What a waste of time and moneyOrdered a custom color after researching and reading reviews as I wanted my hair two shades lighter. I was super excited when it came in, did a strand test and didn’t notice any difference but figured maybe it was just too small of a piece. Did my entire head, and my hair is darker than it started. And now I can’t lighten it as now it’s been permanently dyed and lightening with color only works on virgin hair. Would have to bleach it now and can’t do that for weeks either. Wrong color formulaI asked to go lighter and it darkened my hair color. I’m ready to call it quits if they can’t get the color right. EnttäuschtLeider bin ich mit meinem Einkauf nicht zufrieden. Erstens hat der Versand ungewöhnlich lange gedauert, was bereits ärgerlich war. Zweitens entspricht die Haarfarbe nicht meinen Vorstellungen. Ich hatte mehrfach erwähnt, dass ich ein helles, aschiges Braun möchte. Stattdessen sind meine Längen dunkelbraun und aschig, während der Ansatz ein warmes Braun mit einem Rotstich aufweist. Fades and low coverageWhen new on the colour is perfect, but it fades after only a few washes. Demi permanent-soft blackI absolutely loved all the packaging, the custom shade was great, but this was my first time using a demi permanent, so maybe im just unsure of how long a demi should last, but the very first time I washed my hair, 3 days after colouring, I was almost back to the colour my hair was before coloring. I used the rest of the shampoo/conditioner that came with my kit, and only used mildly warm water. By the 2nd shampoo, the colour was completely gone from my hair. This is the second order I was forced to place, as the company withdrew the money and claimed it had already been shipped, so I was no longer able to cancel it. Extremely disappointedI have been getting ready for a 2600-mile road trip to attend a huge family gathering with my family that I have not seen in years, recently I've been struggling with my hair since after 15 years of dying it black I decided to work my way back to my naturally platinum blonde hair and of course in that process I've managed to really screw up my once beautiful hair. I wanted to look presentable on this trip, so I turned to my browser for advice and ideas on what to do with my hair to make it better when I came across this website and after reading the details and taking the quiz, I had hope for my lifeless dull hair and then my package arrived in such poor condition I was actually in tears. One of the developer bottles had leaked out all over everything, the bottle looked as if it had been squeezed very hard yet it appeared to be unopened. The instructions were ruined by this and they were so stuck together it almost took ripping it in order to unfold it. Two different coloursI got my new box and only had time to color my hair now. I received two different colours, one red and one brown. Unfortunately I only picked it up a bit to late and started with the red. My grey roots is now an orange red colour while the rest of my hair is dark brown!!! Not what i was hoping forMy color is dull after a couple of days. The gold tones are coming through when I wanted ashy tones. Too brassy....and really one toned, not multi layered color. This is an unreliable product and unsatisfactory serviceI have a 6 months customer history with eSalon, time in which I was in awe of them (at start) only to be let down by both quality of product (had dye sets not covering grays) and service (unanswered outreach, delays in order processing and delivery). I have just cancelled my order and subsctiption because of delays in both order processing and shipping. I am so disappointed! Did not cover gray well 😔I wanted to love this, but unfortunately it did not cover my grays very well at all. It’s definitely better than before I dyed it but you can see the orange-ish color instead of dark brown on the gray. Did not do muchApplied hair colour like in the videos and left it for a while, after washing the hair it did not cover the grey hairs and there wasn’t much of a difference on the rest of the hair, also it came with little amount of colour, for thick long hair it wasn’t enough. Bin enttäuschtMir ist wieder die falsche Farbe gesendet worden. Ich hatte die Farbe von BG-2 vor der letzten Lieferung wieder auf BG-1 geändert, hatte aber trotzdem die falsche Farbe bekommen und ein paar Tage später kommentarlos die richtige. Customised colorAt first I was happy with the product and it seems to last longer than over the counter hair dye. I made some changes to the color and for some reason I started having an allergic reaction from it after applying I’d get a dry itchy scalp and red spots. Damaged my hairWhen my first box arrived it was missing items and, most importantly, instructions. I followed a friend’s esalon instructions, which didn’t mention that you shouldn’t overlap with previously colored hair. I had a chunk of hair professionally bleached over a year ago, Feb 2024, and my hair was still very healthy, no breaking. However, since using the box and applying to the bleached section of hair, it’s become dry and brittle. I didn’t know there were instructions online as they are near impossible to find. Kit super mais ne tient pasLe kit est super, très bien expliqué et bon packaging. Toutefois c'est ma 2eme commande et malgré le soin que je mets à l'appliquer (une fois seule et une fois aidée) ça ne tient pas... cela fait moins d'une semaine mes racines ne vont pas du tout et mes cheveux blancs sont visibles. Ce n'est pourtant pas la première fois que je fais des colorations, j'ai l'habitude. confused with optionsGreetings I was befuddled to receive 2 different colors in the box (remember I am a layman not a salon worker) The first was for the roots which matched my natural color-which i havn't been since I was in high school, Im 51; then, there was a more coppery tone to wash thru the length of hair. In the esalon defense a color chart was supplied to recognize the difference but why would I use two different colors? Anyway I used the 1st color, my more natural root color and brought that thru my hair which is a lovely tone however not the color I was hoping for. My hair turned orange.I don’t know what happened. The first bottle that they had sent me foamed up purple. I’ve never had a hair color turned that color. My hair turned orange.
