I've been using your color for seven years.I've always been very happy with the results until the last coloring, which damaged my hair. I also notice that you changed the conditioner which seems to make a huge difference in the softness of the colored hair. Not sure if this was what made the difference but there was noticeable damage. Great color but terrible chemicalsI loved the color and communication from the stylist. The product also shipped quickly even though I didn't pay extra for them to expedite my order. The service was excellent. However, the chemicals were far more potent than any dye I've used before. My partner could smell the dye from multiple rooms away. My scalp felt like it was burning, and I had difficulty breathing. I couldn't open my eyes when I washed it out because they felt like they were burning. Of course all dyes have chemicals that are arguably toxic, and everyone's body reacts differently to different formulas. But I definitely can't use this dye again, and I'm hesitant to recommend it to others. Of course, you might have a completely different experience. Awful Smell and Dried out my HairThe smell was horrible. My husband walked in to the bathroom and gagged. I almost couldn't breathe. There was just so, much chemical. During the coloring my hair felt stiff. I thought about washing it out, but waited the recommended 30-minutes. As I started massaging the product out of my hair, my hair began coming out and coating my hands. At one point I was just running my fingers through my hair and it was coming out. Not I expectedI have been told that I am dark blonde. I selected dark blonde (copper pearl,) thinking that it would be close to my hair color and would add a hint of red. It at least looked close to my hair color in the picture. What I ended up with is complete copper, much lighter than my natural hair and not at all like what the picture looks. I have put a request in for help and to see if I can get something darker. I also found that the formula was very pungent and stung my eyes after I had mixed everything together. Great product but shipping delays HUGEThis is the 3rd time I have received an order from esalon. The first came when expected. As did the 2nd. The 3rd I ordered to have on July 1, however, it was not received until July 24th, much too late, resulting in me having to go out and buy another hair dye to use. It all works well until you have a problemI really loved the haircolour and the presentation. The colour lasted quite a while. But then I had a problem with my PayPal and I needed to change email address for my orders. Somehow it was a huge problem. My order was cancelled which I didnt ask to. I was asked to place another order and when I tried, all my items were full price. Nobody willing to help via email and asking me to call international phone number. Listen to the needs of your clients.My review is based on the fact I reintereated several times that dark color is not flattering on me. Also that I needed a medium dark color to cover grays but not too dark and to add some red and gold tones. The color I received was dark brown exactly what I asked it not to be. The color was a disasterThe color I received was too dark for my complexion. It was a dark brown. I sent a selfie of the results and a picture of the color red I was seeking. (reddish orange). The response I got back was to go to a store and buy a color remover. The next month I received the EXACT SAME COLOR! Color too darkWhereas my color had been perfect the two previous times I did it, this time it was too dark. Since I followed the directions to the letter, I can only assume that the formula was mixed incorrectly. I have been using a clarifying shampoo for the past two weeks to lighten it, but it is still too dark. Not for me I’m afraidI was hoping this would give me something nearer to salon coloured hair and feedback was good when it didn’t turn out to be the right colour for me - personally too orange at roots - when a boxed dye could give me a blond root . Unfortunately I couldn’t get my colour during lockdown so tried this . As I’ve said I couldn’t get my roots blond first , second or third time . I followed the instructions to the letter but it just didn’t do it for me . Perhaps if you are a darker colour red or brunette than it could be amazing . Du noir au lieu du marron chocolatJai fait la couleur aujourd'hui. Elle n'est pas marron chocolat comme ce que je voulais. Le rendu est noir dommage. Das Ergebnis der Coloration ist für den Preis, welchen ich viel zu teuer finde, nicht besser oder schlechter als bei einer Drogeriecoloration. Der Geruch ist dermaßen schrecklich und beißend in den Augen, da sollte man eine andere Lösung finden. Meine Haare waren nach Anwendung der beiliegenden Pflegeprodukte trocken, strohig und verknotet. Color not as expectedMy request and original intent was only for my roots to be done as i had new hair growth and gray showing. I sent a picture of my hair as requested which showed my color as a light copper golden brown; more on the golden copper color. When selecting the color for my roots for my initial order the selections did not let me choose the light golden copper only the medium. However after following the instructions and dying my hair, it completely changed the color of my hair from my golden copper to a very dark auburn color. Nowhere close to what I wanted and to my Hair color sent Via the pic with the initial order. I wasted all the money I had put into dying my hair at salons over the past year. Not very happy with how it turned out. I do think the product is good as my hair was shiny and felt soft. Color does not seem to stay.My color seems to fade quickly and not represent what I ordered. Have done 2 shipments so far and will be discontinuing. Jury is still out...I will first start by saying that the color is great and covers grey wonderfully! However, I am still deciding how this is reacting to my hair. I have done one all-over coloring, and one root touch up since joining, and i feel this color really dries my hair out. I have experienced more shedding and breakage