Not what I expectedI was not pleased with my last color. I had hot pink patches. Mainly on the ends where my hair was lighter. I didn't like this color. Disappointed 😞My Hair color was great the day of and day after coloring.Exactly what I wanted. I recieved so many great compliments on my color. After the first washing half the color came out, my hair color looked faded and dull. I used color safe shampoo and waited 2 days before washing. Not the same as I've been getting previously.This order turned my roots brassy and didn't match the rest of my hair. I haven't changed it and have been happy with the results on previous orders but this one either wasn't meant for me or I got a batch that was bad. There were some areas that didn't take the colour at all. The gray went a bit whiter which I don't mind but everything else was reddish and not at all the colour I've received in my other orders. Pretty color...butI love the color my hair turned out, however, the actual dye was almost impossible to get completely out of my hair. I thought I just wasn't thorough enough the first time, so I reluctantly tried the dye again the next month, and same issue. Spotty coverage for gray hair?I've been coloring my gray hair myself for more than 20 years. This was my third hair color shipment from eSalon. I was very pleased with my first two shipments. However, this last one did not last on my gray hair. I did complain to customer service, only to be told to start at my grayest areas first and that my next shipment's color time would be longer. Funny, how I didn't need to do anything different with my first two hair color treatments. No apologies offered. Too dark for meI like the idea and the products in general but I couldn't get the lighter blonde I wanted to blend my roots and soften my highlights. I ended up with a medium dark blonde for my roots which they recommended. Now I have 2 different colors of hair top and bottom and need the salon to fix it anyway. My hair feels awful nowI loved the box and the directions and everything made out to me. The colorist was very helpful in helping with my color and did a great job on the color. The color is great and I love it. My hair though feels awful! It is greasy and frizzy and just feels coarse when it is usually soft and silky. The length of time the colour lastsI have used your products for a fair length of time now. In previous orders I have ordered a dark brown, and have been more than happy with the product. I Hate the colorDon't bother writing a detailed explanation of your hair color needs and wants. They don't read them. I explained that my hair color was not represented in the first step. Not happy with the outcomeDid not like the product. After applying and rinsing , my hair is greasy and sticky and heavy and nasty. I have washed twice and cannot get it out of my hair. Any help on fixing this would be greally appreciated as I have to go to work tomorrow.. Not for meAfter this last time using the hair dye my hair was left slimy. It was like I had applied a jar of vaseline to my hair. It took washing my hair 6 times to get most of it out. This happened to me the time before with the semi permanent as well just not as bad. After washing my hair with the shampoo and conditioner that came with my order I had to go back and rewash my hair 5 times with my own expensive shampoo. I thought they slimy dye would never wash out. I changed my order from semi permanent to permanent because the blue black dye would not last no longer then 2 washes before my hair looked brown again. Not HappyI was not happy with my last color and the 100% guarantee is that they will tell you that they sent the correct color according to what they think was right. I replied back and felt that they told me I was wrong. OK, maybe I did not describe the color I wanted correctly, but why do I provide you with a phone #. Bad custom colorI chose a medium brown and submitted two pictures in two different lights and a profile. The custom color they told me would be more flattering was a light brown. I took their professional advise, I used and processed for the full time - very meticulous about my hair coloring process. The color they advised was not right for me. Wrong base hair colorUnfortunately, you are still using a blonde base for the color. Not HAPPY!My last color turned my hair reddish and I have BROWN hair. Now I cant get the red color out. I am so upset and will never order this again. I went to a salon and told them what colors "My Colorist" mixed and they said it was wrong. I have dark brown hair and they put ash, brown and mahogany in my color and it put a 2" red stripe on the top where I would cover my roots. 