Jr Staff Accountant

The Jr. Staff Accountant will be responsible for accurate efficient processing of the Company’s Accounts Payable and Chargebacks. The Jr. Staff Accountant will also assist in other areas of accounting such as of inventory maintenance. As the Company grows, the Jr. Staff Accountant will be given new tasks and responsibilities based on performance and ability, which will provide career growth opportunity, as well.

Responsibilities

Organize and maintain source documentation such as invoices and expense reports.
Responsible for AP disbursements (Checks).
Ensure proper expense loading in the general ledger.
Ensure proper authorization for all cash disbursements.
Assist with month end close processes related to accounts payable.
Respond and Maintain Credit Card Chargebacks.
Assist with daily inventory maintenance.
Prepare ad-hoc reports and requests on an as needed basis.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
Accounts Payable experience.
Experience with Quickbooks preferred.
Computer system skills including Excel.
Attention to detail and accuracy a must.
