The new formula on the highlights was terribleThe adjustment made for this order of my highlights was terrible. it was bright orange, brassy and was supposed to be lighter blond. Completely wrong for my skin tone. The color was so bad that I had to use and waste my root color that I planned to use 2 weeks from now to cover up the highlights. A waste of money. i have informed the colorist to go back to the prior formula. I would like a free replacement of my root color I had to use to correct this mistake. Don’t like the colorThe color is too light for my hair. Normally I use a high end product to color my guy and it is a lot less expensive that your hair color. Therefore I am trying to cancel this subscription but cannot find a way to do so other than call. This is a high inconvenience for me. When I joined I was told I could cancel any time but I am having a difficult time doing so. Please just cancel my subscription. I will try to call later unless you are able to do so through this. I did not like the color you sent me. I use 10 volume but I feel like it was more than that as my roots came out so light. Usually my dye blends in great with my hair and doesn’t make my roots light. It just made me sad.The picture of the color was a beautiful dark brown with a strong purple tone. I followed the instructions exactly, and my hair is nowhere near the correct color. It’s a light chocolate at the roots and no purple or red undertones anywhere else. Werbung besser als die FarbeHallo ich habe gerade meine Haare gefärbt und kann keinen Unterschied zu der Farbe aus der Drogerie erkennen. Ich habe immer noch einen rotstich, den ich mir ja eigentlich erhofft hatte entfernen zu können. Die Deckkraft ist jetzt auch nicht wesentlich höher als bei herkömmlichen Produkten. I thought this would be nice.When I read about this , I thought to myself" that's nice to have your color delivered to your house. No more waiting til your roots show to update my color.Because I didn't get a chance to go to the store, or like most times. I just didn't want to go,being lazy. But unfortunately, your product died very early and I had to purchase my color at Sally's. Which I paid less then half the price of your product. DisappointedThis is my third attempt with ESalon. The first time I wasn't pleased but fully accept this was issues with my selections. I fed back and alterations were made and I was delighted. I died my hair last week, the day before going on holiday as I was now confident we had it right. However I was wrong, yes my roots were no longer dark but my hair did not have the brightness and vibrancy of the previous colouring. Surely it should be the same each time, the information in the sheet was correct but I knew looking at the bottle when mixed up it was not going to be what I wanted. I do not think I will be continuing purchasing here. Colour not light brownI recently had my first esalon delivery and requested a light brown. Unfortunately the result is a red/brown with my grey a light orange. As much as this may be customised there are not enough colour swatches to choose from to obtain you desired colour. Extremely brassy and highly unattractiveThe color I received is absolutely awful. The “natural” golden toned dark blond is a hideous, brassy, mustard colored mess. I ordered dark brown both times and my color turned out very light not dark brown at all.They sent me it the second time at no charge and it still is very light not dark brown at all.So very disappointed in this product .I would not recommend it to anyone. UnsatisfactoryDid not like this hair dye system at all. Stained my bathtub like crazy, did not change my hair colour whatsoever even though I followed the steps to a tee, and the leave in conditioner I purchased separately is terrible as well, Pantene spilt end remedy does the best job and for a fraction of the price. Better off purchasing a store bought hair dye cause it's cheaper, works way better and will not stain your bathtub. Made a lot of mess and mistakesI hesitated to do my hair cause esalon sent me another bottle to do the whole hair. I wished I’d talk to someone before doing this... My hair color got darker... When I applied the first bottle, my hair got really rough like I couldn’t brush off my hair. This led me to make mistake when I applied the second bottle. I usually use brush to apply color to my roots. But I went on with the recommendation from the video by the using the bottle for my second step and it was a huge mistake. My restroom... got stains all over the place. Also permanently too. I spent so much time cleaning and where do I start for the hair... My top part of my hair is lighter and darker in the bottom. I missed couple of gray hair which I never do after covering my gray hair for 5yrs. I was so stressed out about the fact I had to color the whole hair, I literally made mistakes. The good part about the color is that I don’t look too red.. I had a bad experience changing my hair... Product consistency is too runny!It's a challenge to color "only your roots" when the product won't stay where you put it. The consistency is too thin and needs to be improved. The gloves delivered with my kit were very poor quality. The dye leaked through the gloves and onto my hands and fingers. It made a complete mess of a very expensive manicure. I'm no novice to "at home hair color." I would have done better to buy a drug store color versus investing time and energy attending to dye running down my neck and forehead. Very messy and extremely disappointing. The positive upside is that the color looks good and my scalp is not itchy at all. I'd love to give this product another try when you take steps to improve the consistency to a thicker stay put version. Finally, the customer service I recieved when I called to cancel my subscription and share my opinion was very good. The representative was positive and apologetic. Her attitude as great. She refunded a set that I had received prior and extended a credit on one that had lapsed the approve return time frame. There was no effort to respond to the mess created by the kit I used today. Dye Guck stuck on my scalpI wanted to love this, the past three shipments have been horrible. It takes at least an hour to get the