Coverage of productThe last couple of times I’ve used your product, I feel the coverage of gray has not been as good. I agree with another’s statement below that it seems like a rinse that washes off after shampooing a couple of times. Disappointed!I've been a customer for years and I never really had an issue until lately. The color seams to fade quickly but it also doesn't seem to be grabbing or holding onto the hair it has been applied to. The color now doesn't have that shine to it anymore. I have complained for the last 6 months and have been working with them to get a better color out to me, I have even sent photos with the right color to them. Unfortunately, the color I get back isn't even close and within a week or two has lightened up to a nasty puke Orangie/yellow color. As far as it does not stay on my hair, they just print in my instructions to leave it on 10 minutes longer. I've done that and knew that's not the answer. Orange!I was excited to try this product after reading such great positive reviews. I went through the process and followed directions to a tee! My hair was not blonde, but a hue of orange! I let the team know and said they would adjust the color and I need to follow directions. Hmmmm, what I did. Anyway, I received an email that my order was about to ship, so I hopped on line and skipped to the next shipment. Received an email a few days later that they had sent my color and charged me! I don't want your products! They don't work Called customer service, she said I did not cancel shipment( what!) Faded way too fast!Have you changed something? This last order I used started fading after just 2 weeks and now 1 month later I have brassy, faded red highlights that are not attractive! I never had this happened before with earlier applications, but it has happened with the last 2 hair color orders. 3 toned hairAfter my partner coloured my hair as written in the instructions, my hair ended up being 3 different colours. I found the texture of the cream nice and thick, and the colour in the bowl was beautiful, but unfortunately my hair wasn't happy and looked awful. What happened?I never write a bad review, but my last order was a nightmare. My developer was open and leaking, and after coloring my hair, it was dull with no color at all. I went to my stylist a day after I colored and she commented on how dull the color was… I had just colored it the day before. No gray coverageAlthough it was a nice package, that makes me feel like a salon hair color, the gray coverage was awful, so my gray hair did not get the color as well as my natural hair. Nur kurzzeitiger EffektLeider ist die Farbe wieder komplett herausgefallen. Es sollte eine Farbkorrektur sein um den rot/Gold Ton zu entfernen. Jetzt ist er nach nur 4 Wochen wieder komplett da. 1. Färbung war vom Farbton perfekt. Ich war begeistert. Zweite komplett anders und das bekomme ich jetzt nicht mehr weg. Die dritte hatte nur einen kurzfristigen Effekt der nicht so war wie die erste Färbung. Er hat lediglich eine Farbe darüber gelegt um den goldTon zu neutralisieren, die mit jeder Haarwäsche mehr und mehr heraus viel. Schade. Ich bin sehr enttäuscht darüber. Seit 2019 Kundin, aber leider seit der letzten Bestellung sehr unzufriedenIch bin seit 2019 Kundin mit einem Flex Abo und war bisher auch sehr zufrieden. Leider war ich mit dem letzten Farbset sehr unzufrieden: Die Farbe war eher wie eine Tönung, d.h ich musste nach 2 Wochen wieder nachfärben, das Shampoo roch sehr perfümiert, ebenso wie die mitgesendete Spülung. Zum Glück hatte ich noch ein älteres Farbset von Esalon auf Vorrat, welches noch die alte Qualität hatte. Ich werde mir die nächste Lieferung von Esalon genauer anschauen und schauen, ob die Qualität wieder stimmt und die Farbe wieder länger hält. Last product was not goodI have been disappointed by the last shipment. The color faded off within 8 days revealing my grey hair. FarbeDie Farbe war mir zu hell , aber das ist nicht das Problem, das kann man bei der nächsten Bestellung ändern. Mein Problem ist das sich die Farbe sehr schnell auswäscht und man schon wieder färben muss, weil es sonst unmöglich aussieht. No Color DifferenceI ordered an intense pearl shade for my brown hair. It’s currently caramel colored from 30V creme lightening in my previous dyes. I wanted a nice deep purple shade and that’s what it looked like in the visual example. The dye itself looked purple, however, it provided no purple shades whatsoever to my hair. Repeat order I wasnt aware ofI've used esalon once, the dye was OK, nothing particularly special and the colour faded significantly within a week or so. I use an expensive shampoo and conditioner for preserving colour and a conditioning spray every time I wash my hair too. I've also never experienced such a strong chemical smell from a dye before, the fumes made my eyes water and a small amount went down my nose and into my throat while rinsing my hair. My throat was incredibly sore for about 2 weeks afterwards. But to make it all worse I've just had just shy of £30 taken from my account for a repear order. I must have ticked a box somewhere to say I wanted a repeat order (I'm normally very careful about anything like that), but at £27.95 for a home kit, that amount definitely wasn't obvious when I made my first order of around a tenner. Slightly Disappointed with the qualityOrdered for the first time to try at home hair color, the color itself was much lighter and although it gave good highlights like feeling on the hair, the roots were lighter than the strands and looked uneven . DisappointingThe coverage of this is really poor. I followed the instructions to the letter and have still clearly got roots and grey hair showing. The colour on the lengths of my hair is patchy (at best) and the colour didn’t colour the red tones in my hair (despite me asking the colourist if it would) so I now have brown hair at the top and dark red in the lengths. I’ve had better results from a shop bought box of dye at a 1/3 of the price. There’s been no offer to help rectify this problem just a credit on my account for the same item. I can’t see how throwing the same dye at it is going to change anything? I’ll still have brown roots and red hair. Just really, really disappointed that no one is willing to help. Ruined my hairI have requested my 