Limited gray coverageI really enjoyed the supplies that the kit produced - the consistency of dye, the multiple pairs of gloves, the stain guard, and the stain removal pad. However it is did not cover my gray at the roots like I had requested. This was extremely problematic for me as a first time customer, long time hair colorist. I was really disappointed as I was excited by the promise of gray coverage provided by the manufacturer as well as the spokesperson Brad Mondo. I did like the actual color that stood on the rest of my heart. It is a softer black which I appreciated. So disappointedI applied my colour yesterday followed all instructions to the T. And I'm so not happy. My hair is way too dark. It's horrible. I can't understand how I got sent the wrong colour I sent pictures of my hair before with my order. It's just all one block of colour now. The highlights I got from my own hairdresser early December are completely covered now. . Leider viel zu rotDas Positive zuerst: sehr professionell, gute Anleitung, gutes Equipment. Ich hatte den Farbton Dunkelblond - Honig/Mahaghoni. Leider ist die Farbe für mich ein reiner Rotton. Ich dachte bei Honig Mahaghoni an ein Dunkelblond mit einem leichten rötlichen Schimmer. Mit Dunkelblond hat das aber leider nicht viel zu tun. Jetzt laufe ich mit roten Haaren rum. Color faded quickI have gray on my roots and I followed the direction. It turn out great when I was done didnt see no gray hair but after 2 days it starting to shows up, its like the colors is fading in so quick. Great hair color, problems with shippingI really like the hair color and the support I have had with getting it right. But I have had a terrible time with shipping. Two of my orders have been "lost" in the shipping process. I live between two different states, but I have been very clear and have had confirmation of the address for my orders. Yet, the ones going to Houston just don't get there. It has made it very inconvenient to have my hair colored consistently, the way I like it. I don't know what to do. As of now, I still have one lost in the mail and the replacement has not made it in over a week. I keep contacting them. I still don’t have my color after 15 days. No one answers my messages for customer support. I have written a number of them and all I get back is a canned email saying someone will get back to me as soon as possible. There is supposedly a number to call “only if you need help right away”, which is odd. It does not even allow time to leave a name and phone number before it disconnects. Don’t even dream of talking to someone. I have tried and tried to reach someone for help. I’m tired of it. I still want the color that has been charged to me. Then I believe it’s time to go to Madison Reed. There is a lack of support, communication, and general caring here. Feel unheardI have repeatedly said that my hair is more of an ash color. I have a lot of ash in my hair. But every time I get a color set from here, I end up with extremely brassy/reddish color in my hair. I will say I got a bit better gray coverage than last time, but am no where NEAR my normal color. Not the colour I wantedI adapted my plan as previously my colour was too dark. I chose a copper, which when sent to me was light brown with a slight red tone when in certain light. Definitely not copper at all. HATE ITHate is a strong word, yet I find myself mortified at my hair color. Prior to coloring, I sent pictures, asked questions and received no response. The color is absolutely wrong...no where near what I requested or was shown Angry. Disappointed. Packaging spot on but everything else has been utterly awfulI had read that there was a personal discussion with a colourist before you decided on the best colour for your wants/need. I left a photo and a little note, expecting a discussion before choosing but instead received an email saying that my colour has already been dispatched - colours I hadn't chosen at all.... Despite these initial issues I decided to go ahead with colouring. The packaging was amazing, really thorough and well designed and even little things like a sticker to attach the instructions on the wall - genius! Unfortunately though, my hair has ended up exactly the same colour it was before I dyed it. They had sent me a "darkest brown" plumy colour for my roots fading into a bright violet colour. Even though the dye itself looked a a nice bright colour my hair is still brown - even with it’s mouse brown tinge still - definitely not “darkest brown” and certainly no red or purple. It also feels brittle (I lost quite a lot in the shower!) and straw-like. Almost thereThe color was measured well and easy to mix and apply. It was a bit too light as it came with a 20 volume developer so it caused me to have “hot” roots. The color blend also had ash tones which caused my hair to pull smoky greenish hues. I sent a message to adjust the color. Not SatisfiedThe kit was very well set up I like the tools and all the details how ever the root color did not work and my roots are still brown instead of black like the color they are supposed to be dyed. Waste of £9My hair was already dark brown and the dye didn't change its colour. I had chosen a light auburn but the result was very disappointing, just dark brown with hardly any auburn in.
