Not a conditioning hair colorI do not like the fact that I washed my hair twice and applied the conditioner provided. It still stained my towel, and that was towel #2 that had hair color stains on. Additionally, it was very drying and I did not like the quality of my hair post color. Flat colour and just as messy as any other home colour.If you think there is anything special about this then you will be disappointed. The colour is flat - nothing like any of the images around the site. It's as messy to do as any home colour. It costs twice as much and they want you to keep buying so keep your details online so you can't just forget about it as it'll turn up and you'll have paid - so beware of that and cancel between orders so you don't get caught out. Being a licensed hairdresser I thought I would see what this was all aboutThe first problem I noticed choosing your natural hair color. The majority of the time the customer does not no their natural hair color. When selecting your color what you believe to be dark light red purple ect. May not be the same to the color specialist mixing your color that is why several times the color ends up too dark. It should be pointed out that if you have colored your hair this will not work if you want to lighten your hair you cannot use hair color to lighten pre colored hair that is why the new growth turns out one color and the ends are the same as they were previously. They should also inform people with long hair that they will need to purchase more than one bottle because it will not be enough to color all their hair. I purchased my color the directions given to put on my new growth or fine but whenever I pull color through the ends I do not use a 20-volume developer that damages your hair you only need to deposit color they should provide a lower volume developer to refresh your color on the ends. They should explain for people with gray hair that want good coverage around their hairline they should apply to the hairline completely and thoroughly first then proceed with the application on the rest of the hair. Not impressed with the shampoo and conditioner provided would recommend using what you know works well with your hair. Overall this is an average product not much different than purchasing your color at the drugstore. Downfall to this you don't get a photo of what the color looks like or a color swatch that you would be able to see in a hair salon. Not great just ok and was runny!Thought I would try this after reading online reviews, even though they were mixed. Color was runny, was too dark and left my hair feeling gummy and tacky! It stained my hairline to the point of looking fake, despite having the barrier cream and stain remover cloth, but still left me with hot roots and uneven coverage on regrowth for gray coverage in other spots. It didn't lighten my hair one bit!I'm naturally medium/light blonde and I wanted to keep my sun kissed summer color but this did not even lighten my hair at all and darkened it darker than my natural color. I am completely dissatisfied. The purple tone adjuster didn't take out any brassiness or gold tones either. I guess this is not for me. I'd like a refund, I'm that upset. Not to mention my second order came completely smashed with the bottle contents leaking all over the inside of the box. I'm mortified that I have to walk around for 3 weeks until I can do something about it. I guess this service isn't for blondes. Increasingly disappointed with it day by dayAt first, I thought my color looked good, though overall, it was darker than I wanted. I had strawberry blond with medium brown roots and asked to match the roots and go a bit more copper, but what I got was more of a dark reddish brown, not as bright as I wanted. In the warm overhead lighting of the house, it looked pretty good, so I filled out the survey saying I was satisfied. But then, I was outside in daylight and found myself in front of a mirror where I saw for the first time that my roots were still significantly darker than my hair. In that lighting, it was very noticeable. That really bummed me out. When I mixed the color with the developer I was dubious about how brown the roots color looked. I couldn't see how that color would get my roots light enough to match, and now I know my instincts were right. The more I look at my mismatched roots and ends and the darker color overall, the less I like it. And in daylight, without the warmth of incandescent lighting, the overall color is quite dark. Not as expectedI have been dying my hair for years and this is the first product that ever caused issues on my scalp. There was no smell which was important but it did not cover all my greys like I feel it should have. I used the shampoo and conditioner but my hair felt extremely dry after one day. Really wanted to love this siteThis site sounded amazing, until I colored my hair :( It came out NOTHING like I had ordered. I filled out the questionnaire, mentioned I had recently colored my hair (no roots yet), my order came with a bottle for roots I didn't have. Awful...harsh....made hair brittle ...caused breakageTerrible product it is harsh, dried-out hair, and causes breakage. After using the product my hair was so damaged. Don't use this on your hair! I used this over a month ago and am now struggling with getting my hair back into healthy shape. It's try, lacks luster and shine and looks awful. I followed the directions exactly. In addition, it was missing product it says it comes with a conditioner, but that was never in there. My first shipment arrived and the color bottle was leaking all over my doorstep. It was a mess. I will say, that the customer service was wonderful! I immediately called them, and they immediately send out a replacement shipment. They were polite and very accommodating. My interaction with the customer service team was Top Notch. That is the only good thing I have to say about eSalon. The product itself is one that I would never recommend anyone try. My hair is a ruined mess and it is going to take me a long time to get it back to its once healthy, lustrous , shiny condition. Basically, all I can do is wait till the damaged hair grows out. 1 order does not provide enough product for long hair. My hair is a little longer than shoulder length and there was not enough product to adequately cover the amount of hair I had. I needed two orders in order to adequately cover the amount of hair I have. The product is liquid color as opposed to a cream color . It's basically just like what you would buy in the grocery store, only with more steps and with harsher chemicals. my case this was a double process. You administer 1 series of color and then another series of color. It's time consuming and forces you to process your hair with these awful chemicals twice. I'm not a beautician. I'm not in the beauty business. I don't have any connection with any hair color Product Company. I'm just a regular consumer who thought I'd give this innovative product a try. Turned my hair cherry chocolateI just tried your product and was very excited for positive results. My color before dying my hair today was a caramel brown with blond high lights and medium brown roots. My goal as specified was to return my hair to it's natural color, a golden medium brown. The hair dye turned my hair a deep maroon brown with crimson highlights. It definitely does not look natural and it is excessively red. Not a Red HeadEveryone I dealt with was polite and seemed to want to be accommodating, however, I feel that I was not truly listened to concerning my desired color. I stressed with detailed info and pictures that my experience with coloring my hair is undesired red tones. I was assured that a color could be designed for me that would eliminate this outcome. I had 4 tries of using this product and two adjustments, I provided detailed feedback and included pictures of my hair after using this product. All 4 times my hair color came out red. Sometimes the red was darker but still very red. I also was discouraged with the grey coverage. I started this process in August 2016 it is now January 2017. Hair color didn't change like I wanted it toWhen I sent in photos and changes for my hair color, I thought there would actually be a change in what my color would look like once I finished coloring. The color basically looked the same as last time I colored it with eSalon. I wanted it darker and redder. The results turned out fine for the color it is - a nice brown. Color is okLike the box presentation the product was sent in. The color was ok. I requested beige blond. No red tones or yellow tones. However, I had them.. Made my hair very dry.. Had to apply a deep conditioner.. If I compair my regular hair color to this . Mine was better and more convient. Color didn't stickSo I love everything about this service -the user-friendliness, the quick delivery, the price, the packaging, even the shampoo and conditioner for after-coloring- but the color I applied didn't take anywhere but my roots, so now I have reddish/copper roots and dark brown hair, which is a bit funky looking.
