Too DarkI wanted to cover the gray root on the color that I had. I selected the correct colors. Changes were made based on a very, very, very, old photo that was still in the system. Left a lot of grayI was disappointed that it didn't cover a lot of my gray hair. It also was not the color I expected it to be. My hair didn't feel bad after so that's a plus. Ordering New ColorThe color I ordered the first time was good, and looked as I expected. However, I don't understand why I need to send a note if I want to change my color. Why can't I just go back to the color chart and make my own adjustment without "sending a note" to someone? If I could get back to the color chart and see what I ordered last, I could figure it out from there. But since this is not an option I will likely never buy this product again. ExhaustedThis was a first color so recommended process was all over roots first followed by all over color. I am 58, have arthritis, and Iive in a small apt with 2 cats so Took about 20 min to get prepared, old t shirt, old towels, space for kit etc, cats away, etc. I have long hair. Applied root color without much difficulty. Unfortunately removed gloves before the processing was finished so had to put them on again for all over. Not easy. The final step in the shower is a total mess. Color goes everywhere. Took what seemed like forever to get color out of hair and then I had to clean the bathroom! As I said I have cats and can’t risk them getting this on their paws, licking them and getting sick because I didn’t want to live with gray root. As for the color and coverage, it’s fine. Liked itI loved the color!!! But my red came through after a few weeks, and since I have a lot of hair there wasn't enough to cover my whole head thoroughly. Not what I wantedNot sure if I chose the wrong color based on bad representation pictures or what!?. I believed I had ordered light brown with a bit of mahogany. I even left directions that I did not want an unnatural color, and that I would rather have more brown than the mahogany Color. What I got was ghoulish mahogany. Straight up mahogany!! No brown undertones at all. In the sunlight it was purple! I feel I could have done better with box color. Once ordering the color, you could not look back to review your choice. Es war für mich diese Packung viel zu viel Farbe, so dass ich fast 70 % der Farbe wegschmeissen musste. Das ist rausgeworfenes Geld ! Worst ever!! Don’t waste your money $$Don’t waste your money!! Not worth it. They send you out $2.00 products that turned my hair orange 🍊 on the side of my hair where my gray grows. Not for my hairUnfortunately this color kit doesn't work for me. My hair is really fine, dry and kinky. Not using last boxI have not yet use the last box that I received earlier in September. I had noticed recently that my hair was falling out a LOT more and when I went to my stylist and had my haircut she indicated it may be the color that I’m using. I have not changed anything else! I use Professional color Protect shampoo and conditioner. I use a professional styling gel. I blow dry my hair very little. My diet has not changed in any way in the last year. It's okayI think I was still expecting it to be lighter. I normally do have highlights and I don't any more so I was hoping to get a lighter look without highlights because it's to expensive and you really just can't touch up the roots. Not for meI ordered the coloring in August, but I did not do it until a few weeks later (9/12/20) and it came out with two colors. I had lighter color on top and on the bottom was darker. I had a make an appointment to get my hair done on 9/19/20. I am sure this work for other ladies, but it was horrible on my hair. I had to wear a hat or a headband to cover. Not so good on covering the gray...I was a bit disappointed after shampooing my color application.“touch-up”, that the coverage on the grays wasn’t that great. The color itself was, I believe, good, but after leaving it on for a good 40 minutes (actually 10 minutes more than was recommended) I still saw gray strands??? OrangeI am so incredibly disappointed with this color. The root and end colors were so different that you can visually see the difference. Both the roots and ends are very orange. Be carefulBe really careful when making your 1st order. They have it set up on a month by month payment thing. So even if you don't need or want another hair dye, one is shipped to you and they take £18 out your bank to pay for it. Too darkIt's not what I was going for. I feel as tho it's too dark and just an odd blend. I did recieve a compliment,stating it was a pretty brown but I'm not convinced. I realize ordering online,only sending one picture, may be a challenge achieving a satisfying color but I'm sure its attainable. my color is ruinedI finally tried this, it took so long to receive my kit that i bought my