First of all the packaging is wonderful..everything you need carefully contained in little boxes and even a poem.! I followed everything as stated and it was all so easy...included was a timer .. I have cool lightest blonde and it is great.. through lockdown I had 2 inches regrowth with some grey and now a beautiful very natural all over colour thank you Paul! Highly recommend

My colorist did a wonderful job! I am so happy with the color and have had several compliments, such as, “ Did you do something different to your hair? I’m not sure what it is but it looks great.” exactly what I was looking for! The only thing I would change is to have a better explanation upfront that there is one color for roots and one for ends, and how that works. It was confusing for me as I went through the initial questionnaire.

I've had so many people ask me if my salon was open since they noticed my grey was gone. I was very happy to tell them about esalon and the great results and support I got. Absolutely amazed with the results! I was sceptical about how good this could be as I have used so many home dyes before but always end up at the salon, needing a professional to fix my hair! This has by far exceeded my expectations! From the great packaging, to the easy to follow instructions to the gorgeous smell and amazing shine, what’s not to love?! I asked for light brown and that’s what I got but my goodness it’s the most gorgeous colour I’ve ever had! If you are in doubt, go for it, you won’t regret it!

I want to tell you that I really love the new formula in the color kit! It is a thick yet smooth combination that was easy to apply. I really loved the new shampoo and conditioner in the kit also. My hair is 100% gray. I have always had a hard time finding a product that would cover it and not fade drastically...until now.
The coverage is wonderful and it doesn't fade. The color has taken years off my looks. I know this because of all the compliments I receive. And, it is so easy to apply!!

I'm very happy to have found eSalon. I have always gone to a Salon to have my hair colored but with the pandemic I don't dare. They were able to match my color perfectly and I've been able to do it myself. I'm so relieved as I'm not ready to go gray.

This company is amazing. My dyeing process has never been easier, or cleaner! My colorist, Yvette, absolutely nailed it! After the first order, I had a big issue with the color. She called me personally to address it, and sent a complementary bottle to correct it. Now, my new formula is perfect! I receive compliments on the color constantly. I highly recommend this company, i'll never go back to Sally's hair dyes again!

Custom color makes a difference, especially for previously lightened hair

I hadn't dyed my own hair in over a decade when I ordered my custom color set, so I was definitely a little nervous about how it would turn out! I had grown out balayage that had become pretty brassy overtime. My natural hair color is golden medium brown and the custom color I ordered is about 2-3 shades darker than my natural color, so I was just wanting to go back to what I had before. I'm so thankful that my eSalon colorist reached out a few days after I placed my order to let me know they were including Colorfill in my kit for free. Apparently if I'd dyed the pre-lightened part of my hair without using the Colorfill on it first, it likely would have turned out with a greenish tinge. I'm so glad my colorist actually looked at the photos of my hair and provided a solution to avoid that outcome! If a real person hadn't reviewed my order and adjusted it based on my hair in the photos I provided, I probably wouldn't have been as happy with how my color turned out. The color kit was easy to use and my hair color looks beautiful, rich, and natural with no greenish tinge. I will say that maintaining brunette color on pre-lightened hair is challenging, especially if you're like me and can't tolerate washing your hair any less than 2-3 times per week. I'd definitely recommend getting some sort of color-depositing conditioner/co-wash, or making your own by adding brown demi-permanent dye to regular conditioner/co-wash. Make sure to saturate your hair with product and leave it on for about 5-7 minutes before rinsing. eSalon is a great option for folks who want custom color but don't want to pay $75+ at the salon every 4-6 weeks to maintain it. For reference, I'm a 30-year-old woman with no grays yet. My hair is thick, slightly wavy, on the finer side, and is pretty healthy since it's only been lightened once and I rarely heat-style it.

