E-Salon is so willing to work with you to customize the perfect hair color for you. I was having issues covering the gray, and with the help of a color specialist and a few "selfies" that I sent in via e-mail, a change was made to my custom hair color. Now it is almost perfect!!

I pulled my gray/blonde hair through a cap and applied the color as low lights. It darkened my over all color which was the goal and left natural "blonde" highlights and the color blends perfectly with my natural colors!
The customer service people are fabulous and always willing to take the time to discuss your color goals. Color always is on time. They send email reminders to let you know when to expect your next delivery. Within the email is also an opportunity to change your color. I highly recommend giving them a try! Will save you lots of money!

I can't believe that this covered all my coarse gray! I am 70% gray, and the only time I've ever had lasting gray coverage like this is when my stylist colors my hair. The two step process added highlights and my color looks 100% natural! I am hooked!
So my first batch wasn't exactly what I expected but my 2nd batch was perfect! I love how eSalon's coloring kits don't damage my hair and actually make them look healthier after I color. I haven't found this with other box brands. eSalon's color leaves my hair looking like I spent $$$ at the salon.
Many years ago I did hair shows in Canada and my hair was teased, tormented, coloured every colour possible so it became very stressed. This product does NOT stress my hair nor does it cause any problems. A beautiful colour and I love it.
This is by far the best boxed coloring product I've ever used and I've used probably all that is available! It's a bit more money but worth every penny! I was considering giving up and giving in to pricey salon coloring which I REALLY cannot afford but now that I found esalon they've saved the day,my money and my hair! I've gotten so many compliments on my hair and a few people ask me where I get my color done! I had to have them tweek my formula but only once to add a little more of a hue and it was perfect. The whole experience is professional and the tips they give are part of that. Will never use anything else! Thanks esalon !
I've gone to salons and spent tons of money on pretty but unnatural shades of red, or not pretty highlights. Done. I miss pretty highlights but I don't miss spending all of my money! Color is beautiful, natural, product is easy to use. Highly recommend!!!!! Take the opportunity to send good pics of your hair and of what you like. It's worth the extra minute!!!!! Not going back!

Great color and my consultant was super responsive and helpful in making sure I choose a color that would work. Initially I had choose a color several shades darker and she suggested only going 2 and I love it!

This was my first order and I was a little skeptical using a hair color that was chosen online. Would the color be right, was it safe, could I mix it right? Then I freaked myself out thinking, oh my gosh, what if my hair falls out or something like that. I held my breath and colored my roots. The color was amazing and my hair did not fall out. I'm very happy with the results and am waiting on my next order.
I like that my kit contains the hair color along with my personal instructions, stain guard, stain remover, shampoo to remove any excess hair color, conditioner, and 2 pair of gloves. I think the thing that I like the best is that there is no harsh smells. I would highly recommend the products and the experience.
I really enjoy receiving my box with everything needed to complete my hair color at home. Easy to apply and the color lasts. Above all no strong odors that lingure even after you have washed it out!
This was my first time using the custom hair color. It arrived quickly & I followed the instructions provided. The color was exactly what I had discussed & chose. Love it & plan on using again.
This time I received a perfect match. I did have to strip down to a 9G, not formulated, just stripping color down to Gold. Then I let this color stay on the roots and body of my hair around 30 minutes and then another 15 all over. It came out exactly my natural color. I just foresee it not staying until enough color is deposited to make a go. But it is my color. Amazing. Scarlett, any suggestions? Picture added in profile picture.
I wanted to adjust my color slightly from my previous color and the experts at esalon made it so easy! I told them what I wanted and they gave me different options to choose from based on my feedback. Now I think that my color is absolutely perfect! I've had a fantastic experience with esalon and couldn't be happier with the results!
...in a good way! I was sure the color they sent would turn my natural color red-nope! Pretty sure they knew what they were doing. I have grey and colored/highlighted hair so not so easy to color. I did respond to ask for better grey coverage but I'm super happy so far!

Great product. I requested a change on my color to not be so harsh. After following the personalized directions for coloring it I was happy with the end results. Not harsh, felt healthy and was shiny.
I am so happy to have found you guys. The quality of color is exceptional, I am so happy with the results. I think I didn't leave it on long enough or I'm not quite so good at applying it myself yet because not all my gray was covered BUT what did get covered is gorgeous. I will totally order again. This is perfect for those who cant afford salon prices but the store boxes are just not doing the job, which is where I am at. This is seriously the best service I have ever used! I got my color in the mail quick. The color is so beautiful my favorite color I have had my hair! The instructions for coloring were simple and easy to follow.
I was a bit unsure when I ordered this as this product comes from the US and not the UK so I was worried about where I would stand if things went wrong.
I needn't have worried as it was very straight forward (I did the allergy test first). The only difference in the application that I noticed was that after the colouring time you have to rinse it clear, then shampoo and condition with the products provided, and not keep the conditioner on for a couple of minutes afterwards which I have been used to.
The colour is lovely, very natural which is what I wanted and my hair feels soft and nourished. So far so good, hopefully it will stay this way until it's time to do again. Time will tell.

I was three quarters grey. My original colour was a dark ash blonde, when I was younger. I remembered the lovely sun-kissed highlights during the summer and thought that's what I wanted to go back to. However, my colourist--Paul C--sent me something unexpected; what I can only describe as the dark ash blonde I was before the summer sun got to it, and it's perfect! I'm 47, and I think the lighter colour I expected would have been too "young" looking for me. Thank you for the lovley choice of colour and the fantastic grey coverage. I will be back for more!
When I saw how much darker the shade was at first, I was very skeptical. But when the whole process was done and the next day I received lots of compliments....I was really happy with the new change! The colorist did a really good job.
I am over 50, have dark brunette hair and am about 45% gray and white at this point. I refused to go blond because with my light skin, it would just wash me out. Therefore, my only choice is to go lighter with a red. I chose an Auburn and had been using a well known box color for years. Then, I discovered eSalon! What a wonderful change. They had me send a picture, asked me what I wanted and tailored my color to ME and my skin tone. Now my color looks so natural and I get complemented regularly! I have used the service for a year or so and can get an order as often as I like or skip when I need to. I can't ask for better service. When I want to change up the color I just send another photo and ask for the color to be tweaked and the colorist does it. Then I get an email asking if it turned out how I wanted it to. It is like the colorist understands me without ever having spoken to me. I love this service!

I have been using E-Salon for over two years now and I am so happy with both their products and service. My hair color has never looked better and it is very convenient for my busy lifestyle. Also, the ease of managing my account and purchases is 50% of why I remain a loyal customer.
I have colored my hair at home for the past ten years with pretty good results. The color faded more quickly than I liked so I am trying something new. I just colored my hair this morning with these products and I am pleased with the immediate results.
I had been buying two colors at the store and mixing them. I always had trouble finding both colors, I had to remember how much of each I used, and the outcome was unpredictable, although I always liked it. eSalon provides a more subtle color, which is natural looking and complements my skin coloring more. It is also less expensive. I like being able to wash it out right away. I love it.
P.S. I get tons of compliments on my color!
My color match has been spot on since my first order. I admit, I miss the head massage I get from the salon but I cannot beat the price to color my hair at home with eSalon.
