I wanted blonde I got brunette with redTerrible product, I got a totally wrong product from blonde to brown/red then after several washed went dark bright ginger. I contacted Esalon to be told to get rid of the red I would have to go darker again ! terrible terrible customer service staff had no idea at all and I also got a reply in French not English. Colour not what expectedReally didn’t have an option of the colour wasn’t what I expected I would have loved it to be darker and richer . It also washed out very quickly and I used the recommended shampoo and conditioner from your site . The colour did not match the advertised exampleI ordered dark blonde permanent colour and It didn’t make any difference to my hair. I send pictures to my colourist so if they knew the colour I chose is the same colour as my current one they should have told me or advised me I guess:( I don’t want to be that customer but I was left very disappointed with the outcome. Does not cover Grey wellI'm very Disappointed in my over color and coverage. I left the roots on for 5 minutes more than suggested to make sure the coverage was proper. I made a point in my color selection to ask for the best color that doesn't give any red at all & they suggested the darkest brown, it definitely has a red cast to it. The Esalon team is great-products just so-soThe esalon hair specialists work very hard to ask the right questions and be helpful. Unfortunately I can only assume they just don’t have the products that work as they hoped. They tried several times to send me color based on my desire for dark neutral blonde. The products turned my hair either very brassy or extremely dark brown that faded to reddish brown. Liked it in the past, but won't be continuingI loved my color when it was a straightforward shade. The two times I've asked for something more unusual, it hasn't gone well. The recent order was frustrating enough that I've canceled the plan—I didn't trust the shade as mixed, and while I was told I could return it, it would have cost upwards of $20 in postage to do so. If you want a basic color, the system is great. If you want anything unusual or more experimental, the process isn't so easy or trustworthy. Not greatI don't think the instructions that were sent with my colour were right. In total I only left the colour on my hair for 15 minutes and the roots only got 5... My hair was patchy as some had developed longer, not only that but a week on and I am still getting colour coming out in the water when I am in the shower. Wrong colorThe initial picture showed a purple color and that was what I wanted. The first bottle wasn't it so they sent me a second bottle to try to fix it but its still not right. grey hair are still hereI just got the same result as the DIY hair colours I buy over the counter, only this one took much more of my time because of all the steps, and more expensive. I followed all the steps religiously and applied more on the grey hair, but when I rinsed and dried my hair, I was still seeing my grey hair being only shyly dyed and translucid, but visible. I think my formula was incorrect.This touch up color set came out as a light violet on my roots. It was not the same as my previous color. I have alot gray/ white hair along with dark brown as roots. It made my roots appear violet purplish kinda of a glowing affect, not for me. My roots have faded some, so I would like some help in adjusting my color very soon. Color washed outI applied the custom color, color matched my current color perfectly. Unfortunately after the 2nd washing (and I was using the provided shampoo), I noticed grey areas showing through all over my head. I have never had issues covering my greys with cheap drugstore brands or other professional dyes. Very disappointed! Love the customer service, love the kits, hate the dyeThe hair dye with this company is so orange, even though I ordered the most ashy colour available. I've also adjusted the colour, which added more ash, and the colour is still very orange. Color Is Fading Too QuicklyI noticed after my color in January that my grays were showing through very quickly like - within five days of coloring. This has never happened before with your product. I’ve always gotten three weeks out of my colors. I just died my hair last Wednesday. It’s now Sunday and my grays are showing through especially around my face. I’m not sure what you are doing differently in my color but I would love for it to go back to the quality that it was before. I will give this one more shot before I cancel my subscription. poor coverageAt first I thought it looked pretty ok but within a few washings the color faded, gray around my face was obvious and dark roots. No grey coverageWas so excited to try this product based on friends' recommendations and reviews. I've not colored my hair in nearly a