Not so greatI got this adjustment order and i still saw some light brassiness and some of the grays were not covered completely. The instructions said to leave it on for 40mins, and i left it for 50 mins just in case. Hate itI originally had blond hair and i told the salon specialists that my hair has alot of red in it when i color it at first i dont like it orange!! I ordered a pearl blonde and the picture was close to my color...but the color i got was an orange color! Good colorI like the color, however can’t give it all 5 stars as it does not always get those stubborn grays in front of hairline in time allotted in the instructions. 2 different colours?Finally got round to doing my colour - not quite what I was expecting and not what I ordered (medium blonde.) The roots are now strawberry blonde and the ends are blue/green. I wanted to go slightly lighter than my natural dark blonde, which was shiny and healthy looking. I've now got dull khaki ends and dull strawberry roots. It looks awful and as I don't wish to make my hair any drier, I've go to wait until it fades. Luckily my hair is long so I can put it up and hide the really nasty bits. CouleurJe vous ai envoyé le résultat de ma couleur .. je suis à moitié satisfaite car pour les longueurs j ai dilué la coloration avec de l eau puis appliqué très peu de tps en comparaison des racines. Du coup la couleur des longueurs n’est pas belle et ma fille me dit qu il y a des reflets verts kaki ... et l ensemble n’est pas très “chaud”. J ai vu ds le détail qu’il y a un petit pourcentage de “cendré”. Que me conseillez vous ? Déjà sur les 2 photos il y a une différence de ton - je prefere la 1ere photo (même si les 2 photos ont été prise à 3’ d’intervalle. DissatisfiedThe color was okay, honestly not much different than I had been using before. This made my scalp sensitive and itchy for a few days and it didn't really cover many of my grays! So very disappointed and dissatisfied. I had many high hopes especially when your advertisement was so selling about how it covers stubborn grays and the color was specified to my individual liking etc. Not very impressed with the results at all. It wasn't the worst, but wasn't spectacular either. I dyed my hair on 10/31/20 and my grays (the ones that were covered) were already surfacing by the following week! And the grays that were covered were noticeably lighter than the rest of my hair. I don't have a significant amount of grays, however it's enough to see when they grow out. I sold your product to my sister as well (prior to me using my at that time), she had the same results, Itching scalp and grays not completely covered and others surfacing within a week. Wish I could get my money back that I paid for this product because I am honestly very unhappy with the results and the quality I have received from using your product. Thank you! Ruined my hairWords can't describe how upset I am with my last order... I asked for an adjustment of colour from my last order because the roots were too warm and the ends didn't take any colour at all. I applied my colour yesterday and I noticed a bird's nest kind of halo of baby hairs around my roots today. Not only that but my hair feels like jelly, it stretches and breaks like rubber. Not even after a full head bleach my hair was in this bad of a condition. On top of that, my roots are a hot cheeto colour. So right now, my hair which I spent years growing out is snapping off, it's too weak to take any more treatment so I'm stuck with this terrible orange colour in my roots and it just looks terrible. Greys not coveredI am extremely dissatisfied with this purchase, as the hair color didn’t cover my grey hair. I had to use a brass root cover from the first week! I followed the instructions carefully and I really don’t think that something went wrong at my end. Still Brassy, red and too darkI have ordered dark blonde 3 times, Each time I requested color adjustments. No Luck! The color has been too dark and too brassy. 2 starsI dyed my hair twice the first time I choose demi-permanent and it was fun but temporary, as said in the description. I dyed my hair again in the same color in permanent and it faded quicker than the demi-permanent. Left my hair extremely dryMy roots are darker than my ends, so I was hoping this would help even it out by darkening my ends but after I completed the process I immediately noticed my roots were still darker which was disappointing. Not quite rightThis color never took. The color smelled differently and was watery. I’m thinking either they changed a product or I got a bad batch. The color is nice but OMG the smell made me sickI did like the color but I have never smelled a more potent hair dye smell. It made my eye water the entire time, making it difficult to apply my color. At one point my nose was burning as well. Color was not lightened as stated in emailI put in request to change my current color as I wish to go lighter. The email response was Esalon would lighten my current as much as possible and recommended a color lightening set along with my color. I added the lightening set and continued to check the color change on my regular color. Unfortunately until after it shipped was I able to see the adjustments and nothing was adjusted. Just okI like this concept of personalized color and all the little tools a lot but this stuff dried my hair out very badly, there wasnt enough product (i do have a lot of hair) and the color faded quickly. I bought the tint rinse also to "boost" the color every now and then and noticed no difference. I take very good care of my hair, ie: no damaging products, only use cool water to wash, dont heat style, dont use a towel, etc. And still was less than impressed. Thinning HairMy hair was thinning after several uses of this product. I stopped it for over 6 months and my hair is growing back. Color was much darker/customer service terribleI bought my first color in July and it came ridiculously dark. Darker than my original color (it was supposed to be a bit lighter and redder). Customer service was slightly helpful at first, though the emails