Just didn't work for meAs excited as I was to receive my order was as quick as i was disappointed when done. My natural hair color is dark brown. I normally dye my hair blue black using store bought hair dyes. Loreals, garnier etc. I decided to try ESalon for a different easy peazy flow. Everything is included, instructions, gloves and all necessities needed for hair dying. And although that is a huge plus. After two tries. I am disappointed at such with the color result. When I received my box everything was perfect. ESalon presentation is perfect. I mixed color and followed directions. (The scent of the dye is very strong. SO PLEASE MAKE SURE U ARE NOT DYING YOUR HAIR IN A CLOSED IN ROOM OR A SMALL BATHROOM. Ventilation is key while dying your hair.) Waited the appropriate time and rinse following all steps including adding water to remaining die and applying it. But once rinse and dried. The roots of my hair where light brown. I was shocked because the die was black all around but for some reason it lightened the roots of my hair all around. So I thought maybe I received the wrong color? Not sure. So, I reached out to my hair colorist Emilie/Amelie sorry if I misspelled your name. And she was great ! Explained to me that maybe something needs to be adjusted in formula and so forth. She sent me a new order! Order was received within a week. So Thank you for that! Gave it a second shot and now my hair is no longer light brown but its dark brown. I'm not sure if there is something missing in the formula. But I have nice, soft, slightly wavy hair. And never have I had this sort of problem. So I find it a bit weird. Chemie CocktailDas Paket mit Farbe und Zubehör machte einen super ersten Eindruck. Jedoch, nach dem ersten zusammen mixen der Farbe hat man einen beißenden Geruch in der Nase. Dies hat sich leider komplett durchgezogen, sehr unangenehm! Abgesehen von der Verschmutzung drumherum, wenn auch vorsichtig alles gemacht wurde, lief die Färbung ok. Moins bien que la 1èreJ'ai d'abord été très surprise de la commande automatique ! (Je n'ai pas appréciée du tout surtout vue le prix pas loin de 3× plus que l'essai) et puis ayant été plutôt satisfaite de la 1ère je me suis dit c'est pas grave. Et la ... très déçue de la couleur ! Alors oui ce sont de jolies couleurs, très lumineuses, la box est très complète, il ne manque rien cest vraiment bien fait ! Mais je voulais une coloration très cuivrée et elle l'est moins que la 1ère qui était déjà juste ! Le kit est très bien et complet mais a près de 30€ pour une couleur qu'on fait chez soit je me demande pourquoi pas aller chez le coiffeur, plutôt que de s'embêter ! Didn’t really work on my hairI have extremely thick hair and I left the color 45 min just to be sure it really soaks in but a little disappointed I barely see any changes from my natural black color My friends couldn’t tell I had a color at all. I love the whole process of picking your color, the attention to detail. But it’s not going to work for me. I’m a little disappointed I really thought I found the rare gem that was going to save me so much money. 2 different shades for roots and ends?My hair is pretty much one color of dark brown all over with some natural undertone of red. I ordered dark brown color dye and specified my hair was long. i received two bottles of dye. one was marked dark brown and the other was marked golden. the instructions where to use the dark brown on my roots and the golden on my ends. i was very hesitant and confuised as to why did i receve golden in the fisrt place. I wa sso desperate to dye my hair and my grey's were out of control that i went ahead and just didi it. after drying i noticed the roots were a very dark brown and ends were light brown. its not horrible and super noticble , and I'm not sure what went wrong if i ordered wronf or there wa smiscommunication? I am curently waitting for a color specialist to call me and discuss. I will try one more order and then decidie if I will continue. I would like to add that the priduct itself seems very good and the smell of shampoo and conditioner sample pack it comes with is very nice! I was disappoibnted with the box it came in. Not greatI really liked how the product was packaged and the detailed instructions made it easy to know how to apply. Unfortunately, even following the directions exactly, the root color is Not in anyway a dark blonde , more a medium blonde and looks nothing like the color choice I made online. I would be ok with the slightly lighter color but it also did not cover grey hair in my hair line. The Color is BeautifulThe color is beautiful but it doesn’t last long at all. No matter how long I leave the dye in or how much I saturated my hair while coloring the color bleeds out almost instantly. Very disappointed. Gray Hair Still ShowingThis is my 2nd time ordering your hair color and unfortunately again, I'm disappointed. I just finished coloring my hair specifically adhering to the directions and my gray hair is still showing up. I understand that not all of them would be covered, but at least a high percentage of them according to your advertising. Now I have to spend more money on either another product or at the salon. Color seem weakThis is my second time using esalon. I like the customer service but both times the colors that I got were no where near what I had anticipated. Maybe this is something good for color matching your current color to hide grey's but not so much if you want to change your color. Not happy with my root color or the ends color. Ich habe mir eine Haarfarbe bestellt.Schon beim Auftragen der Haarfarbe nahm ich den extrem beißenden Geruch war. Just Horrible...I am really unhappy, this product didn't work at all. I gave one star, just because the chat customer service was very helpful, but if there was a "0" star raiting, I would not hesitate to use it. The color specialist never reach out to fix my