year. (I'm sure I'm not the only one...) Sadly this didn't give me any coverage for the grey at my hairline at all. Colored the few greys that I have scattered but not the ones in front that most desperately need coverage. Followed instructions with sectioning/bowl/brush and even added extra color using gloved fingertips before processing. Great shine and smooth texture but I need color coverage, not deep conditioning. Turned into red :(Before coloring the hair, my natural color was light brown. I had a couple of light blond highlights. The idea was to color my hair to dark blond, or light brown and I was clear I don’t like red (brassy tones). And that’s exactly how it turned out. My hair is RED almost ORANGE and I was going for dark blonde!!!!when I filled out the hair color choice I specified I did not want anything at all red. I finally got my courage up to try the product and now my hair red, almost orange, nothing close to the dark blonde I had requested. I look like a freggin' clown! Didn't cover my greysHorrible experience 😪 So glad my stylist applied it and was back in the salon so she could fix it although there was no time to cut my hair and had to drive home and wash the secound applied color out myself. Was so disappointed it was my first trip to the salon in a yr due to covid and was a birthday gift. I felt so bad taking up so much of her time I still paid for making her clients wait. Mangelnder Kundenservice und ungewünschtes FarbergebnisIch fand es schade, dass trotz meiner Nachricht in welcher ich nochmals einige Fragen stellte, diese nicht beantwortet, sondern die Intensivtönung einfach direkt losgeschickt wurde, obwohl eSalon eine Beratung verspricht. Leider bin ich auch mit dem Farbergebnis gar nicht zufrieden. Anstatt eines Kupferrots habe ich jetzt dunkelblondes Haar mit einem rötlichen/rosafarbenen Stich. Hätte es toll gefunden nochmals eine Nachricht zu bekommen, die mich z.B. darüber informiert, dass das gewünschte Farbergebnis nicht erzielt werden kann so wie ich mir das vorstelle. Not much of a differenceSadly I really didn’t see a big difference in the color I was going for/my goal for the product:( I know this kind of thing is trial and error since myself and the stylist cannot see each other and talk in person. I had added a picture of my hair color and how that was the color I wanted to upkeep and touch up but, sadly, that is not at all what I got out of my custom color. This was just my first order so I am still going to be giving it a second go. They give you an option to adjust your color and add notes to send to the colorist to hopefully make adjustments to the color/experience you had. I added as much detail as I could as well as a couple notes on the kind of developer volume my previous stylist used (I moved and can no longer see her). Did not colour my greyI coloured my roots last night and I'm so disappointed with the results.Im still grey. I have used this product several times before and always had great results, so not sure what has happened this time as I follow the instructions to the letter. I emailed the Company but had a reply stating next time I order my colour they will change the formula so the grey will be covered,but I'm not happy about that as I stated in the questionnaire that may main concern was covering my grey. I won't be ordering any more products from e salon. GrauhaarabdeckungLeider sind die graue Haare nicht so gut abgedeckt. Ich habe komplett die Gebrauchsanweisung befolgt und alles danach gemacht. Gerade am vorderen kopfbereich sieht es nicht gut aus. Nicht zufriedenHallo ich bin mit dem Ergebnis der Farbe überhaupt nicht zufrieden. Meine Haare glänzen wunderschön aber der Farbton ist total daneben. Ich bin jetzt rotblond bzw erdbeerblond ....ich wollte ein Goldblond und keinen Rotton. Ich habe extra dazugeschrieben, dass ich selber einen leichten Rotstich habe , damit klar ist, dass man da aufpassen muss, das weiß ich von Friseur..... Bin sehr enttäuscht. Cde beaucoup trop longue .Bonjour je viens de recevoir ma cde 1 mois d attente. Heureusement j ai eu une personne compréhensible et qui m a proposé un remboursement après plusieurs appels ou personne ne voulait entendre a part de me proposer 5 euros de remise sur la prochaine commande. Si je n avais pas.eu cette femme j aurai fuit esalon. Pour le moment tant qu il y aura le codiv je ne commanderai plus de couleur 1 mois d attente c est impossible.. Did not cover greysDisappointed. Took many weeks to arrive so ended up buying drugstore colour instead due to timing. Then once I used this product it did not cover grey very well at all. Great colorEasy to use and ALL needed items have been provided. Gave only 3 stars because product was too drying on my hair!! Applied it over a week ago and my hair after much conditioning...is still too dry! Cannot use this product again!