regular kit and used it. I'm so disappointed! it suppose to be light golden brown, even i sent a picture of my hair color, now my hair it's a lot darker, nothing to do with the color i use to wear and not even covered my grays. eSalon's New FormulaI am reviewing mostly to see if anyone else is struggling with their hair color since eSalon's recent changes to their formula. My next order will be my 3rd try at readjusting my color. Previously my color had golden mixed in and it was the equivalent of a nice highlighted look. But after the formula change, my first color was very dull with little golden. So it was adjusted. Now it is too much golden which has gotten even lighter within a few days of coloring my roots. I'm am hoping my 3rd request to return to my original color will even out all of the gold. I have definitely noticed a change in the coloring product, both consistency and a strong bleach like odor which is unpleasant. I previously would have rated eSalon with 5 stars and I'm hoping my communications with the colorist can resolve this soon. Not what I wantedI didn’t get what I asked for. I think I was clear about my goals, however, I was very disappointed with the outcome after using your product. I wanted red. Red not pink - Not pinkish red. Just red, like natural red color that actually grows out of a person’s head. What I got was brown. Now that it’s almost time to color again, it’s faded off to something I can stand. Brown with some golden highlights. I can’t recommend your product or services because I emailed directly with a stylist, went with her recommendations and was still disappointed in the end. God but expensiveThe gray coverage is good, not sure if it’s any better than what I can buy at the store. Most of us used a coupon and got the 1st order for $10 then it jumps up to $29 including $5.95 for shipping. I do not enjoy coloring my own hair so for that price it’s not worth it. Horrible shade of brown that looks hideous with my skintoneI requested a medium bling and sent two photos. The color that arrived was called dark blonde but was truly a mousy Orange 🍊 brown that doesn’t match my ski tone in any way. This product is not anywhere near the product advertised. I feel conned and ugly with this color. I’ve now spent another $40 to get a better product to remove this color. Even the toner as a bust. Will not use again.I used my order during COVID. It did not cover my gray well and after a few days it was turning orange fast. I called and they said that you need to use it within 6 months (it was 8 months). And nothing more. No offer to help with my hair. No offer to discount a new order. I was not told nor saw an "expiration date" on the product. Will not use again. Glad my salon opened again. Ce n’est pas la bonne couleur...Coloration relativement simple à appliquer avec le bol et le pinceau. Attention toutefois à la forte odeur d’ammoniac qui peut déranger lors de l’application de la couleur. Very Disappointed....I sent in careful instructions and several photos of my hair to the colorist only to get a color that turned my hair bright red/orange after I specifically said that I did not want ANY red to my hair color. I was offered a new color free of charge but that color formula appears to be hardly changed and I will not put any more colors on my hair that will further turn it red. UghI put this on my daughter because it wouldn't work for me and it turned her previous very beautiful virgin blonde hair ORANGE! Grays showing alreadyAfter the first wash, the color on my grays was coming out, a few more washes it's only gotten worse. Box dye from the drug store did a better job on my grays than the specially formulated for me color. Not happy nowI received my new color opened it up and seriously some of the color had spilled out the developer had a strong scent of I went ahead and colored my hair I loved the results -no grays or reddish highlights my husband even loved the results and new color I washed hair a week later the color started fading here it is three weeks later a little gray and red highlights I am not happy I hate venting because I feel bad afterwards husband will vouch about the color sorry for bad review 0 de 0 personas encontraron este comentario útil. ¿Y tú? |

Something was offFirst off, it took over 2 weeks to reach me. When I added the water as directed little flakes came out of the bottle. I figured I either didn't shake it properly or the developer was old. Regardless, I got in the shower and massaged the remnants into my scalp. Some dye dripped down onto my face but since my hands were busy with my scalp I didn't wipe it immediately. After the shower, after dressing and drying my hair, my face starts to hurt and turn red. The location of the redness is coincidently where the dye dripped. I thought dryness might be the issue but sadly it seems to be a chemical burn.
