Turned my roots orange a second timeWhen I signed up I downloaded a picture and told them my roots always turn orange with any processing and the formula needs to be adjusted for that. First coloring, orange roots. Reformulation, still orange roots. I was doing as better job coloring myself from Sally's I did not have orange roots. I tried this service for the convenience of not having to mix my own color but it almost ruined my hair. Back to Sally's. Hair color/coverageI like the color of my hair after dying, however, I don't like how my grey hair along my part is brassy/orange. It also doesn't cover my grey for more than 1- 1/2 weeks definitely no more than 2. But I do like the overall color. This has been the best of all of my changes, but still not flawless. Never received orderThe tracking area said it was delivered April 20, 2017 to my mailbox - but I don't even have a mailbox! I have a slot in the door. It was not left on my porch or in my screen door. I am very disappointed as I really wanted to try this product out. Doesn't lastI actually loved the color when it was first done, even though it was a lot lighter on the grey than everywhere else. But it has been less than two weeks since I did this and the grey is already showing through the color. It actually looks like the color is washing out, it is much lighter and duller already. Hair texture when using this productOverall I am dissatisfied with the texture of my hair after I use the permanent hair color. My hair feels like hay. I have never experienced this texture with a professional color or color from a box. I was satisfied with the longevity of the color in regards to keeping my grays covered on my first color but this time, my second time, at about 5 weeks I started noticing the grays showing through. Great quality but color didn't match. Needed a darker Brown.Color was too light for my roots, the picture of the model with brunette with highlights is very close to my color. Didn't work for meThe delivery and application process went great. However the medium blonde pearl was too gold for me. After a few weeks, my hair became brassy, and despite using the shampoo and conditioner I purchased, my hair became dry and brittle, though I kept washing to a minimum. Color okay; formula - not so muchWhile the color is a bit darker than I expected, I like the gray coverage and the overall tone. However, the fumes from the product when I started to rinse were awful! My eyes and throat burned and I began hyperventilating. I had to open up the bathroom to fresh air. color did not last , cheaper to buy color in stores & might just as well.color faded fast and grey showed. cheaper to buy in stores if it does not hold color longer. Also that bottle of fluid to put on balding spots twice daily...what a beast to try to use. Really who designed that needs a different job. Beautiful packaging but wrong colorI did a strand test before dyeing my whole head, and I'm glad I did because the color was vastly different than it appeared in the swatch when I was took the survey online. I ordered the light brown with copper colden tones, but it turned out as a very dark brown with no golden or copper undertones. Awful experienceI was so excited to try this service and I am so upset right now I don't know why I even tried. I ordered a cool blonde tone and my hair is freaking orange! I had to rinse my hair for 45 minutes and shampoo it 4 times to get the thick cakey feeling out of my hair. This home color wasn't for meI was very excited to try a custom hair color coz I wana get the color that goes well for me but I was very disapointed when I tried it. The smell of the color is very strong and made my allergy worse. The texture is sticky and doesn't wash off my hair even after two shampoos. My grays started to show up after one week or less which was so inexpected though. I also had lots of pimples on my scalp since I started coloring my hair with E salon color. BadProduct received in good time all looking great quality, so initially impressed.. Followed instructions to the letter.. My hair has been left like someone has tipped a chip pan over my head, repeatedly wash has done nothing to remove the oil slick that is now my hair.. 1st time userThe product arrived well packaged and clear instructions, in my case I was advised to colour sections at the roots and after the recommended time use remainder whilst showering to work through ends for only a minute or so. I found it was a lot of mixture left over once roots were treated and whilst I used it as advised to work through rest of hair it was probably more than needed. Doesn't work on grey hair.My hair is premature grey and I have colored it for 20+ years. I finally let it grow out but it it made me look older than I feel. I ordered a red copper shade. It looks great on the ends that were still colored red. I left the color for 40 minutes on the silver and looked good till I washed my hair. DeceivingI opened my credit card statement and was surprised when I saw the second the charge from esalon. When I purchased the first time, it was not clear that they will delivered every mont automatically and automatically charged you for it. I just remembered answering the question that I color my hair every 3 weeks. I think that is very deceiving to the customer.. Not what I wanted.The mixture was gray and didn't change my color or cover my gray. I wanted a light blonde color and only got a few places where my own color was lightened. The white areas of my hair are still very white. It did however soften my hair which was a pleasant surprise. After just reading reviewsI thought I was doing something wrong but other people are saying that their hair felt sticky. I washed it with all the shampoo enclosed and still couldn't dry it. Not as good as advertised.I tried to follow the directions as closely as possible. It wasn't as easy as they made it sound. Coloring in sections wouldn't be my first choice of application. Would have been better if they instructed to put it on all at once and work it through with the hands. It covered my gray well at first, but faded out of the gray strands pretty quickly. Color doesn't lastI purchased this about a month ago. At first I loved it the color was awesome, looked natural and didn't smell bad while we put it on. But the color faded away rapidly, even when using color safe shampoo and the recommended conditioner. Within 3 weeks it was gone from my hair. I don't wash my hair every day, I do condition it however, and it was the conditioner that I got with my color. No 100% guarantee! Buyer bewareI placed my order and provided a picture of my hair. The color arrived and I tried to apply as directed, however, there was not enough product to fully cover my hair. After the application was done and my hair was dry, the color was not what I ordered. I contacted the company and they apologized and provided me with a credit for a free order. When I tried to place my order to receive the color i had originally wanted, I was told I could not get enough color to fully treat my hair due to the length. The credit only covered the roots and one bottle of color. The only time I could receive the second bottle needed to color my hair at no additional cost was during my initial order. It would now cost me $10 more to get enough product to color my hair. That seems ridiculous to me. First, I provided a picture of my hair length on my first order. I was unaware I would need additional product at that time since it was my first time. I should have been told I needed more product then. Second, the color provided was incorrect, this was not an error made by me. I was sent the wrong color. Why do I need to pay more money to get it corrected. Shouldn't this be considered my initial order? - No refund was offered. I let them know I would not pay any additional money. My only option then was to cancel my order. Disgusted!Excruciatingly disappointed! Thankfully I realized my roots were going to be much darker than my last coloring. I was able to even out the color by adding shampoo to my remaining color and applying it after 10 minutes of process time! I'm at least 5 shades darker than where I had been with no red as was my preference. My hair isn't in any better condition then when using Preference brand products. Decent Product, Poor Color SelectionI liked the products but even after speaking with them I still cannot understand what the problem is. If I tell you I've been coloring it light blonde then give me a light blonde. Not light brown. If it is a difference between highlighting and regular color then tell me which one I need. If you don't have the capability them tell me. I can walk into my stylists shop and say blonde and I come out blonde. This is advertised as having the range of colors then refuse to make more than a 2 shade difference in color. I'll just go back to paying my stylist. At least then I know what the color will be. So, as long as you aren't trying to change you hair by only 2 shades, not a bad service. Not as expectedI was promised natural golden brown. My hair is dark brown after using their custom, formulated color. I emailed asking for a refund and a replacement and was told I should adjust my color settings on the site. I went to the site to cancel my membership and learned that they do offer refunds and replacement if you're dissatisfied, unless you're me. Great Gray Coverage But.....I love how well it covered my gray. I love how soft my hair is after coloring.
