I have LOVED esalon up to this time.I have had perfect success with esalon to date but the color give me was a little darker than I like so I asked them to make it a little lighter. Problem is, it is not covering the gray as well. Maybe something was wrong with this batch, I will try again but am very disappointed with the lighter shade. Worked ok....The packaging was super nice and I was impressed at first glance. The first bottle was a bit dark, and the second didn't cover grays as well as I hoped. Dark Blonde turned Dark Red-Brown - UGH!After detailing i hadnt colored my hair in many years but remembered i had alot of red tones resulting previously, the colorist made a special potion just for me. I wAs excited to try it and then horrified at the result. I sent her a pic to show her. Surely she can fix this. Oh no. She wants me to go buy color remover and pull all the color from my hair and send another pic before she will even ship out a replacement color. So im supposed to go to work with yellow hair from the removal? Oh no. Dye didn’t color my gray hair well/didn’t order another oneWhen I used the dye it didn’t cover all my gray hair. The color is supposed to be dark brown with purple but I couldn’t see the purple at all. To add insult to injury, they send me another one that I didn’t order. I called to clarify. Worst color ever.1st color great dark blonde. 2 color went dark red, I complained so sent 3rd color. It went bright red. I complained so got sent a toning mask. It took out every blond highlight that was left and went an even horrible color. Will never use your product again. Too Dark & AllergyI purchased the dark brown color & yet it came out pitch black. Then after a day, I started to develop an allergic reaction. I’ve used numerous hair dyes in the past & have never had an allergy to any of them. Unfortunately, I now have itchy red bumps along my hairline and ear, and also some elsewhere on the scalp. I’m not completely sure if this was cause by the dye, the stain guard, or a combination. Not for meThis is not easy if you have long hair. The hole in the color bottle was too small. The odor is really over powering. If you are scent sensitive like me stay away from this product. Hair feels horribleI really do not like how my hair feels after using the product. I issued the shampoo and conditioner supplied and it just feels awful. It almost feels like damaged hair and it dried dry and like their is product still on it. I have used home dyes before so know how to completely remove all trace of dye. The colour is a little brassy at the roots which has also disappointed me as especially mentioned that I needed to avoid that so deliberately chose an Ash colour. No where near my desired colorI was so excited to see a site that customizes my own hair dye...but when I colored my hair it came out so much darker than what I had wanted. Hated itI hate the color it turned my hair a very very bright orange. I had to wear a wig for two weeks until i could go to my hair stylist to put a rinse on my hair to tone it down. What happened to the shampoo?I colored my hair as normal but noticed that the shampoo didn’t lather as normal. 🤷🏻♀️ When I dried my hair, I realized that the shampoo did really clean my hair. Custom colour setThis is my third order. The first order was excellent with covering greys although a little too dark in tone. The second order was horribly darker and I was upset as I requested a lighter shade which was not possible as they were afraid that my roots would go orange in colour, so I was sent the same tonality that had to be applied to the roots only. I followed the instructions, but upon washing the product out not only I was left with a horrible waxy residue; I was darker in shade all over. The third time, it seems I’ve been given a slightly lighter shade, my hair is still wet so I don’t know how it will turn out, however, a horrible waxy residue is left on my hair. It’s sticky and greasy and the last time it took three days to wash out. I’ve put my next order on hold for the moment. eSalon Color turns my hair RedI tried eSalon because I’m on meds for RA & since taking them every brand of dark blonde boxed color turns my hair Red! I thought eSalon would work because When I go to the salon my hair turns out just like I want it. So I figured if eSalon colors custom made for me & it’s from a Salon then I should get Salon results, Right?? Nope... first 2 eSalon orders turned my hair Red! I tried to cancel but they offered to change my color at no charge but even the new color turned out Red! Thankfully I had ordered their highlights, which are great & I did Balayage & it hid a lot of the Red! I asked for lighter, when done, my hair was almost black again.The first order I got was insanely red. I couldn't use it. Roots faded too quickly and were too red.Color of length of hair was perfect. Roots were too red and worsened as the days passed. Two weeks after applying color, too much gray is showing at the roots. You screwed up!First order was