Did not like!The change to the new color set was very disappointing. It said to leave in for 30 minutes and my hair came out in different shades. The center of my hair didn’t match the outside. What’s going on?I have been using this product for years and all of a sudden the color is inconsistent, does not cover well, and fades terribly. Never Again!!!I've never been so disappointed from a product then I have with Esalon. I give a 2 star rating because twice my hair came out okay looking at best. I've either had hot roots, or just splotches looking results. Or not the color I wanted?? This last batch really sealed the deal for me half my grays are still noticeable. I've been dying my own hair for many years and never have I had results like I've had with this line. You guys should be ashamed of yourselves. Even the shampoo and conditioner (always my favorite part) is like using cheap product. Always leaving my hair feeling and looking awful. And even the shipping takes 5 days sometimes longer to receive after the order is filled. I was so excited to try this product. PLEASE DO nOT SEND further productI emailed the company about this issue the day after I received your kit in May. I said, the color selected was not the right color and DO NOT SEND MORE PRODUCT UNLESS I SEND PICTURES> NOw there is another kit on the way and I still have not been able to send photos of my current hair color because my computer has been down. If I receive another kit before I can send the photos, I will return that too. Also, the post office will not return a package w/o a RMA. Please send an RMA so I can send back your product. Does no long cover my gray hair.The past three colors I have had bad results with my color. It does not color my gray and some hair has color and some does not. I look like I had a bad box color done. I discussed this with a stylist one other time and I did what she advised it did not work. Over the years the formula has changed and what I used to love about my colors is all gone now. Not sure if I actually want to use this nowI opened my box and I’m very skeptical to use this as there’s only 2 very small bottles. I have extremely long and pretty thick hair so I feel like this won’t be enough to fully cover / color my entire head of hair. I looked online and a lot of people who have shorter hair than mine ended up with not enough product and splotchy hair color. The color is awful!I am usually very satisfied with the colors I receive but the most recent one was supposed to be darker than the last and it is not. The color itself is too orange. DisappointedWas very excited to find this company. Placed my order used the product and I even let sit on a little extra because I was finishing a few things while I had dye in. About 30mins. Worst experience everThe first time I received my hair color from esalon, it was the right color which was natural black. The second time I received my hair color from them, they sent me a reddish tinted color and I hate that color in my hair. Not knowing my hair color would turn out that color I dyed my hair and afterwards it looked horrible. I did not change anything in my plan so I have no idea why they sent me that color. I even emailed them about it and they told me to send them a picture which was yesterday and they still have not gotten back to me. You can’t mess with peoples hair. I was furious. I will not ever use their products again. I found a better product to use and got my hair back to how I wanted it. Keine Grauabdeckung1. die Lieferung dauerte viel zu lange. Ich war sehr unzufrieden. Deshalb konnte erst jetzt die Farbe angewendet werden. Die Farbe ist sehr schön, doch leider konnte eine gute Grauabdeckung nicht stattfinden. Ich habe alles so aufgetragen wie angegeben und die Zeit eingehalten (sogar noch etwas länger) aber das graue Haar welches eigentlich komplett abgedeckt werden sollte, ist immer noch sehr prägnant. FormulaI’m sorry this seems to be a very different formula from I started using esalon in 2016. I restarted using it and my hair was stiff and brittle, felt horrible!!!! Color did not do any justice either! I wish I could modify the color myself and see a picture or a preview of what I want. Service not as advertisedCame back to e-salon on after taking a year off from color. Followed all the steps, updated profile with current pictures, and explained exactly what I needed. The colorist never bothered to contact me to clarify anything. Actually I doubt that she even looked at my comments or photos. They sent me 1 bottle of color which would not be enough to color my long hair with lots of premature grey and almost a year without coloring. When I called to get an explanation I was told that there were no colorists available and I’d have to call them back. That is extremely poor customer service and not what this company claims to provide. I’m better off going back to store brands like L’Oreal or Clairol. Formula changed??I have colored my hair both in a salon and at home. I had a couple boxes of color from about 8 months ago and they worked so good with great coverage, deep, rich color, that I decided I wasn't going to a salon anymore and would once again color my own hair. I recently used the box I received 3 months ago, and it didn't feel like the same formula. The color wasn't deep and rich, it didn't cover my grays. I was so disappointed as I colored my hair the night before I was heading on a 2 week vacation. Normally color gives your hair a lift but this actually did the opposite as my hair still looked like it needed colored. I have resorted to using the tint rinse to make my hair look better. Colour great but…The colour is great but since December they are not covering the grey/ washing out very quickly- use to last me 8 weeks now its a max of 3! Was advised to get a darker colour but was the same and didn’t suit me. Shame because the colour is even and nice. Realised today that despite adding an extra item I’ve