not as good as beforeI don't know if the formulation changed, but the texture of my last hair color product seemed "drier" than it used to be, it didn't spread as easily in my hair. I like that it doesn't leak everywhere, but the consistency seemed different this time. I was also disappointed with the color itself. I specifically requested no red, and to neutralize the red, but my brown is definitely reddish. Product was openI did not get the chance to do my hair until this past weekend - Feb. 5. When I broke the seal on the box, the stuff in the squeeze bottle had leaked out because the lid was not tight. I took pictures if you care to see them. Color is great, but damaged hair.I love the color and have used it three times now. I have used the same hair products for years, but noticed my hair has become tangled and difficult to brush since using the E salon product. When getting my hair cut it was pointed out that all of elasticity is gone from my hair from the color product. Shortest coverage for grays...ever!Okay, I've tried my custom color - it is a great match and a nice color, which is what makes it even more disappointing - three times now. I apply as prescribed to cover my grays - and I'm 99% sure this is not user error - been doing this for a lot of years now. Each time, by the second day - without washing, mind you - my grays are showing around the edges. I don't know what might cause this, but it is frustrating to go from perfect coverage one day to not so perfect the next. It goes downhill from there. Dull colorI tried several times to get my color right but, it never changed. I wanted a nice chocolate with a hint of some red. I really like a mahogany color. It came out drab. I also ordered the gloss and all that was, was another color with 20 volume developer. my hair is completely dried out from it. This is my last order from e-salon. The second time i left longer then the instructions thinking the color would last longer (because i have thick hair) and it faded within a month. Heavy wax residue- DisappointedI was very excited to try out esalon as I have seen this advertised in multiple places and it is very affordable. I was very pleased with the specialized instructions and specialized label on my hair dye bottles. Although I was extremely disappointed with the hair dye. I got permanent hair dye and It would not wash out of my hair and left massive amounts of wax in my long hair. My hair wouldn't even dry completely and was very sticky and waxy. I always dye my hair and have never had this happened until now. I will not be buying again. My hair looks horrible...ugh!When I opened the box I was really impressed. Everything was great till I started to dry and I could see the color. My roots are a washed out red and the rest of my hair didn't change at all. I was very upset. I followed the directions and had a friend that was a cosmetologist apply the color. Poor poor company/ overall so unorganized and bad CSThis company won't last, shipped order in 2 days, but didn't not arrive until 10 days later, too late had to go else for coloring.The accessory dept does not coordinate with the coloring dept, wanted to add something to my order for color before it shipped, they said the order number doesn't exist, so I spoke with CS rep, she told me the it's too area and do not coordinate together, one dept does not work with the other. hen why do you have that option to add to an order on uur website??? Nothing!!!I expected a salon experience in getting the color I wanted but really I could have bought a drugstore box to get the same result... nothing happened. My hair color is black and guess what... still black. Im not really surprised; I know bleaching is usually required but I hoped this would be different. This time the product made my hair feel and look different.My hair felt very different and the I did not like the end result. Did not cover grey roots correctlyFollowed the instructions explicitly. Left the color on roots around face and down part line the longest. The color in those areas turned brassy after 2 washings. Can tell they are lighter than rest of hair. Also my hair did not stay soft and shiny after 4th washing... Strawberry blondeI was looking to lighten my original hair colour and cover up a few grey hairs. I didn't expect my hair to look strawberry blonde bout dark blonde especially after getting a call from my colourist asking if I was looking to go strawberry blonde as my original choice in her opinion would turn it that colour 😩 So when l took her advice and went with dark blonde imagine my surprise when hey presto l get strawberry blonde 😂 This is also my first experience of dying my hair. A little more red than expectedI wanted a purple highlight, but it turned out red. Great color, but damaged my hairI used esalon for the first time last month and was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was. The color arrived at my door with thorough instructions and everything but the gloves! I had a friend help apply the color and loved it. I darkened my hair from a mousey brown to a deep brown with violet undertones, and the color looks great. However, while marked Demi-permanent, I believe it was permanent color. My hair is so damaged from this product, and when I went to my hair dresser to liven it up again, she said a Demi-permanent would