color! I was really disappointed, I went from light brown to an ugly dark brown. Now I have to pay to get it fix and go back to my color. Minimum grey coverage. And patchyMinimum grey coverage. Patchy. I asked for a colour every 4 weeks. First order I paid £9 for, I received a roots and a length bottles so 2 bottles of colour formula. Having asked for it every 4 weeks I expected the same. Second order was £25.99 I received 1 bottle of length refresher. So what about my grey roots this month I’m suppose to just leave them?? GreyI’ve tried this twice now in the last couple months and each time the grey comes back to fast. I did my hair on the 12th and washed my hair once and already the grey is coming back quickly. Yea I’ve been grey since I was 12 but when I buy a box hair colors it lasts me Weeks. I’ve colored my hair twice since Early Jan and if I did a box I wouldn’t be doing it for a few more weeks. not the same colorAlthough the product is really nice, easy to apply and my hair feels nourished and well done, the color is a huge disappointment. My hair turned out brown - plain dark brown, definitely not the dark copper I selected. It has some hints of red in there, but only under yellow lights. I haven't done anything in my hair for over a year and a half and I'm just dissapointed that now it looks boring brown and will be a long time again before I can do something else. In my notes I even referenced the model Dominique from your website, which I figure it would be hard to achieve since my hair is probably darker than it should be, but at the same time, the color I chose was definitely red, even a little auburn. I'm attaching a picture of how it turned out. Unhappy with colourI thought the colour was a very good match however it hasn’t covered my grey and as suspected it is now very very white again. It didn't workI was so excited when I receive my color. But It didn't turn out the way how color it supposed to be. My front hair was colored but the rest isn't. Not happyI currently have medium/dark brown hair and was looking to go red. Since my hair was died dark (last color 1/2020) I was told they couldn’t take it much lighter, which was fine. Ok but not so great resultsLovely packaging and kit, clear instructions. However, colour isn't what I wanted, it has much more of a red/plum hint (I wanted a natural colour). And it hasn't covered the greys! I don't have many, a smattering at each temple, but this is the first colour that hasn't even attempted to colour them. And as the colour is darker than my natural hair, they stand out more.... Colour has evened out a little, but neither stage appeared to have taken particularly well. For a semi permanent colour, that is said to be a tailored colour. Not sure I agree with that. I can achieve a more natural, grey coverage, even and tonal colour from a box dye picked up for less than £8. One step, no mess. Schädlicher GeruchAuf den ersten Blick macht das Set einen ansprechenden Eindruck. Alles gut erklärt und man kann eigentlich nichts falsch machen. Der stark beißende Geruch nach dem Anrühren ist allerdings alles andere als ansprechend. Man hat beim Auftragen kein gutes Gefühl. Die Farbe ist so ganz okay, aber das Geld nicht Wert in meinen Augen. Meine Farbe aus der Drogerie ist keineswegs schlechter und riecht sehr angenehm. Miles away from the colour I choseIf I were able to give no stars I would. The colour was the complete opposite to what I ordered. I filled in the hair quiz and picked the colour from the suggestions. I’ve always gone for bright copper colours but this didn’t even have a hint of copper. It was a dark red colour with almost no copper colour at all. I included pictures of my hair. Picked the desired colour out of the options best for me and included that I was looking for a bright copper. I’ve never had a copper dye so far away from this. In fact I’ve never opted for a copper colour and has it turn out a deep red....not copper, red. Extremely disappointed. The colour mixed for my roots was terrible. It left my roots a medium brown which created the look of regrowth immediately after colouring. I’ve had better box dyes. Really unhappyThe idea is great but in my case it was poorly executed. The box and products are a lovely deign, the instructions are clear and thorough. However my colour is so dark (black!) from the desired outcome. I selected golden mahogany from the dark brown range and it’s practically black. I’ve had so many comments (and I said comments because none of them are compliments!) about how dark the colour is. I’ve used colour stripping shampoos to try and reverse some of the damage but no success. Underwhelming, colour did not takePackage arrived, lovely presentation and I like the personalisation and layout, everything you could need was in the box. I was sent a root colour and an ends colour, as I haven’t coloured my hair for a while I was looking forward to a top up (copper colour). Product mixed well and was a good consistency, easy to apply, but the smell / product made my eyes water, strongest smelling dye I’ve ever used (and I’ve used a lot of different colours over the years!) Having a separate dye for roots and ends makes sense and wasn’t a problem to apply 2 separate bottles. Before rinsing out it advised to mix the last of the dye with water and apply all over, and massage in for 2-3 minutes....do not do this in a room that doesn’t have wipe clean walls! The results were unfortunately very underwhelming, I was anticipating a rich, vibrant, full copper colour, the roots have covered well, greys are gone, but the mids-ends haven’t really changed. In fact I’d say there is less colour than there was prior to dying it which I don’t understand at all. I separated into small sections and fully saturated the hair and worked the colour in, left it for the full amount of time, but my hair did not take on any of the colour. Damaged/leaking bottleThe