been charge 5.95 p&p. Couldn’t get it rightI’ve had two goes now at getting the copper colour I get in a salon and both have been unsuccessful. Both times the colour has been much darker and redder than I wanted. After I shared pictures and feedback I thought my second colour would be spot on but it’s even worse, I’m so disappointed. Color was way lighter on my rootsFor some reason this color gave my roots a golden hue while the rest of my hair was the darker, desired color I ordered. I was not happy at all with the look and this was the reason for my canceling. I received and was charged for a second round of color before I had a chance to try the first, otherwise I would have cancelled sooner to avoid being charged for two rounds of color. Dull lifeless color that washes out in a weekAfter over two years of being a customer I finally give up. The color is never what I ask for, there is barely any red pigment in it and it’s disappointing every month. After a week it has half washed out already. brassy orange colorI wanted to love this kit. I color my hair at home often and never have issues. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case with this kit. I specified I needed all over color as I was going a shade lighter. I was sent a “roots only” kit. The color was way off from what I requested. It was to be a medium blonde. It turned my roots a weird brassy, orange color and completely dried out my hair. I utilized the enclosed shampoo and conditioner hoping this would combat the dryness. It didn’t. I couldn’t even get a comb through my hair without a heavy dosing of leave in conditioner, which is not normal for my hair. Save your moneyNot very impressed with this product especially for grays. Purchased the shampoo/conditioner sold on here and witching a week the grey was showing again. Poor gray coverageI agree with other reviews. I have been happily using this product for quite a while now but recently within two weeks my grays are showing through clearly, and I’m noticing poorer coverage even immediately after coloring. I thought it was me - I didn’t realize the formula had changed. A bit disappointed and will try another brand. premiere commandeSur la couleur, quelques modifications à faire mais l'avis général est positif. Par contre, ayant indiqué des cheveux épais, j'étais juste niveau quantité (ayant l'habitude des colorations maison, je mets les bonnes quantités). Pour ma seconde commande, on vient de m'envoyer la quantité pour racines uniquement (alors que le prix est le même que pour racines et longueurs). Etant blonde, j'ai besoin d'étirer sur les longueurs pour éviter le jaune. Bref, j'attends de voir la quantité à recevoir mais je suis un peu déçue. My roots are orangeI followed the directions exactly, timed everything to a T, and my roots are ORANGE. It's going to cost me $325 for a color correction in a salon to fix this. I've been getting my hair colored in a salon for decades and thought I'd give this a try. I do NOT recommend it if you're going lighter. Grey coverage is disappointingLike several other reviewers, I have noticed that the grey coverage isn’t as good as it used to be. Also, my color is oxidizing (going from dark brown to brassy orange) sooner than normal (with usual and consistent exposure to sun, which speeds up oxidation). Ruined my hairSo unhappy, ordered a light brown mahogany copper colour, my hair was a bright copper beforehand. Turned it a dark red/brown, mucky looking. Devastated as it took so long to get my hair to that shade and now it's ruined and will cost me more money to fix. Would give zero stars if I could. Even the hair colour in the bottle was dark purple, I rechecked the colour over and over and all said "light brown mahogany/copper. * AVOID AVOID AVOID * Edit to reply: No I haven't been helped or contacted by anyone. HindsightI was hesitant to try your product although I have heard amazing reviews from podcasters. I haven't tried to color my hair at home in 25 years. I had a terrible result. But I take partial responsibility but also found the directions poorly done. First mistake, when asking "for your natural color hair", I completed the color choice chart, my natural color's lightest choice was SO dark that I bumped my self up to the least blondest of what seemed the right color. * I think in doing this I choose too light of a bleach and the results were penny copper. ** It was pretty horrifying. Another error is I felt like there was so much mixture that I didn't need to mix it all and put it all on my head. So I left some back. ** I should have mixed it all and only used what I needed. (this could be stated in the directions too) The final big misunderstanding came with the application. I was given a brush and instructions to choose to use the brush or apply directly to the hair. There was no further instruction as to why I would choose one over the other. Which tool is best for my desired results and how to use the brush tool. No changeI was so excited to get my color and try it out, but after I went through the whole process, there was literally no change at all on my hair. The roots were still grayish and the overall color didn’t change at all. It’s frustrating because I don’t want to over process my hair, so I’ll have to wait 8 more weeks before I try to fix it. Wrong colorI have used E Salon for 5 yrs and never had any problems. The last 6 mos, I have been sent the wrong color formula. I have informed E Salon every time and they keep sending me the wrong color formula. It is labeled with the same color formula, but I am mahogany and the color formula has gone from dk brown to light yellow. Didn’t cover my graysI was disappointed when I colored my hair and still have gray hair right on my hair line which I saturated in color. I have black hair so it really shows and looks terrible. Shame formula has changedVery disappointed, after using this products.for a couple of years now, i have had 3 subsequent disasters.
