Weird residue left on my hair.I love the color. But after using the shampoo and conditioner that came with it, I have a waxy, greasy residue left on parts of my hair. I have tried to wash it off with my own shampoo and conditioner and it won't budge. Needs to cover grey, not turn red as it wears, ashy, darker like Kris KardasiansThis color didn't last long and didn't cover my grey roots. It turned red as it wore off. I would like the color to be a darker dark, dark brown and more ashy. I need it to cover my grey better. Hate my colorMy hair color got ruined by using esalon. I used to have brown hair, now it looks black like a vampire. They got the color completely wrong. Very bad experience!I have used this product in the past and never had a bad experience. With the last order that I received, I was mortified to say the least! Upon rinsing it out of my hair, as soon as the water hit my hair, the product felt like it became wax. The more I tried to rinse it out, the worse it became. I called the representative and she told me it must have been residue left on my hair from my last coloring. Which I knew was not the case, because I have not colored my hair in over a year. And by the way, the color was esolon. Because of the service that I received over the phone from the representative, I decided to withdraw my subscription. Shipping problemI'd say that overall, I've been very happy with the product. Generally 4-5 stars, really. However, the last processor bottle had a small puncture/hole. There was nothing for me to mix as it filled the tray by the time it was delivered. Colour Faded Shortly After DyeingThe colour was pretty for about the first three days, it then faded into a copper and finally turned to a brown colour that is slightly darker than my natural shade. Lovely color, but difficult to rinse cleanI have been using the custom hair color for several months now and I love the color result. My only complaint is that when following the instructions exactly, there is a strange waxy build up on my hair that is very difficult to remove during the rinsing/shampooing process. The first time I used the kit, I used the Stain Guard around my ears and hairline, so when I discovered a gummy residue in my hair, I assumed that it was the Stain Guard which had warmed up in the rinse water and migrated to my hair. The next month, I didn't use the Stain Guard cream at all, but after toweling off my freshly-colored hair, I again found the residue throughout my hair (it feels like I had taken a scoopful of styling wax and mashed it into clumps of my hair). I re-shampooed a few times to remove. This month I shampooed VERY thoroughly and then shampooed again after a long rinse in warm water. I STILL have remaining residue (though less than before). Customized ColorI have been disappointed in eSalon's color match for me. Though, I had requested the last color be changed, it wasn't. I really love esalon butSS-07-15V Made my hair brassy right from the colouring. I think I will have to go to a salon and have it corrected. I guess I should have stuck with SS-06-15V, It is very pretty, but over time it does go brassy. First time userThe color turned out to be much darker than I was hoping for. I wanted a more vibrant color. I hadn't uploaded a picture on my first go round, but have now done so, hoping that will get the formula closer to the color I am wanting. While I am not happy with the color per se, I am happy with the overall coverage it gave me, in that it was seamless from my roots to the tips. HorribleMy roots, length and ends were three different shades of a red-orange mix with purple tones. It looked worse in sunlight. Unflattering and darker than requestedI requested a color lighter and more golden/red than my natural color, in hopes of something lighter for summer. I was so excited to try something different. But when it was all finished and I excitedly styled my hair for the first time, I was so disappointed. Lighter than " dark blonde" next time!Color was supposed to be 2 shades lighter. Barely see it, on the roots, but still gray, and still dark brunette. Rating is a 1 star out of 5. Because now I must go get retouch for gray till a shipment AGAIN of what I thought I was buying, hopefully will give me color I requested. I've been blonde blonde, and I've been brunette brunette. So, at this stage I went from 6g to 2 shades lighter, a dark blonde, less gold. Maybe I should of requested a medium blonde with highlights. Do you have a kit that can color and highlight, gloss, etc? I don't see any change with every color you send so far. BEWARE! Harsh Color It burned my head!The 1st time I left the color on for 30 mins and it was so painful. Not enough redMy color this time is dark enough, but it had too much blonde and not enough red. I like the shade of the color, I didn't like that it was dark blonde with red undertones. Not as good this timeThis is my third application with my custom esalon kit. My grey roots were not covered as well this time. I think I did everything the same. One week later and the grey on the top of my head near my part and the sides near my face are looking like they need to be done again soon. So disappointingI was so excited to dye my hair when I received the package in the mail; however, the results were nothing like I expected.