I had been going back and forth for months deciding if I was going to order, I finally did and I have to say I am in love, with the attention to detail, the presentation of the product and the results achieved. The whole process made me feel like a valued customer, I'm a sucker for little additional perks and the fact the product is personalised is such a perfect and personal addition its beautiful. Instructions are clear, two sets of gloves, a stain guard and remover which I've never received with any other dye. Absolutely stunning X (the shampoo and conditioner sachet smell amazing and my hair felt soo soft afterwards)

I have always gone to the salon for my color and I was always happy with my hair. I never considered coloring my own hair until the pandemic affected us. Everything about this product is great! I have super short hair so it was easy to apply. It covered all my grown out hair and I ended up with a rich color! Take time to get everything set up before you begin. I loved the little sticker that they sent to put your instructions on the mirror. It’s the little things ! Color was exactly right !

I have been using eSalon for about a year now. I was super skeptical, but, after the first kit came, I was hooked! All I had to do was send pictures of what my hair looked like currently, take a short quiz, and, pick a goal color! That's it!
The Stylists were always very receptive, and, easy to communicate with, so, it made it a really great experience overall. When I requested to go lighter over the summer, eSalon jumped right in and made adjustments per my request!
This is a really great fit for me. I receive my kit in the mail, and I can color my hair when it suites me. There is no waiting or making an appointment, and there are easy instructions to follow that come with the kit, so, you are never lost on what to do.

Ich habe mir Jahrelang die Farbe zum Mischen im Frisörbedarf geholt und war damit immer zufrieden. Ich war erst skeptisch, weil das Prinzip ja ähnlich dem berühmten Box Dye aus der Drogerie ist, aber ich bin begeistert. Ich bin sehr empfindlich, aber meine Kopfhaut hat es super gut vertragen. Absolut Fasziniert bin ich vom Glanz und der Textur der Haare. Der erste Farbton war mir noch ein bisschen hell. Die zweite angepasst Farbe hat mich dann aber vom Hocker gehauen. Also ich bin so ziemlich sprachlos, wie gut die Farbe passt und wie lebendig das Ergebnis aussieht.

I absolutely love my eSalon color. It is so easy to make adjustments, too. I am 54 and quickly going grey, so I adjusted to a lighter blonde shade to blend in with any greys that come in between colorings. I also added some golden, and I get so many compliments on my hair. Looks so natural, but when I tell them it is a dye job they ask me what salon I go to. Many can't believe it is a home dye job. I highly recommend eSalon and am so appreciative of their talented colorists, especially while we all have to stay home.

Was worried about ordering colour online but described what I wanted and you absolutely delivered. I wanted to say thank you to my colorist Tamara. She helped me get the look i wanted with the light set and my base color. Super happy! An FYI... if you have naturally curtly and fine hair the light set will create tons of lift... if you aren't looking for it being too light then have less processing time... so very happy!

E-salon has changed my hair colour world. I get to talk to a colourist who takes my exact (ginger grey) needs into account, adjusts the dye as my hair adjusts to e-salon and gets it spot on with every request. Not only that, but it's so easy to delay or pause your order if you don't need to dye for a bit. Has honestly revolutionised my hair colour. Thank you.

New formula

Recently esalon has gone through some changes and they all have been for the better. The new color formula is so much smoother, less potent smelling, and comes out SO much better in the shower. The new shampoo and conditioner also works so much better.
Overall I am very pleased with the changes!!

This is my first time using this product and I was really worried that they were going to not get it right but they did an Amazing job the color came out perfect and they sent me enough product to really make sure you get that full coverage . My grays where a problem area for me but this company did an Amazing job covering those stubborn grays up . Thank you so very much Helen W

My Hair is So Shiny with More Bounce

I really love this product and like that we get to color match our hair ourselves. My only issue is that my gray is a lighter brown once colored -- but I can deal with that, it is not gray!
While it is wonderful to get rid of the gray roots, your color products seem to really care for my hair. My hair has not felt this way since around 2008 -- way before I started coloring my roots. It is nice to know that my hair texture will be restored and feel so good after I color my hair!
