Delivered fast and nice custom packagingYes, it go delivered in less than a week. And yes i love that every bottle had my name on it. But, they don’t tell you that everything you need to get your custom color, cost EXTRA money. I bought the color i wanted. I wanted to go from dark brown, to light ash brown….. the hair dye made my hair look DARKER. I asked my friends and family and they all agreed with me. I really wanted to try to since they said it’s better quality than the box hair dyes. Yes, it’s prettier and more custom. But the color is the same as a box…. Shows one picture but when you dye your hair it doesn’t come out like the picture…. So then i looked around the website and i needed to buy lighter to lighten my hair…. And then i wanted highlights….. ALL those were additional charges that was not made clear. I’m just going to go to Sally’s. Color not what I expected and left a burn on my foreheadI really love the concept of getting my own custom color for less, but I have a sensitive scalp and I guess this just didn’t work for me. package came damagedI"m a flight attendant and I'm on the road constantly. So last week, I decided to color my hair. I took out my box and I saw where is leaked into the box. I honestly thought something else spilled on it. I mixed it as I usually do and started to sectioning off my hair. When I was going to start the color, the bottle was extremely warm to the touch. I have had that happen only once before. Not usual qualityI was shocked by the state of my latest shipment. I am a long-time customer and I’ve never received a color set like this one. Even during the pandemic, the kit wasn’t like this. If I had been a new customer, I would not have trusted the quality and would not have used the product. The box was beaten up and partially open. I realize this was a mail issue, but inside wasn’t any better. There was not the usual packaging. The items were crammed in and only the developer and color were in a partial shaped cardboard piece. The developer was missing the little cap, and it was some random shampoo and conditioner, not Esalon. It just looked messy and unprofessional. My hair colour didn’t changeMy hair colour didn’t change. I have dark brown hair. I selected medium brown mahogany copper. My hair colour didn’t change. Maybe the slightist bit copper when the light shines, but that’s even a long shot. My hair is still dark brown and doesn’t look different honestly. I studied hairdressing, so the fact the developer is only 20 vol is concerning as I learned 20 vol only changes tone, it doesn’t lift hair colour (go up a shade). . So yeah. It is not a demi permanent colour, ruined my hairI’m so extremely disappointed. Ignoring such a late wait time ( website states AU at the end and shipping time was nothing like on the website) Texture of the dye it weird, kind of like oil not cream, made my hair so freaking dry and horrible to touch. I wasn’t able to brush them for over a week which made then snap Also I ordered a demi permanent colour which came with 10% developer (I found it high but im not a hairdresser) and trusted you guys. Its a permanent hair dye!!!! That I was avoiding for years. You ruined 7years of me growing my hair back. Now I have horrible line and regrowth which I have never got before from demo permanent. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Destroyed my hair. Not goodI followed instructions to a "t." I'm not a newb here, I'm 47 and basically full gray coming in. I was so disappointed when I got out of the shower and my roots were light pink at best. Either the timing was off or the formula is off or something because it didn't take. I saturated them too. Caused huge allergic reactionI have been using eSalon's hair dyes since lockdown and was originally very happy. The last couple of shipments of my custom colour have caused me to have an allergic reaction. Initially like contact dermatitis - itching, flaking and sore around my scalp and ears. This time, my forehead is completely swollen and I am in a lot of pain. Didn't cover the graysI followed the instructions exactly but was disappointed to see just as many grays in my part line as before my coloring. The good and bad ( not so good this time)Ok the good and bad: 💓💔I like the concept behind esalon. Their other products are wonderful. Like the tint rinse and shampoo and conditioner combos. Love the colorist team and how fast they answer any questions or concerns. The bad, the color doesn't seem to take with my grays. I'm 44 years old so I have some gray hair on the side. Hair feels and looks nice for a couple weeks but the color does not hold. It maybe just this color I'm trying as I've had good luck with others. So I'm not ready to toss in the towel yet. I REALLY wanted to like it...I really wanted to like this product. I raved about it on my social media before I even tried it. The kit is awesome, shipping was so fast. I literally received it the same week I ordered. I followed all directions to the T and I provided pictures and history as to how black hair dyes always seem to fade quickly to brown or have a red undertone. I selected blue black permanent and my hair came out light red brown at the top and slightly more black on the ends. I'm really confused because even the cheapest blue blacks have never done this. I thought I could message my colorist because that's what they claim. But I have yet to receive any response and I find it odd that I'm expected to rock this half red brown half black hair till my next color shipment where they'll revise the color. Nicht überzeugtLeider bin ich mit dem Ergebnis nicht zufrieden: Als erstes war es sehr ärgerlich, dass beim Mischen das halbe Badezimmer mit Farbe gesprenkelt war, weil die Flasche oben an der Spitze offen war und beim Schütteln die Farbe herausspritzte, was ich zu spät bemerkte. Farbe hellblondDie Farbe fand ich viel zu dunkel. Der Ansatz war eher rötlich blond, in der Länge viel zu dunkel, erst nach dem 3. Waschen ist mein Haar in der Länge wieder etwas heller geworden. Demi is not DemiThe color sent to me was actually permanent. I specifically chose demi to use on virgin hair so that it wasn't permanent. I only purchased a few times and after using this for the last time about 7 months ago, I STILL have the stubborn color in my hair. When I finally scheduled an appointment with a colorist in a salon she told me that there was no way the color I used was demi permanent. Doesn't last a month.I dyed my hair less than a month ago and I already have to do my roots again. I will be canceling, I can get better dye at the grocery store that lasts a lot longer. It did nothing and when I emailed support, she was super rude.The color did nothing. I wrote in my account that I do highlights and I got color for just my roots. The color did not even change my hair. Tolle FarbeLeider ist die Flasche für die Ansatzfärbung viel zu viel gewesen. Die Hälfte der Menge hätte locker ausgereicht. Why change great?!I love my hair color from e-salon and have used it for a number of years. I also loved the shampoo and rinse that was included. On my recent order, there was a different shampoo and rinse that smelled like medicine. Definitely not an improvement! Color very thickI usually have no problems with color but this last bottle was extremely thick and would not even come out the bottle , I made the home bigger in the bottle and still just too thick! Color is not what I wantedThis is my second time coloring with eSalon. First off, my grays do not take this color very well - I have to process for over an hour which might be why My hair feels really dry and damaged…. Also it’s auburn with red tones and I included in my review from last time that I wanted to remove the brassiness and neutralize red! Good pigment but leaves hair very dry.Not super happy with it. My hair is more than 60% grey, it did cover quite a bit of the greys but it left my hair very dry and the colour is very brassy, where it should have been ash. Loving the Color!!I really liked the shade of color and the excellent coverage. However, I really didn't like the texture of my hair after the process. NEVER AGAINI was not very happy with my results, the color did not cover my gray hair at all. I think it needed more than the 30 minutes it said to process. Other than that the rest of my hair looks and feels great. I will give your product one more chance before I move on. January 19, 2023, So I gave it another shot and I am even more disappointed than before, it's like I didn't even put dye on my hair!!! The directions only increased the processing time by 10 minutes, from 30 to 40, well I left it on for an hour and it did not make my hair look any different, still had all my gray!!