ok. A little more time than I usually take, and it was dark. I asked for my next order to be lighter, redder. PKG says dark blonde and mahogany. It is almost BLACK! I hate it, my husband hates it. Makes me look very old, and very pale. I'm sure you've seen women of a certain age dye their hair very dark/black and it looks like hell. Like an old vampire. Don't know how you got lighter and redder out of this mix, well I guess you didn't, huh??! Anyway looks like crap. Not what I would have pickedI received a dark brown color the first time after saying I didn't want to go darker. The second shipment had a medium ash mahogany with red in it. I tried it and it didn't look great with my skin tone. I went to my hair stylist and had it adjusted. Nothing wrong with the product, but not a fan of someone picking my color online. It also smelled terribly strong compared to products I have used from Sally's or the salong. So gross!I ordered the "root touch up" permanent color. I've touched up my roots three different times so far. The actual color they formulated for me is good. But the formulation doesn't completely cover the grey. (I followed the instructions to the letter.) The hair dye is so awful to wash out - it's like "clay" or "mud"! It's very, very thick, and sticky and you have to really scrub to get it out of your hair and off your scalp. it's just too messy. I have white marble tile in my shower and it just makes a huge mess. I really like the idea of being able to do my hair my self, but it's just so hard to get it out of my hair, and it's so messy. This is my last time. Just not worth it - too much trouble. Never again!Cancelling this service!!! First I want to say that I have been coloring my hair for close to 15 years both at a salon by a professional and at home myself. I used the bottle method as I have long hair and that is what I am used to when doing it myself. But here are my issues: -I got two bottles in my kit and while it was clear that they were different color formulas, the only instructions for using the second bottle was to use it if I used all of the first bottle. VERY confused as to why they were different colors then. -The smell/fumes of this product were so overwhelming, I was choking and dry heaving from them. -My hair was super matted from the product when I was trying to rinse it out and pulled a lot of hair out just trying to get my hands unstuck from the mess. -My hair has NEVER felt this damaged! I swam competitively for 13+ years and NEVER has my my hair felt this dried out and straw like. I am guessing I will be spending a lot of time over the next few days with deep conditioning treatments/masks on my head. If I didn't have some free samples of leave in conditioner from Birch Box stashed away, I would not have been able to comb my hair this morning and even then it took me about 10 minutes to comb through it this morning. First time Hair ColorColored my daughters hair for first time, followed instructions and we could not tell a difference in her hair when done. There was absolutely no difference in color. Poor Grey CoverageUnfortunately, the change of colour to a Medium Ash brown with Highlights in a Balayage style appears not to suit my hair as my grey's come through after the first wash which is not acceptable for a permanent colour. Nice product but doesn't cover grayThe only reason I ordered was to cover my ever increasing gray hair. The instructions were easy to follow and I was able to get the color even throughout EXCEPT for my gray hairs. Also, it ended up with much more red than there has been in other applications. I don't think I'll be using this again because I don't mind my natural color. I just want the gray gone. If you're using this just for regular hair color, I highly recommend it. Asked for no gold undertones and got mostly gold undertonesThe color (medium brown) is VERY dark. Asked specifically for ashy, no golden undertones and got mostly medium gold/brown with a little blue in it. In a flash picture, the blue/brown is there but in the everyday daylight/sunlight - nothing but gold. I will say the color is shiny and the hair feels great, but overall, as far as getting what I requested, 1 out of 5 stars. I wanted a shade lighter, you sent me a shade DARKER!!I hate it, I wanted to go a shade lighter than my hair color already is and told you that and apparently you sent me the same color as my natural hair is only even darker! I had previously had a lighter hair color in my hair already and had to wait 3 months to try yours. Well I did today and even tho I said my natural color is med. Blonde I told you I wanted to go lighter and in fact what you sent me was EVEN DARKER than my natural shade. And to top it off I am stuck with a refill order for touchups on a color I hate. When my gray hairs grow back in they will be even more noticeable!!!