1st time great, 2nd not so much.When I received my first hair dye kit, I couldn't wait to use it! The results were great, lasted long and I got many compliments. The 2nd time was not as successful; my color lasted less than 6 every other day washings, didn't notice much color change to begin with. Could have been better.I was not impressed with my most recent order. I was only looking to go a little bit lighter and received only the root touch-up so I went to a salon and asked if this was customary and they said no. If you're blonde do not use this productMy roots turned orange and my current color turned grayish blue. They told me they can't go lighter than the orange they sent me. DisappointmentI get better results from Drug Store brands. The formulation received did not cover my gray roots adequately and turned them a weird pinkish-orange color. The formula was also extremely harsh -- my hair felt like straw. It even smelled bad (strong chemical & ammonia odor) for a couple of days even after shampoo and conditioning. I was hoping to like this companyI was hoping to like this company. This was my first time trying it. The hair dye not only left my hair dry and brittle, it left my hair two toned and uneven. I have dyed my own hair for many, many years and never had a bad result. I will not be purchasing any more dye from eSalon. I was also scared to dye my hair again due to how dried out and brittle it left my hair. So that being said, I had two toned, uneven, dry hair for 6 weeks. DisappointingAlthough I followed the online instructions for what I wanted in hair color and included a photo of my current blonde hair AND followed hair coloring instructions to a "T" - my hair color was darker than it's ever been in my life. I asked for strawberry medium blonde and I now have mousy brown hair with a tinge of red at the roots if you look at it in the right light. I've shampooed it several times and after a week - it has not lightened much. VERY disappointed. Terrible colourI informed e-salon that my hair is medium brown and I ordered medium ash brown hair colour. When my product arrived it was light ash brown. I e-mailed them that they had sent me the wrong product and that I didn't want my hair to go lighter as it always goes orange. They asked mt to phone them. The girl that I spoke to, Danielle, said that because the product I had ordered had so much ash in it they'd sent me a light/medium brown. She said that the product couldn't make my hair any lighter because it doesn't contain bleach. She advised that I do a strand test first. I did a strand test first but I couldn't really tell so I decided to use the product. My hair came out lighter and orange just as I'd worried and I had to re-dye it immediately with my usual colour. Greatly disappointed.I originally ordered a lighter shade but customer service emailed me saying they thought it was too light and my hair wouldn't turn out right. So I worked with the gal over the phone and we picked a color closer to my natural dark blond. I very clearly told her my hair has red undertones if the color is warm it will turn brassy and that I needed an ash or cool tone dye. She assured me this color would work. No, no it did not. I did not like the color that you sent me, and when I applied my hair turned out darker than my natural color and the one I usually apply. eSalon chose my color without taking into account my opinion. Poor customizing colorI submitted several photos over a 3 month period of the warm blonde coloring I desired. Time after time I received ashy blond kits that left me looking washed out with my light complexion. Very disappointed, I had hoped I would find a coloring system with home delivery. Not for me....My neighbor and I both tried eSalon at the same time; once we received our order my cousin (professional beautician of 20+ yrs) applied our color for us. The initial color for both looked awesome. Purchased in Sept. my neighbor still looks awesome mine however faded in less than two weeks and my gray came back wayyyyyyyy too early. Did not get good resultsI was hopeful when I saw the two different bottles of color for the roots and ends. But when I opened the bottles the smell was so strong. I followed the directions but now my roots are a pinkish color and it did not color all my gray. The ends are darker than expected. And my hair is now very dry, before coloring with esalon my hair was healthy and shiny. I will be going back to my old standby color. Doesn't cover my grayThis formula doesn't cover my gray hairs. It turns some of them a metallic red color and others don't grab the color at all. Disappointed:-(I am not pleased with my hair and now I never want to dye my own hair again. My color was way too dark and was the same color all over even though I was supposed to do my roots a different color than my ends. Great color/Don't LastI purchased this product in September 2016. I used it October 4th. While the color was fantastic and perfect due to my colorist and not my choice, it did not last as long as I thought it would. I chose the color for my hair but because of the pictures I sent in, "My" colorist saw that the colors I chose were too dark. She not only corrected the color but sent it out as well. She was ready to send out the darker color, if needed. My only problem was that the color didn't last long enough. So close yet so farOrder arrived a week earlier than expected, which was great! Packaging was brilliant, had all that was necessary and was easy to use. Issues: it did not cover my pink strands. I picked the bleached highlights option and specifically added the information to the colourist, but my auburn colour has these pink strands still in it. This is a shame because I actually like the colour on the rest of the hair and in terms of damage it is quite reasonable, but I will probably have to apply something else to reach a more uniform colour...