were full of misspelled words which raised alarm bells. I was told to keep washing my hair until it's out then we can re-color. That was in June. It's November. It's faded some but nowhere near out. I've been using Dawn at times and always a clarifying shampoo at least twice a week. I've emailed customer service because I'm ready to just dye something over it, and I would like advice on colors. Ten days an no reply, despite a follow up. Product is expensiveThe color, first off, is great. Very solid quality and considerable to salons. Disappointed with the colour changeDear All, since quite some time I am disappointed with my colour. As aging the ordered colour is too dark and therefore it makes me look much older. Texting with my colourist has not been very helpfull. I stuck with the colour "dark brown 20 gold" sometimes like that, sometimes with the remark "lighter". The change is hardly to see.. When I explained in texting..., that the colour is too dark, I get the respond : other is not possible. Why? I dont understand that. You marketing with the image you would mix the colour everytime individually (btw: who buys that?) nevertheless it is not possible to adopt my colour to my needs. Here is what I need: an overview of brown colours possible! please send it to me or put it up on your page. Are you only offering dark brown? no so please give me some options to choose. I had ( 2019?) received once the proper colour, but the order history doesn ´t show. ~The Silver SlayerI’ve never heard of eSalon before my dear friend heard me complaining that my silver strands that now highlight my hair, would not hold over the counter color. She told me to try this product. She assured me that I would love it. My friend was right. eSalon was able to hide that silver that was glistening in my hair. The only complaint that I have with the product was it was a wee bit dark for my liking. That being said, I am certain it was due to me choosing the wrong hair coloring initially. I sent in a new photo of myself from the summer. I do hope that the hair specialist can match the color of my summer hair better than I could choose for myself. Light brown from esalon is a dark-black colorFor my initial order I selected a dark brown color with ash tone. When I applied it to my colored hair which at that time was a medium-light brown color, my hair turn out black. I contacted my colorist and she suggested to just let it fall out with the washes or to apply a hair color remover. I applied the color remover as I hated how the black color looked on me. Once the black color was out, I contacted my colorist to get a lighter brown color. I applied the light brown to my hair and to my surprise it was another black color. Now my hair is dry and black. I hate it so much, but I am not going to put it through another color remover treatment. I am not sure if esalon knows what a light brown color looks like or if the colorist just didn’t give me the right color. Color DifferenceFor some reason the result I achieved from the second order was different from the first order although I had not requested any changes to the formula. I loved the first order color but did not like the second order. The second order did not even cover the gray as well as the first order. I don't know what happened - maybe my hair is going through some hormonal issue. But, I want to say again that I loved the lush dark brown result I received from the first order. Color didn't grab...I followed all instructions carefully. The color was applied evenly and thoroughly. However, my white hairs really didn't pick up the color like I would have expected. Completely wrong product from what I requestedI have requested a coloring product in the bleaching section of the initial consultation. I have asked to go from very dark blonde to a very pale beige Scandinavian blonde. I specifically said I don not want any color with red and yellow tones to it. Before sending out the product I’ve received an email that different product was being sent to me that will suit me better. Once the product was received I’ve noticed that no bleach or lightening agent was included and that the developer was only 15 %. Even 20 % developer never worked in the past. This was on Friday midday I’ve colored my hair to a horrible orange result. I was justifiably upset and have been trying to contact the company continuously since. Nothing...So I colored my hair, followed the instructions to the letter. It looked exactly the same. The only difference was it felt a bit more dry. Now a week later and I have half an inch of gray showing so what little bit may have stuck washed out in one wash. I only wash weekly and with color safe products. The tinted shampoo did more in three minutes than the entire color process and added a slight red tint. Didn't cover my graysI loved the packaging and all the supplies it came with so I had high hopes. I have grays that are silver and shiny so hard to cover. Update: Nov 2020- still dissatisfiedUpdate, Nov 2020 - I am still dissatisfied after multiple color corrections... too dark, too red, too brassy and now I’m too tired to keep trying. Customer service has been responsive but this isn’t great if you don’t want brassy orange tone hues. Aug 2020 I remain disappointed in the color provided because after multiple attempts to request red removal it still isn’t right. I gave this two stars because it’s an easy process and the color does saturate well. Horribly disappointedThey basically sent me a much less flattering version of the shade I already have. I said I wanted to go lighter, to my younger shade of blonde or even a light auburn. Instead, I got a dull, plain, ugly blonde that stripped the natural highlights and shine I at least had before starting. The formula has oviously changedI have used and loved this product for the last 7 months. Suddenly though it has changed, my last couple of shipments the product is definitely not the same, it is no different than a box brand. The ammonia is much much stronger and burns my scalp, the color does not last and feels gummy on my scalp even after washed.