since using this brand. A week ago I gave my hair a protein treatment and my hair feels much healthier, so I am hoping that will start to make a difference. I have medium length fine hair. I also feel the color is a bit off. I requested a Beige brown color, but it tends to pull too red on my medium brown/grey hair. I did not send an actual picture of my natural color, so maybe that is my fault. But it seems I need to get some more "beige" tones put into the color formula, (more light brown and grey). WHAT A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEYI wanted blonde hair, what I got was dark brown hair!!! Bad colorThe color that was sent to me turned my hair BLACK, instead of medium to dark brown, and nothing will lighten it. I even went to a salon and the only way to get rid of this one-dimensional, ugly black color is to strip my hair with harsh chemicals and then dye it. Not the color I asked forI asked for a shade or 2 darker for my highlight to blend in with my roots, and the color came out SUPER dark. I went from a super blonde to super brunette, with the ends looking almost black. The box says it was warm beige, but don’t think that was the case. Didn't lastThe color came out quite a bit darker than the usual box color I use but, the coverage was really good. My hair was shiny and felt really nice. However, less then two weeks later my greys were back, and it looked like I hadn't colored my hair in quite sometime. Extreme Enttäuschung! Genau das Gegenteil von dem was ich wollte!Ich habe sehr gehofft, dass diese (angeblich) individuell an die Bedürfnisse angepasste Farbe etwas für mich sein könnte, leider was es eine absolute Enttäuschung! Ich habe zuvor umfassend die Beschaffenheit meiner Haare und dass ich von Natur aus rote Pigmente in den Haaren habe beschrieben, dass ich auf keinen Fall den Rot-Stich verstärken will und deswegen einen sehr aschigen und neutralisierenden Ton brauche. Auch ein Foto hatte ich mitgeschickt. Ich habe genau die Anweisungen befolgt. Das Ergebnis war zu dunkel und ein deutlicher Rotstich (der nach einigem Waschen auch noch orange wurde!) war sichtbar! Davon abgesehen wurden graue Haare überhaupt nicht abgedeckt (und ich habe nicht einmal besonders viele davon)! Die Farbe ist Schrott und die Beratung mangelhaft. Das Geld absolut nicht wert! No 2nd pair of glovesIn my last order there was only one set of gloves. How in the world would you think one pair of gloves is sufficient? After they are covered in dye then I have to carefully try and remove them so I can put on the same dye covered pair for the shower. Now they are covered in dye and my shower curtain and everything I touch getting into the shower is also covered in dye. Color didn’t really takeI was very sad about my first use. My color didn’t take very well. It’s a slightly darker shade so there’s some difference, but just not much. And the roots color seems to clearly be different from the ends with very little blending. And it’s funny because my stylist had at first emailed me to say that this was significantly darker than my current shade and they recommend a gradual darkening since it’s harder to lighten and they don’t want it to come out too dark. Terrible customer serviceCustomer service is a joke. eSalon sent me the wrong color and refuses to do anything about it. They offered to send me a free kit when I went to turn off my plan but I can no longer trust them because they sent me the wrong color. It was red-toned when I've been using ash-tone for the last year. There is no recourse if you have a problem. Not happy with price increase after first orderHappy with my colour but don't know if I'm willing to pay £15 + £5.95 for shipping. It was not clear that the price went up after first order which was £9. I can't cancel as my order is on route. Color way too dark!I created the profile & provided a current picture. A colorist did not contact me for any further clarification. However, the color provided for my roots only was way too dark. There is an obvious separation between the color applied to my roots and my remaining hair, it does not blend at all. This is horrifying to someone who has only had their hair professionally done & does not know how to remedy this situation. Not very likely to reorder nor refer to anyone. Also, I placed the original order on July 7th; and received an email indicating the label had been created along with the tracking information. I checked a number of times on the status, but the tracker indicated the package had not been received. I contacted eSalon on 7/16 with this information & they processed a replacement order. On 7/17, the original order was provided to USPS; and on 7/18 the replacement order was placed with USPS. Did not like the color or the productWas not satisfied with the color or the product, I found that it didn't last as long as it does when I go to a salon and felt it dried out my hair. SAVE YOUR HAIR - don’t use this!!A truly awful experience. I was sent two colors - brown for my roots and bright, clown red for the rest. The result was horrific and I had to go to a salon to have it fixed. When I called customer care, she casually said “we can’t color roots red, so brown is the closest you’ll get without going to a salon and having it done.” Would’ve been great information for them to share before sending me this product. no brushI'm happy with the color. The first time I ordered this product there was a brush for application. The second time, there was no brush and it doesn't appear to be a mistake as the list of items provided does not include "brush". It is very hard to apply without a brush and after getting all set up I didn't want to go out to the store to get one. Not for meTo be completely fair, I did not give them a chance to adjust the color. After two roots touch ups my hair started looking brassy (I have mostly whitish gray ashy blonde hair, going for blonde). My stylist is seeing clients again (after the COVID shutdown) and I prefer to have someone hands-on adjusting my color. This was a lot more reasonably priced than she is, and convenient to have shipped to me.
