E salon popped up on my fb, after struggling to mage time to visit the salon and not wanting to use a supermarket box dye, I thought I’d give it ago. There’s lots of questions to answer to make sure you get what you want, I added a note also. The colourist emailed me to say the colour is chosen she thought would be too golden so she was going to add something to tone it down slightly, which I thought was fantastic customer service! When it came I was so impressed, the presentation of the products was amazing, looks and feels special. I read the personalised instructions then started. I was slightly worried as it was developing as it looked very dark, however when I washed it off it was perfect! I absolutely love the colour and I would actually say it’s the nicest colour I’ve ever had on! I’ll definitely be doing this every month! Thank you so much

I went for the ammonia free color option which I’m glad I did. My hair still feels healthy and normal which is not something I’ve normally felt after coloring my hair at home. My color stylist recommended gradually going darker instead of jumping straight to dark brown (my natural color). This was a smart choice in case I change my mind in the future and want to get highlights again.

It was very easy to choose the color I like, the most experienced nice people going to prepare it specifically for you based on a questions you will answer. I got the incredible set including everything I could ever ask for. I followed the instructions, and it was very smooth process, ends with the perfect results. I got exactly the color I needed, with the moisture, silky, and shiny hair. It was a very nice experience, and definitely going to be repeated for ever. Highly recommend it. Thank you so much

This colour product was a very good match..I wanted the colour tweaked so it was slightly lighter for next time and then I think it will be perfect! The colour lasts well, I’d say a lot longer than other box colour brands off the high street and also from my own hair salon. Very helpful online advice too! Very pleased.

This is a high-quality hair color and MUCH cheaper than the salon! It was so easy. I’m adding the highlight kit this time to see how that works. I highly recommend this product. Use the tip you’d give a stylist and buy yourself something.

I have had my hair colored to cover gray at the salon for many years, and have never colored my own hair, so was very nervous about how it would turn out. But I was very impressed how well it matched my hair color, covered the gray, and how easy it was to use. The directions were very good. Don’t hesitate to give it a try.

Ich habe mit der Beraterin gesprochen und daraufhin wurde die Farbe angepasst. Die neue Farbe ist super und ich werde diese zukünftig nur noch so bestellen. Die Farbe hatte immer einen goldstich und so hat man den Goldton rausgenommen und den Aschton erhöht. Ergebnis war super

Beautifully and thoughtfully packaged with everything one would need for an excellent at home experience. Color shade was spot on for me. The only difficulty was that it didn’t effectively cover all my grays and faded quickly.
Made a request to have my formula altered accordingly and will review after using the updated product.

My experience with eSalon was wonderful from start to finish. My kit arrived faster than expected, and included steps for a pre-treatment (at no extra charge). eSalon sent me the product needed to fill my previously lightened and porous hair, so that my new/darker color would go on evenly. It worked like a charm! My end result was exactly as I desired -- one beautifully glossy, overall color! Thank you!

Lot's of compliments on the color. I had to adjust the color several times to create the color I wished. Each time the color was lovely. The colorists were great and it was a personalized set created just for me. My hair is soft! The newly applied color blended well with the previous color without any lines of demarcation.

This product is easy to use and I love the results. After watching application videos I was able to successfully color my hair. I have gotten many compliments on my hair color. I have also saved money! This is much more economical than going to the stylist. The videos are extremely helpful and have inspired me to seek out videos to provide instruction on how to cut my hair as well. In the beginning I reached out to customer service for assistance in color and application methods. They were very helpful. I would not hestitate to recommend this product and company.

I’ve been using box color for years. I submitted my picture of my hair color and answered all the questions. The color I got was so perfect for me. There was a glow to my hair and a richness that I was not getting from the box color I had been using. It’s been a couple weeks and the color looks the same and has not faded. I got my color about a month ago. It was the perfect color. So easy to use. You get everything you need. My color has stayed so far. I love it.

Im Vergleich zu im Laden gekauften Colorationen hatte ich mit diesem Set ausreichend Farbe und eine gut lesbare Schritt-für-Schritt Anleitung (inkl. Aufkleber um sie irgendwo dran zu kleben). Die Farbe ist intensiv, stinkt nicht und brennt nicht.

I've been a customer since 2016 and have NEVER once been disappointed or questioned my membership. Thank you!! In this world where almost everything is mass produced, and not always with care, receiving my shipment carefully packaged and personalized, is like a warm hug from a dear friend. (Mine is not a common name so I especially appreciate the extra touch.) And of course, I LOVE that my color turns out as expected EVERY TIME.

If you want to color your own hair or have someone do it for you this is a perfect way to accomplish it! They have matched my suggested color very well!! I am very pleased with it!!! The esalon hair color matches what I was striving for much better than any salon I have used thus far!!

