eSalon is looking for you to join our fast growing team for our Hollywood Color Studio!

As an employee of eSalon, you will play an exciting role in shaping the next generation of our haircare services and offerings. All our fees are flat, and tips are baked into your competitive compensation which is the same whether or not you see clients.

Responsibilities

Work hands on with clients to formulate, educate, and apply color
Encourage clients to sign up for AS (autoship) of our custom subscription hair color and upsell haircare products
Create custom hair color formulations and/or match client's desired color to encourage repeat orders
Proactively build effective working relationships with clients and colleagues to ensure best customer outcome
Collaborate with other departments and seek further advice and guidance when required
Show openness to new ideas; listen to others and objectively consider other ideas and opinions
Uphold eSalon values and be a strong ambassador for the eSalon brand
Some customer service via phone and email may be required during slow times
Observe, analyze and report on service concepts to ensure successful project outcomes
Maintain daily spreadsheets, light data entry, and email communications
Other duties are required
All training will be in our El Segundo Headquarters
This is a full-time position

Qualifications

Current California cosmetology license
In depth understanding of color formulation
Strong formulation, application, and blow dry skills
Corrective color knowledge a plus
Aptitude for selling and cross-selling
A highly motivated, energetic team player able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Flexible; able to adapt and shift focus on various projects with ease
Ability to analyze client needs and concerns and provide appropriate solutions
Available to work weekends
Good verbal and written skills
Bilingual, Spanish speaker with a native proficiency in oral and written communication would be nice but not necessary