have begun to fade already, while my color is still very pigmented. Not good for long or graying hair.. Not Salon qualityThe color seemed great at first but it didn't last long and seemed to wash out and dull in some areas and not others.. It also didn't cover all of my grays and the he ones it did were completely gray again from roots to tips with in 2 weeks of coloring each time.. Also never seemed to have enough color to completely cover my hair because of the length and thickness. I was told I would have 2 bottles per shipment and complete 100% guaranteed gray coverage. This product may be good for average length and non grayibg hair but it did not live up to the promises told to me or the hype... The only time I had multi deminsions and shine was when it was fading in several areas and I used BioSilk on it.. Also the shampoo that you offer isn't very good for extended use and for the size of the bottle not a great deal.. I found Nexxus of that's 4 times the amount for the same price or less and is so much better for my hair.. I will say that your customer setvice is 5 stars! When your company charged me and shipped a order to my old address I called and you guys immediately refunded me and promptly changed my address in your system. I had already changed it online but apparently it didn't save or get transferred to the shipping department but the lady I spoke to was more than friendly and helpful.. I've never had a nicer and smoother interact from CS from online sales... keep that up and maybe inprove your product some and you've got a goldmine!! WASTE OF $$$ An I feel like I was suckeredthis was the most disgusting experience ever!!!1 the color stuck to my hair like glue and would absolutely not rinse out. I ended up have to use shampoo several times in order to be presentable. It looked like I had stuck my head in a vat of motor oil. gross... so I am sure that washing it lead to the color not staying but for about two weeks, if that... Really UndecidedI put my hair color on, it was supposed to be auburn, it smelled great. It looked like it was going to be a great burgundy color. After letting it set for the time specified, I started to wash it out. My hair came out worse than usual, and it really scared me. Also, as I washed my hair, my hair started to feel really stiff, not soft like usual. I put the shampoo on, and then the conditioner. At this point, I started to worry that my hair was burned. After the conditioner, it felt a little better, but not normal, not even like with other hair color. I got out of the shower, and when I looked in the mirror, I couldn't even see much of a color change. My roots were still way darker than the rest of my hair. There wasn't much red in my hair at all. This particular color not the best for graysI really wanted to ADD color to cover gray and match my roots, but the particular color used this time (my darkest for all-over color in past) lightened the non-grays. Didnt see any notice in my hair color change.The directions sent didnt make to much sense to me but I followed them anyway. The directions told me to only die my roots not the rest of my hair. Which my natural color roots where not even 1/4" showing. Then add the rest of the color remaining the bottle to the rest of my hair in the shower for one minute. Which when I did this step I was suppose to get a rich foam lather? This did not happen. The only color change was to the very top of my head at my roots. The rest of my underlying roots did not change at all. Nor did the rest of my hair. My hair looked exactly the same has I started. New customerI was a little hesitant to purchase the product due to the cost but I thought I would try it anyway hoping that it would provide the long term effects that I wanted. I used the product on January 18, 2017. It is now 12 days later and my grays are already coming through around my hairline and in my part. The products that I used from the drugstore usually lasted at least 3 weeks before starting to show through. Not satisfiedI saw the ad in facebook and it said it will come with the comb applicator which was not included. Followed instructions,15 minutes on roots and 10 minutes on ends. The gray hair on my temples was still gray,top part of my hair was still medium brown and the ends were the only one that got darker. Dried my hair out horriblyColor was nice and even as a demi-permanent did a good job covering grey. Unfortunately found it to be extremely drying. Great customer service. Arrived on time.Color is close to what I am looking for but it is rather flat and one dimensional. Will never buy this againI am in my late thirties and have been coloring my hair for many years I have never had a color leave my hair feeling so rough and Like Straw than I did with this product. I had to wash my hair and condition it 3 more times with salon shampoo and conditioner after using their shampoo and conditioner and it still does not feel nice. The color is blotchy. My hair is not shiny and feeling smooth and silky lIke it usually feels after I have colored it. will not recommend will not be buying in. Gummy residueI've heard great things about esalon, but it didn't work with my hair. It left this gummy waxy texture that is impossible to get out. I've washed three times now yet it is still in there from the scalp down and I keep pulling it out.
