Despite Specific Information on my hair color turned out redI made a point of being very clear that my hair pulled red at the slightest bit of warmth added to hair color. Despite this information and asking for an Ash my hair turned orange/red after coloring. I plan to ask for a full refund. I will have to spend double what I would have at my salon to have a corrective color done to fix this mistake. The whole point was to avoid spending tons of cash at the salon. Has the formula changed?I just colored my roots last night and after 2 thorough shampoos, my hair is a greasy mess. I followed all instructions and rubbed the color so that it would rinse out easier. The formula, after being mixed, seemed oilier than the past formulations. I like how the color turned out but am wondering if the formulation changed somehow? My hair is very curly and normally dry, but it looks like I poured olive oil all over my head. GreasyI read the reviews stating that this product is greasy but tried it anyway. It burned my eyes and nose even in ventilation. My hair now has a film and is gross. DissappiontedI was so excited to receive this box in the mail, and when it arrived I was elated to start! Unfortunately I had to wait a few days before I could dye it. I finally got to it last night and I followed all of the instructions to a T. I was so excited to see the final color of my hair finally back to brown, but dark brown this time. I eagerly got through the dying process and rinsed everything out exactly the way the instructions said to do it. I started to blow dry my hair..... It's purple. Literally purple. The packaging and product seems to be cheaply made nowThe packaging and product seems to be cheaply made now. I've been using you guys for awhile now, and noticed that my last order in May was different. The packaging is different and looks cheap. In the color comes a stain shield vaseline. This was different this time and didn't work, I had color stained on my face and forehead and have never experienced that with you guys before. Also, I felt like the color came out different even though I have been using the same color many times in a row on my roots only. The amount of product you get also decreased, especially with the shampoo and conditioner. If you were trying to save money, it shows, and not in a good way. Overall, I delayed reordering because of how the experience changed. DisappointingMy hair stylist was out of town and I saw all these positive reviews about ESalon...so decided to give it a try. Ok...so my color arrived with one bottle staining the bottle and packaging...for me not a big deal...I had to use the hair color in an emergency where I had to attend the funeral of a close family member... turned my hair black...again for me not such a big deal...I took a chance with ESalon....the 1 star rating is that I emailed ESalon and told them what happened...the response I got was how it drops the color in and there is no way to lift it but hey you can have a discount for your next purchase...HUGE DEAL FOR ME...Is this how you treat your customers... aaaaannnnnd puhleaaaaase don’t insult my intelligence, I’ve been having my hair colored for years...when my hair stylist came back he had to bleach out/highlight my hair then drop the mahagony on top to get the deep mahogany color again....so much for your customer service that is why I haven’t and will never use ESalon....I would rather try a drugstore brand for an emergency’s....sooooo buyers beware... 0 de 0 personas encontraron este comentario útil. ¿Y tú? |

New Packaging FailI have been using the salon color system for years now, great color and easy to use, This is the first time that I’ve had an issue. The bottle nozzle was tiny so you had squeeze harder than normal and it sprayed weird. So I went with the brush method and dumped from bottle to bowl. No gray coverage and no options to improve gray coverageI was really happy with my previous orders and gray coverage until the last order that didn't do a good job. My grays were died but they started coming out faster than my hair would grow (every time I took a shower the dye came off per say). I called to ask if there was gray coverage in my formula or if they could improve it and the only option I received was to make my formula darker. I do not want my hair to be any darker as the current formula is already darker than my natural hair color. So disappointed that I actually have no options to fix this and keep my natural hair color. I guess I have to go back to the salon since this company is no longer competent in my case. I say this because to my surprise the color expert I spoke to suggested to go to a salon to get better results. Can you believe this? Don't know how to respond to the message below. I did TRY to work with one your Color Experts and the concern above was not resolved. I got the answer I explained above. Med Gold BlondeI like a lighter blonde shade in the summer & dark blonde in the winter. The 1st time I ordered, I could only get a dark blonde color. I called, sent a picture & was told to send it back & was sent a lighter color. My hair is super thick & shoulder length so it takes 2 boxes to color. The lighter color was great. My only complaint is it didn't color my grey hair. I worked it in on my grey hair & roots 1st & really took extra time on the grey hairs. My 1st review through email about the coloring not covering my grey hair & was told I probably didn't pay enough attention to that area. As I started writing this review, I see the 100% guarantee & it being on Esalon, I