golden))covered my grey roots. The shampoo/condition worked well and the fragrance is nice. Now, looking forward to doing my highlights.
I have a Spring/Summer color and a Fall/Winter color.

After 15+ years of using a drug store hair color I decided I needed a change. My hair had no shine and looked very dry. I loaded up three pictures of myself, told Esalon that I was hoping to keep my color the same and placed my order. The next day a colorist from esalon emailed me that they thought the color I had selected would be too dark and changed my order. I got my color within a few days and applied it. It was super easy and I love it! Lots of shine and the color is perfect. All my gray was completely covered and it was really very easy.

Wanted to say a HUGE shout out to Yvette, my assigned Colorist. The hair color is exactly what looks great on me. I absolutely love the color and especially how my hair feels (full of bounce and volume). The step-by-step instructions was easy to follow. My husband (color stylist) was great at following these instructions.
Impacted during the CoVid19 crisis with the Shelter in Place orders of my State, I was not able to schedule my monthly hair/coloring appointments with my Hair stylist. eSalon has been a lifesaver on creating a good feelings within during these trying times.