dye off of my scalp. When the dye is processed it turns into an awful layer of some kind of guck that is impossible to remove. I have to wash with shampoo about four times and condition over and over in order to remove it all while scraping it off with my fingernails. Traumatizing as I only wash my hair once a week. DisappointedI was unpleased with the color, to dark. I followed all directions to the letter and my hair was so burnt I had to go have two inches cut off. Waxy residue - ZERO stars!!!I purchased my colour in February but didn't use it until last night (was waiting to get my hair cut as I donate it every 2 yrs and wouldn't be able to donate it once it had been coloured), upon rinsing my hair it had this waxy/tacky residue in it, it felt like the outside of a cucumber that had that wax applied to it. It took me multiple washes to completely rinse all of the residue out of it. I have soft water, have my entire life; my hair hasn't been coloured in 20yrs so it's not anything that was previously done to my hair, the only time I put any kind of product in my hair is when I flat iron it (which I haven't done in several months) and I use high quality shampoo & conditioner so I KNOW it wasn't anything I did or had in my hair. DYE STREAMING DOWN MY FACE AND BACK,Applied this hair dye as directed. It streammed off my head, down my face and back, ruining two towels and staining my bathroom floor and walls. Color is ok, my tub is notColor is a little too red for me but I will be working witn a colorist to try to change that. However my tub is permanently stained pink. Wanted my hair brown but got blackThis was my first time trying this product. I ask for dark brown and got black. My natural hair color is black I just dye it black again. There is no brown at all. My hair feels disgustingThe dye is gross feeling, it took 40 minutes of washing to feel even slightly normal again. I had to put my hair in a ponytail because it feels heavy and dead. I color my hair at home every 4 - 6 weeks and have tried multiple brands- this is bar far the worst. Darker than AnticipatedMy hair came out much darker than I anticipated, or wanted it to be. I was looking for more of a summer color with more golden tones. I thought that where my highlights were, the color would be shaded differently than the areas where my hair was dark. It pretty much looks all the same color - much too dark. No good serviceIt is too easy the dark colour, but for blonde colours you do not want send to me and tell me that I must go to a hairdresser. If you are good colourist is been supossed that you could make an ash blonde, but you do not want to sell to me. Just like drugstore coloursVery unhappy with product, I started with a light brassy blonde going to meduim blonde and specifically noted avoid brassiness in clour and my hair looks identical to what i started with. Wrong colorI originally ordered a copper color. It came out more brownish then reddish as in picture! I reordered with the color suggest and got a dark brown instead of a reddish/copper! I’m not sure I want to continue. dissapointedI realized that I needed med brown and requested to change color from light golden brown to med brown. I have silver and I wanted to cover the grey. you sent me the same Light golden brown. I try communicating with the company and still received the same color. DONE. Just so-so.This color does not seem significantly better than regular boxed home hair dye I have used in the past. I purchased the highlights kit and can't even tell I used it. Severe Chemical BurnsDidn't use right away, waited til my hair needed coloring, which means I still have 2 unopened shipments. Unfortunately I loved this color, but got severe chemical burns from it. I tried to make arrangements to return my other unopened shipments, but was told they are not eligible, even though I got a severe reaction from it. Half in love.I really do like the simplicity of this process and how I was able to apply myself. I am in love with the color chosen for me but I have one big problem with the results- my grays are still gray! I applied on them first, per the instructions. I don't have many but the placement of the ones I do have are visable with my hair up or down. One of the main reasons I wanted to change things up was to cover the grays. Wrong color, drying, and not enoughI specifically told them I hate violet reds and always use orange reds to color my hair. They sent me a violet red. I went ahead and used the kit because I was out of time and out of options and I figured: a color I don’t love is better than the grown out mess I have. WRONG! I ran out of color with 1/4 of my hair left to go. Half of my head is shaved and I ran out of color. I chose the longest hair option you can choose, knowing how much hair I have, and I still ran out of color. This whole experience has been a nightmare. Terrible experienceThe first time I ordered my hair color, I followed their directions, when I went to wash out the dye, spots wouldn't come off leaving my scalp and hair sticky and dye coming off on my hands from me running my hands through it. I chalked it up as not scrubbing enough, I had long nails at the time and didn't want to break them. So, I jumped back into the shower with a scrub brush and scrubbed the shit outta my scalp. Didn't help. Over time as the dye faded and my hair grew, it worked itself out. The color turned out great and my hair was shiny and felt healthy so I ordered from them again. Dyed my hair yesterday, this time, my nails are short so I was able to scrub my scalp real good to get the dye out. As I'm relaxing I notice what happened last time, dye was stuck to my scalp and hair again, this time much worse. So jump in the shower and scrub with a brush and brought a comb with. Nothing. This stuff does not come off! I've been in the shower three times trying to scrub this hair dye out. I scrubbed so hard my scalp was bleeding. After doing this over an hour sobbing from hurt and frustration, I gave up. Never again with I put myself through this bullshit! I've never had this issue with box dye. I'll also fork out over 100 bucks going to an actual salon so I don't have to go through this again. I'm stuck with sticky nasty hair and my scalp hurts.