was not once offered my money back or more color. Hair came out too darkI think I must be doing something wrong. The first couple times I used this product my hair was a beautiful color red. The last two times I tried it my hair comes out dark brown. If you changed your colors can you please look at my first 2 orders as that is the hair color I like. What a disasterI wanted to go from medium/dark brown with grey at the roots and mid-lengths, with lighter previously coloured ends to a bright copper all over. I did hairdressing in my youth, so I know that previously coloured hair absorbs colour/brightens easier than natural roots. They custom made me two colours, one for roots and mid-lengths, one for previously coloured ends. The bottle for the roots and mid-lengths was a brown base with copper and gold top notes and the bottle for the ends was copper based with gold top notes. Also I have thick, waist length, wavy hair and only received 1 tiny sachet of conditioner. I really needed about 5 or 6. So I ended up using a lot of my own deep conditioning treatment to complete. Whatever my previous experience, I decided that I should follow the instructions given as maybe the "experts" knew something that I didn't about their own colours. I followed the instructions completely and even had an "assistant" to help me with the back and tricky bits. I have ended up with brown (yeurch) roots and mid-lengths, but beautiful dark red/coppery (brilliant) ends. I adore the colour at the ends. But I didn't want brown hair with lighter brighter ends. I had that before with different colours already. I sent an email via the contact form over 24 hours ago. I haven't had a reply yet, although I did get the standard "we have received". I give one star for the presentation and ends, but sadly I can't give any for anything else. As you can imagine I am a very unhappy customer. I thought I would have received a priority response under these circumstances, but sadly I'm still waiting. Needless to say I have cancelled any repeat orders until I receive a satisfactory response and a way to sort it out. I know I can't put a new colour on immediately, but after a few washes I should be able to. I just hope they can give me a good result, so far I'm not convinced... Results were too brassy for ash blondeI wanted a color that wouldn't be brassy, and would blend my ash brown with the silver. The color of my hair now is exactly the same as the clear color in the bottle before I mixed it with the developer, the color of honey. The chemicals are too much for me.The chemicals seems to be more than store bought brands. The steps that was recommended at the end is way too much for me to handle. I inhaled a lot of harmful chemicals. I thought I'd die. I have to cut the waiting time too as I started to feel pain in my hairline. Way too much hair loss. MessySeemed like a lotta mess (in my new white bathroom!) and wasted product. The color was darker than I expected but I guess that's hard to get right the first time. Can be tweaked. I'm just not sure if it's worth tweaking for all the cleanup. Plus: my hair feels very soft and silky. Minor minus: Don't like the new packaging/ design and whole "kit" aspect. Seems a little cheap tweenage, like a feminine product starter kit. I'd prefer something more high-end looking. Elegant colors (or just black and white), elegant type fonts. Hair color - color revampedI received a new color with new instructions to follow, in July. I was out of town so just used it a week ago. Unlike the first application/order, the grey coverage at my roots this time is already fading! I'm really disappointed bc the first batch did so well. I'm bummed. Irritated ScalpI have colored my hair with L’Oreal and ColorSilk in previous years without a problem, but I decided to give E-Salon a try. The first few times it seemed ok, but the last time I used this hair color (11/2017), it irritated my scalp to the point that it itched for at least a month. Then my hair began thinning. E-Salon didn’t have any apology or reason for my problem with their hair color. I went to the doctor who gave me no solutions except to avoid this brand of hair color. Best Hair ColourLove this product and I have been using it for a while. I'll admit I did go back to a store brand (ever so briefly) and quickly switched back to ESalon as it was far superior than the drugstore box. On a bit of a branding petty note... the old style and labels were way more appealing. This new style isn't. Sadly branding/packaging has a huge effect on a buyer. When I have told people of this product it's interesting as some that started buying love it. (and it was back with the fun trendy looking fonts etc) The new look, it's hard to convince people it truly is good. It looks cheap and out dated. Bring back the fun fonts and update it looks. It is so cheap looking now. I get my order and I'll admit, now I just cringe a little. Wrong colorMy first and second hair color kit was very dark, so I never actually used them.(I had been trying to contact eSalon by email with no appropriate answers.) I wound up calling, explained the situation and my kit was readjusted. I did use this kit, however, it was still too dark. I'm hoping that my next kit will be my actual color.🙏 Although, I have not received a proper color kit yet, I do believe that customer service tried to help me with my issues.