This is a very good product. Just be cautious with the frequency of shipments! The color is as described and is long-lasting and conditioning. It is a little strong on the odor side so use a fan, open a window and make sure you have good ventilation. The smell does not last long, so that's a plus.

Color is perfect and stays good longer than any other product I've used. My natural color has no red or yellow and they nailed it. Very happy with this product, definitely worth it. Also leaves my hair in nice condition . PS I have thin hair that is pretty fragile.

The color is perfect every time. The colorists are great. Easy to use, great directions, I enjoy the extra touches such as stain guard and stain remover, 2 sets of gloves, sticker to hold directions, and the box is personalized with my name.

Seit ich meine Haare mit der Farbe von eSalon färbe, bekomme ich nur Komplimente. Wir gesund meine Haare aussehen. Wie schön die Farbe schimmert, hat keinen matten Ton.
Hätte ich keine grauen Haare, würde man den Ansatz überhaupt nicht sehen, da die Farbe absolut natürlich ist.

Love, love, love. Everything you need comes in one package, my hair looks healthy and shiny after application. I have a lot of grays and feel like the kit provides great coverage for my roots. I feel like I am getting better results with this kit at home than at a salon.

The best coverage for gray roots. The color seems to last longer than the boxed products I have been using. I think I would like to go just a little darker with my next shipment.

I'm loving this color and experience! I was sick of going to the salon all the time, it's too tedious for me, so when I heard of eSalon I had to try it! They provide super easy instructions and customer support is amazing. After I let them know I wanted my color a little more vibrant, they were able to adjust my second order color very easily (be sure the send pictures of your hair). I give 4 stars because formula is a little drying but other than that everything is great!

The Colorist assistance is HUGE

When I originally placed my order I selected a color which would have been an extreme transition to my current hair color, going from light level 10 blond to a dark brown/red color. Alexandria P, my colorist, suggested that I start with a lighter color and then transition to the darker color. Oh boy was she right! The custom color she selected came out beautiful and i love it. If I would have done what I should have originally requested it would have been a shell shock! The product and service is great. I will definitely be continuing and following Alexandria's guidance. I was new to home colouring after being made redundant during lockdown and was a bit nervous to be honest.
The instructions that accompany the colour set gives very clear information on how to mix your colour and it's application. The colour set is very easy to mix and does not smell overly strong and the results are as good as any salon visit.
Don't feel worried about trying to colour your hair at home, eSalon products are excellent quality and the enclosed instructions are very comprehensive, eSalon was recommended by a friend, and I won't be returning to a salon for my colour again.

UPDATE (Jan 2022): I have had good experiences with my hair color and with customer service. When I wasn’t completely satisfied with my first color formula, eSalon reached out to work with me on adjusting it and also gave me the next shipment free. I’m really liking the color now—with one adjustment, it’s more the strawberry blonde I was shooting for. I also feel my hair is healthier than it was when I was using box dye.
ORIGINAL REVIEW IN FALL 2021: appreciated the nice packaging and personalization. I also liked the low price for my first order, which included a free brush and color for ends as well as for roots. The process was pretty similar to box dye. The color is ok, not as red as expected. My hair looked a bit limp after and got oily within 24 hours. The color looks pretty good. I’m just not sure I want to pay 2-3 times as much as for box dye when I am not sure the result is noticeably better.

I haven't been to my hairstylist and sat in that uncomfortable chair in months!
The colour is exactly how I like it after some modifications, I love the idea of doing my own hair from the comfort of my home when I decide to do it and I can't get it wrong.

Love my custom color

I used to pay a lot of money to get my hair done. Esalon has changed that. I have been a customer for a few years now, and know one has EVER given me a hair color that really was perfect and fit ME like this. I love it and I hope they never stop selling it because I will never stop buying it!

Ich war erst skeptisch und beim auftragen habe ich schon gedacht 'oje was ist denn das für eine Farbe'.
Aber nach dem auswaschen war ich richtig überrascht und bin begeistert.

This is my first time using the hair color and I have to say the step by step instructions was great also my hair turned out very shining and it looks great. I will continue using esalon.

Every time I’ve changed my color they get it perfect! I rarely even get my hair done at the salon anymore, only if I need blonde added, Thanks e-salon you have saved my a lot of money, and I’m trying new products this time too.

I am a natural red head and have heard all my life that their wasn’t a salon who could replicate my color. I am in my mid thirties and have noticed some gray that I wanted to cover. However, I actually like my natural shade and did not want anything else. I went to a salon twice about 2 years ago. The color was nice but not what I was hoping for. Not to mention it costs a fortune. I am a mom to 2 kids so resources can be tight at times. I came across esalon and boy am I glad.
I kid you not, the shade is the exact match of my natural shade and it covered all of my grays. I am way more satisfied with my at home color treatment than I ever was with my salon visit.
The packaging was so cute and customized. The instructions were easy to follow especially for someone as hair challenged as myself.
I am one happy camper over here!!!! ❤️