😤. Very disappointedNo difference in my roots and my ends that were green and copper didn't completely improve. They were that color because they were bleached and dyed late last year and I was clarifying to lift the dye out. Both areas should have easily taken and all I got for results were some spotty accuracy in my ends. I can still see green in a lot of areas. I'm not pleased with the product or my results. A lot of time and effort for practically nothing to show for it. left my hair dirty and stickyThe first time I used your color product my hair turned out terrific.. the second time, not so much. I don't know if the formula changed, but the second shipment I got was terrible. First, the bottle top was way too small to get the color out.. I had to squeeze like crazy and even then could barely get any out.. i needed to cut a new hole in the top to make it work properly. And, then when I was done, and I followed all the steps as directed, my hair came out feeling really dirty and greasy-- it was like the shampoo didn't work at all. Problems just compound the more I useThe first time I got my color done at eSalon, I had little issues. The color looked good. My scalp itched a bit for about a week after. The subsequent colorings at home have caused the texture of my hair to become straw-like, damaged. I get regular cuts, leave in conditioner, etc. I had to resort of a mask made for correcting swimmers' hair damage. The scalp itching has become worse, each use and the last time I colored, I had to use Benadryl to calm it down for about 5 days. Clearly this is not for me. On top of this, I have noticed an increased hair loss, that I've never previously experienced (I'm including hair loss experienced after my two pregnancies as well). The hair loss is the final straw for me. The product is extremely strong-smelling. And though I get multiple comments, each time I color my hair, the color is not consistent - despite following the directions carefully and not adjusting the mixture at all. I am done with EsalonI have asked over and over to get hair dye that have no red tones and I want my hair to be ash brown. I also asked to change my stylist, since it seems like she either does not have expertise or she is not listening. My hair still has red tones and looks NOTHING like the picture that I sent more than half a year ago. I want a FULL refund on all the hair dye that was purchased from the very beginning. I am closing my account and going to a professional to get my hair done. Esalon has only promised me a guarantee that I would be satisfied but I have been way to patient and should have closed my account from the beginning. Colour didn’t takeI was very impressed with the colour that my colourist made for me, but the instructions are not great and aren’t made for everyone. It said to leave the colour in for 10 min which wasn’t long enough. I may as well not have coloured my hair. It also didn’t colour my roots very well. Faded quick..After 3 washes my hair faded drastically. I was supposed to recieve a permanent color but it seems like I got a semi permanent. Not the sameI've used e salon in the past with great results. I had no reason to believe this time would be different. I ordered the same color and instead of the dark brown with subtle highlights when the sun shines on it, I got a flat almost black color. I look like a witch. It's horrible and fake looking. The color I had recieved a number of years ago was so natural and close to my natural color my own air stylist didnt know I dyed it. Now everyone knows. Waxy and stickyI have colored my hair for several years. Decided to try ESalon due to the positive reviews. I was so DISAPPOINTED. Followed the instructions to the finest of details. My hair ended up waxy and sticky. It was horrible. I called customer service and was told to wash my hair with my regular shampoo mixed with a palm full of baking soda. It helped some but not entirely. Will have to try again and hope it removes the rest of the residue. The color wasn’t exactly what I had hoped for either. Will not be using this product again. Great color, didn't last long.I loved the color I got with this order. The only problem I noticed was that the color was just about faded out completely after 1 week. Is there a reason behind this? Not enough product and faded in 3 washesI am disappointed in this product, I have long and thick hair and the amount provided was not nearly enough to disperse through out my hair. I also noticed that it faded from my hair in 3 washes with my grey hair showing within one week of the application. After 3 tries they still didn't get the color right.Not only was the color not quite right, the product left a residue on my hair that felt waxy and it stained my scalp. they told me to try rinsing with baking soda, which I did, although that helped somewhat I still wasn't pleased with the feel and I really don't need another step while coloring my hair. 0 de 0 personas encontraron este comentario útil. ¿Y tú? |

Didn’t turn out as expected.Color was much darker than expected. Strand test was ideal. But my hair was balayage and my hair is just a darker form of it now instead of one solid color.