(On the phone only, I had no help through emails. ) I do hope that eSalon can adjust/adapt/fix the correspondence and acuracy while using email/chats. Too DarkI tried a dark blonde copper ash. In the pictures it looked really light and shiny. I followed the directions and it turned out very dark. It looks like I'm a brunette with a copper tint instead of a dark copper ash blond. It doesn't look bad, I'm just disappointed it didn't look like the photo they advertised. Waxy build upThe color is gorgeous! But a thick, waxy build up was left right at my scalp. This did not happen the first time I used this brand. Disappointed in deliveryMy bottle of developer leaked all over the package and it had very little left in the bottle. I still tried to dye my hair but I am upset as this is the first time this had ever happened with your company and I have always received excellent customer service. Don't Let Them Change Your Color!!!I am so disappointed in this company. I had to re-dye my hair after I got my very first color. The color quiz asked for a picture, so I attached one. The "personal colorist" said that a slight change would look better with my skin tone. My skin color and tone is pasty white with rosacea. I have been the color red that was chosen before and it actually works well. IF this company is ever used again, there would NEVER be a picture sent to make sure that no one ever "adjusts" your hair color. My hair turned into a dark brown color was darker than my hair has been my whole life. My older sister started coloring my hair when I was 13. No matter what color we colored it, the color always came out some version of red because that is how much natural red I had in my hair. So, when I started to go grey at 20, I gave up and just started coloring it in shades of red. I have recently moved to a very expensive part of the country and can no longer afford to go to a beauty school (who always did wonderful work), so I now am going to have to go back to coloring at home. Color much darker than expectedI like the feel of my hair after coloring. It also has a nice shine. However, the color is several shades darker than what I expected (and what was shown when I selected the color). I have very short hair, so touching up the roots means getting the color pretty much everywhere. I was also using a different color before (L'Oreal 74C). Messed up colorI'm unsure if there was a misunderstanding in the labs and I got the wrong color or what. However I was supposed to get a Ash brown with a pearl hue, my hair is so dark in color it's almost black. My hair was a medium/ light brown with a sort of blonde golden balayage throughout. I'm not even sure how this happened, I read the instructions in entirety twice before starting, and then again during application. I went as far as to use a timer to make sure I applied, and that I left everything on correctly for times. Too DarkI have previously requested a lighter color because once processed the original color was too dark; the lighter color I received last time was better however this time it was too dark again. Very DisappointedI was so excited to try this experience, I was very open as I have dyed my hair for many years. I thought this was going to be a different experience...and it was. First, I loved the packaging. It was feminine and made me feel like I was really going to be treating myself to a great hair coloring experience. The smell of the hair dye is overwhelmingly strong. I had to go outside at one point as it was difficult to breathe. Keep in mind I was in a large bathroom, door open and the ventilation was on. My eyes watered so badly at one point I had to have my husband get me a cool wet washcloth and guide me outside! Once the color was washed out and the hair was dry...My hair was very much two different colors!!! I lighter orangish-burgundy color at the roots and a very dark burgundy on the length on my hair. Product changed!When the box changed, so did the product. I have been using eSalon for a long time and have done the process the same way many times and had excellent results and many positive comments about my color. However, the last two shipments since the box change have been waxy, smelly, brassy, and left my hair feeling course. More difficult to use than other coloring systemsI was very excited to get a more customized color at home. The color I received turned out way more red as well as darker than the color I saw and chose on the website. The application was similar to other systems I have used at home, but when it came to rinsing out the color and finishing up- it was a nightmare. I initially took my time in rinsing out the color after seeing numerous reviews complaining about the sticky, waxy residue and the suggestions to make sure to get all the color out of the hair. I spent about 3 times as long rinsing out my hair as I normally would for any other color and I STILL ended up with that awful residue. I ended up having to re-wash my hair twice to get it to be manageable and I still feel a sticky stiffness in my hair. My hair ended up looking way more frizzy and dull than with other color systems as well. The smell of the color while rinsing it out was AWFUL! It was even hard to breathe it was so strong. I am not sure I would go through the process again even if it was the most perfect color in the world. Not For MeI think it's a good product for short hair or shoulder length hair but NOT long hair. I had a terrible time trying to dye my hair. I wanted more golden to go lighter like a bronze instead I got a very dark brownThe color was soft with a nice sheen just wrong , not what I asked for. I also received a new kit already and I stated I only color every quarter at most...3 times per year at best.