2nd colour set to be a little bit lighter than my previous colour however I was very very disappointed as it makes my hair orange especially during the day. It is not ash brown as I want it to be. The formula made my hair so brittle and very very dry. Very disappointed and will no longer renew my subscription especially they’re increasing the price! Embarrassing ColorAfter coloring my hair, following the directions, I had an obvious line where my greys had been. Where the grey was is now a reddish/brown, then a distinct line and then the brown color my hair should be. I colored it in coordination with a hair appointment and was mortified my hair looked like it did. My stylist asked what happened. Didn't feel much different than a drugstore brandWasn't overly impressed with my color, to be honest. I think my color turned out too orangey red to be considered mahogany. AgreeI totally agree with previous comments that something has changed. My gray coverage lasts 2-3 weeks tops. Extremely frustrated. I wonder if it's worth it any longer? I have had to go to a hairdresser in between to touch up b/c I no longer trust this product to last. Could you please be transparent and tell us what has changed? Does not cover grey.I told the customer service person to cancel my subscription but she kept wanting me to talk to the colorist. I am not going to keep paying for a product I’m not satisfied with. The 100% guarantee is not true. 3 boxes came and no offer of a refund for poor grey coverage. I shouldn’t have to repeat to a colorist that grey is not covering when the original ask was grey coverage. I also did not sign up for a subscription. I ordered just to try the product out. Then I got another box and another one is on the way. I had barely used the 1st box. Without getting feedback if the 1st box was satisfactory they send more boxes. It was okI was not as impressed as I wanted to be. After my previous online color provider closed leaving me with only a few options besides drug store color, I decided to try eSalon. Color was not as dark as I thought it would be and it seems to be fading faster than the other color I used. I decided to change my color to darker, so we will see how that color is. Quality ReducedI have been eSalon customer for many years and I was happy with the product until recent months when I started to experience that the color was not sticking for even a week period, after the first wash the color started to go off the roots and within the next couple of washes the gray roots are obvious. Did not produce the color i expected.I expected to be a dark, ash brown. My hair is jet back with silver highlights. I look like I have a ton of grey hair when the light catches it. (I had no grey hair before). Trying this product was a mistake. Not Covering Gray, STILL Incorrect Color & Excessive BreakageDespite my extremely detailed CONTINUAL requests, the color in my kit is still incorrect! I require a light to medium copper, (the color of my hair), to touch-up my roots between visits to the salon. No matter how many times I've specified, I'm yet to receive a color remotely similar to that I've requested--light/med copper! I don't want burgundy, mahogany or anything resembling either, but that's what you continue to send - my color requests, to date, have apparently been ignored as I continue to receive burgundy, mahogany &/or variations/combinations thereof. I've had to get highlights because my so-called estyle "colorist" couldn't follow instruction, blended the wrong color & I didn't realize until it was too late. Moreover, regardless, of which color you send-- NONE of them cover gray. I followed the instructions (time-periods) carefully, but still the gray in my hair remained. In addition to the aforementioned, and most upsetting of all, is that your hair color BREAKS-off a great deal of my hair each time I use it. As stated, I followed directions precisely & was very careful not to leave it on longer then instructed. I realize there is some breakage when coloring, but this is much more than experienced previously or since- if I use much more of your color I'll be bald & won't have to worry about hair color &/or covering gray! Didn't cover my gray hairI'm just disappointed. The color kit did .it cover or mask or color my gray hair at all. It only made them stand out even more after I put the color on my hair. not what I requestedI can tell without even trying this shade that it will NOT work for me...I want reddish to golden highlights and a deep rich shade... can you send me another mix? you do not need to send the developer ...just a color adjustment. Dieses Mal sehr enttäuschtIch habe weder ein leuchtendes rot noch bin ich mit den Ansätzen zufrieden. Ich versteh das nicht. Ich habe jetzt eher ein langweiliges Rotbraun oder keine Ahnung was das sein soll. Und ich habe den Eindruck dass die Ansätze nur leicht übertönt sind . Die „Tinte Rinse“ ist super schön. Ratio inconsistentSo I been witnessing inconsistencies on the ratio developer/ color for a while..no biggie I guess ... The last shipment was soo obvious that the color bottle was full and developer a 1/3 of the bottle. ( I have pics) Did u change the formula.. I like to know the exact amount Of developer and colors..so I can make sure I get the result expected.. Making me a bit nervous the inconsistencies.. I am expecting a RSVP.. Thank you! Horrible formulaFollowed directions to the letter. Hair turned out copper roots, pink ends, and patches of blond that didn’t get covered. I didn’t even want to leave the house, I was so embarrassed. Took out the brassy red, but did not lighten the brownI was happy that my color adjustment took out the brassy red in my hair, but the brown did not get any lighter. Dry hair, greys show, too red but they do helpNot a fan. Hair felt terrible after. Didn’t cover all greys. Color was way too reddish. This was a bad idea. Quality of productThe last couple of times I have used my color I noticed it was different, not a light brown but more orange. I also noticed that I have a lot of grays that didn't color and around my face I'm lucky if I get 2 weeks. My main concern is how orange my hair looks, I used a color balance blue shampoo to help with orangeness, but it didn't help much. I've been a member since 2012 and never had any issues until now.
