Not only is the color itself beautiful (and blonde is difficult to do) but it actually made my hair feel better after the color process! That never happens; usually, it’s dry and I don’t blow dry it because you can feel the damage. eSalon said wash out the color, which I had never done, to stop overprocessing. They totally know what they are doing, I will never use drug store color again. I love my hair again! Between this color and switching my shampoo/conditioner, my hair has changed so much. It’s starting to feel like hair is supposed to, soft, not like straw. It smells delicious! And it has stopped breaking and falling out!! Unbelievable transformation! Thank you eSalon!!
I absolutely love this product. The color really does have staying power and I don't have to color my hair as often. It is so nice to get everything in one box, including gloves, application brush, etc. Getting it mailed directly to my home is a real plus too, and I don't have to do the shopping.
My hair color not only matches my expectations, the dry texture of my hair from dying blonde and red color for many years feels amazing after one use of my custom color.
im glad it toned the strawberry red back to my more natural auburn color. I was hoping it was gonna be lighter than it was though. I hope to do a lighter drown with blonde highlights next time. Great product!
This hair color is a perfect match just from pictures. And I didn’t get the brassy color that I would get from the professional color. So worth the money. It was very easy to do as well. Must try! I will be a permanent customer.

I started using eSalon four months ago when the pandemic started. When all the stores shut down and I wasn't able to get my usual dye, I got sick of looking at the inch of bright blond roots that invaded my chocolate brown hair. After looking over reviews for a few mail order companies, I decided to give eSalon a try. I am so glad I did! I was able to communicate with them what my hair was like (thick with waves and some split ends), what I wanted to do (add some red to my hair, hide those roots, and maybe add a bit of hair repair), and how often I needed to receive my shipment to maintain my look (every four weeks). Each kit has come with everything I have needed to take care of the dye job, along with easy to understand directions on how to get the job done. I LOVE my new color and I'm hoping to go a little more red in the future. Not only that, but my hair's texture seems to have improved as well! The only complaint I have (and it has nothing to do with eSalon) is that after I'm done, the red has splashed so much in the shower that it looks a little too much like that scene in Psycho! LOL Long story short, I love eSalon and I plan on being a customer for a long time to come!
Am very pleased with your coloring process. I do like the fact that once you put the conditioner on you no longer have to use conditioner; no matter how often you was your hair!

I love this product! Does not dry my hair out and the color is perfect. I always get tons of compliments on the color, as it adds subtle highlights as well.

I have been very happy with my hair color. It is a rich dark brown and the gray coverage is fantastic. After 2 weeks with a box hair color I had gray peeking through already, needless to say I was trying to go gray to avoid the problem. As a last ditch effort I tried Madison Reed, was surprised at how good it is and will continue using it.
The color was just as I expected. The packaging makes the process easy to follow. The coverage of my gray was excellent. I felt the hair color was easy on my hair. All in all this is an excellent product.
I was SOOOOO nervous about doing this, but your team made it so easy to try, and I couldn't be happier! I can color my hair at home while saving LOTS of money! A huge thank you! BRAVO!
This is quality color and I have used many different brands to compare. The color lasts and covers all my gray hairs much better than other brands I have tried. My hair feels soft and silky after coloring. I also love the detailed instructions. Great customer service too!
I can’t say enough good things about esalon. The color is beautiful and just as great a quality as going in to a salon. My first few times took some tweaking to get the color I was looking for, but we finally got it and I couldn’t be happier. Grey coverage is amazing and lasts longer than any drug store color you could get. The team is very responsive to emails and so helpful in getting you the color you want. The instructions are easy to follow and there’s even instructional videos to follow if you need. I couldn’t be happier!
Really pleased with E Salon all over colour they adjusted so my greys were covered much better 2nd time and my daughter found it really easy to apply for me with step by step instructions and so pleased I am going to continue even though my hairdresser is back now ! I will have just a cut in future! I did send them a photo so so they knew roughly my colour beforehand

Twice now I've had my husband color my hair two days before going to get my hair cut at a salon. My new beautician can't tell that my hair color is not my own, and now she wants details on how to get this wonderful product. My real hair color is a very dishwater black color with grays coming in at the usual spots, heavier every month. Not only is my eSalon color beautiful, the texture of my hair is lovely as well.
I wanted the color a little lighter this time, and my colorist chatted with me on the phone to update my formula... and it looks great.
Skin stains always used to be a problem when I had my hair colored at the salon. No skin stains now because of the little extras that come in my kit; skin guard and stain remover. I LOVE it!
And my husband is getting really good at being my colorist. It is saving us money, and creating bonding time together that is positive. I can do it myself, but this has become a new together thing that we do. He loves it when I brag to other people about the great hair color I get when HE colors my hair. Thanks eSalon!