developer bottle had a small crack causing a minor leak in the packaging. I went ahead and colored my hair only to struggle with a very strong odor. I followed the instructions to the T but, when I started the last step the odor was so strong it made my eyes start burning. I do have to say the color is beautiful and more than I expected. Very unhappy with itAlthough this did leave my hair feeling healthier than most dyes, I was very unhappy with the color. It looks nothing like what I wanted. Whoever I talked to said the color I originally picked would be too dark so I went down a shade but when I got it it ended up being too light. I can’t see the purple tint at all, even in the sun, and the roots don’t match well with the ends even though I followed the instructions. Better results with a $5 drug store boxThought I'd give this a try with its great reviews. Did not live up to the hype - at all! I followed the instructions and now have black hair in the front, and my old color in the back. Darkest Brown is not what happened. How it processed only half of my hair, I have no idea, but I look like an idiot and now have to pay more to fix it. Save your money. Great kit, completely different colourKit is great, enough dye, the brush, two pairs of gloves, personalised- excellent. However, I asked for dark golden blonde and got dark chocolate brown which is flat and now looks like a wig. ColourDespite specifically asking for a ashy colour with no warmth, my hair has gone brassy and warm in colour and not ashy. I’m gutted it was a waste of my money, could have saved and used a box die and it doesn’t look any better than what a box die would do. Amazing color, but changed the texture of my hairFirst of all, the color was spot on and beautiful--I really love it! After a few days though I noticed that a lot of my hair (the strands) is really stiff and course feeling. Really disappointed, I love how it came out but I think it damaged my hair too much. Bit of a fiascoI had light blonde hair. I wanted to darken it to a medium to light copper colour. My first dye made my roots bright red and the lengths a dull brown colour. They sent a correcting dye, but that just made my hair dark brown. It lightened after a few washes, and it's a nice colour, but not a colour I wanted or one that suits me. Now I am back in the process of lightening my hair again, so the damage won't be good. So, kind of hit and miss. Service wasn't bad, but I don't think they mixed the colour well either time, as neither colour was close to copper. It's also very hard to wash the dye out. After 4 washes, grays are coming throughI have lots of grays so I am having to color more often than I would like. I have tried your color before and had the same issues with my grays coming through shortly after I colored but thought I did something wrong so I tried your color again but just after 4 washes my grays are very noticeable up front. Color didn't even last 2 washesI tried esalon to go back to my original color. The color was way too dark. In addition, I followed the directions completely, and my roots still ended up darker than the rest of my head. The color washed out after 2 washes which I am grateful for because it was not the color I desired, but hair dye should not wash out that quickly even if it's a gloss. Maybe its my hairI didn't really like the color they made for me, the roots were lighter than the rest of my hair for some reason. I'm not sure as to why the color wasn't as vibrant. It really looked dull and boring. The roots which was the darker of the two colors had almost a different color profile. It really looked like a messed-up box dye. I've colored my own hair many times before, and I didn't find this any better than my typical trip to sallys. So red!The color I received was so red it was brick red. I have dark brown and went with my original color. I was asked if I like red hue in which I do where it’s slight. Adding the developer and watching it turn red freaked me out but I thought well this is a different company. So I went ahead and tried it out and my goodness my hair turned super red. Not the colour i wanted and bad customer supportI wanted to turn my highlighted hair back to my natural dark blonde and as such selected dark blonde from the hair colour palette. The colourist called me and suggested that she added some copper and gold to the colour to make me a strawberry blonde, I told her in no way did I want to be that colour as I have natural red hints in my hair and didn't want to bring them out. So she agreed and suggested to just add some gold to not make the colour too ashy. The colour looks terrible, i'm now a copper/blonde and just happy that it's lockdown and don't have to see anyone. I would not suggest using esalon over a highstreet purchased colour or even better go to a hairdresser. What has made it even worse is that i tried to complain through the online chat which directed me to send and email, and i did this 9 days ago and no one has got back to me. DisappointedThis was the first time I adjusted my color and went from medium brown to "light brown". Although I am happy with the color, it didn't seem to cover my grey hair even though I left it on the same amount of time. Not as good as expected...The service to get my colour organised and sent out to me was fantastic and all done much faster than I expected. However, one of my concerns was stubborn greys that weren't being covered by the supermarket brands. The colour match was great, but sadly, despite following the application instructions, most of my stubborn greys still remain. It is also a very messy and fiddly experience (that I may have gotten better with practice over time) - having applied home hair colours for years, I struggled to apply it in the way suggested, and the final colour rinse step absolutely covered my bathroom in the colour (I am still finding it to clear up today).