OK, so honestly, I haven't dyed my hair at home since using some boxed dye trying to get rid of some horrible ombre I had a friend do (over 10 years ago).
I really didn't know what to expect. I just assumed I needed to spend $200 every time I needed my hair cut and dyed. Holy crap, I'm impressed! This gives me a vibrant red color that looks and feels just like I got done at the salon. YES. I will be doing this from now on.
I am going on my 3rd kit. I have always gotten salon foil highlights, I am a dark blonde, but my hair typically "lifts"well (according to my stylist). And live with a few shades lighter...With COVID I had to do something. I thought I ordered Madison Reed online, and eSalon came instead! Except for Roots not "lifting" like my salon can get, I am incredibly impressed with the multidimensional colors that come out...not FLAT at all! I still think the darkest areas of my roots are too brassy, and I am getting highlights redone now that my salon is opened again, if they had highlights available I'd try that, unfortunately lightest blonde is out of stock.

Most elegant boxing and and organization of all necessary items to complete my coloring! I love the color, it's perfect...and my hair feels so shinny and soft after coloring!
I had my original tint altered to combat the stubborn red in my natural "brondberry" (blond/brown/red) hair. They did a good job. I am happy with how long the color lasts and covers grays. The one thing I have noticed, is that with long lasting color my hair feels slightly drier than with store bought color. I even use very good, expensive, no sulfate color protecting shampoo and conditioners. Overall, I am pleased!
I have light auburn hair and i have always been afraid to do it on my own because it is so hard to match. But my colorist at esalon got it right the very first time! I am loving this product and don’t plan to go back to the salon for anything other than a cut! Plus, it saves me money!
I had about 3 inches of growth (brown) and all left of my bleach blonde hair.. I was given a color to apply roots and then one to deposit pigmant and color at the same time...WHAT A GREAT MATCH!! not green or muddy ... Shiny and even color throughout... Thank You E salon!!! I am so pleased with my hair color. It looks great. I don't get that strange growth stripe like I did when I used the off the shelf box stuff. The color stays! You don't have to worry about the color dripping off of your hair when you wash it. It doesn't feel fried or gross afterwards.
I like the color and service. I like that if there is a problem e salon stands behind their product. I wont be getting my hair colored at the salon after covid. My hair looks better with esalon and I am saving lots of time and money.
I read the reviews online and I was sceptical but I can honestly say this service is fantastic. The colour is a really perfect shade for me, super natural and my hair feels really healthy, with great shine after application. Best of all, I haven’t got to worry about getting the next batch as I know it will be delivered in one month-what’s not to love?! I’m converted.
I'll admit I was a bit dubious about trying this, but after going crazy in corona lockdown I had dyed my hair purple and needed help covering it. I chose a very dark brown, and I was impressed when someone called me to say I needn't go that dark and a medium brown would work. The colour arrived a few days later, with gloves, barrier gel shampoo and conditioner. It also came with comprehensive instructions which were easy to follow. The colour went on well, I used the bottle application method. I waited for the alloted time and rinsed as instructed. My hair has never felt this good from being coloured at home and I will definitely be using it again. Everyone has commented on how rich and shiny the colour of my hair is now
I had included a picture which facilitated the color specialist to suggest a lighter brown than I had chosen.

Better than salon color.
I adjusted my color formula just before my last shipment. When I called in to change the color it was super easy to speak with a colorist, explain what I wanted to achieve and she adjusted the color. I just applied the new color yesterday and it's perfect, it's exactly the color/shade I wanted to achieve and the shine is fabulous!
I've been using eSalon since 2015 and I've loved my color through several shade tweaks. The new "cream" formulation is so much easier to work with, so easy in fact, I was able to apply the color significantly faster and still achieve excellent grey coverage and final results are amazing.
